There is no cancel out theory. I mean, people talk about it but it’s not a real thing. As already mentioned starting a bunch of receivers that catch passes from your opponents quarterback does not guarantee that he won’t call his own number or that the running back won’t have a big game out of the backfield or the pass catcher that you don’t own goes off randomly. if your opponent has say Kirk cousins on MNF and you have a decent lead and need to choose between Devonta smith and Drake London, You should still generally go with the player you were going to start anyway if that wasn’t London then starting London specifically to “ cancel out” cousins would be foolish as cousins could simply throw to pits and bijan as well as London and your opponent could catch you from behind. The only time it makes a modicum of sense is if you’re opponent had Drake London and you were deciding between Jalen hurts and Kirk cousins for example then you might be able to rationalize that every time London scores points you will also be scoring points. Albeit fewer points, especially in PPR, but cousins will also accrue additional stats throwing to other players. I’m using this week Monday night game as an example. It’s not a great example because I don’t see why you would ever start cousins over hurts in any situation but you get the idea.

Should it happen? No. I would agree with Strike, he probably doesn't think he sucks, I listened to a bit last Sunday and while he wasn't good, he wasn't the worst i've heard. He's getting paid lots to do it, and the whole Raiders thing. Could it happen? Brady is one of the few guys I could see making a bad decision to come back like that.

The covid vaccine was unfortunately politicized and it was actually dangerous in the sense that people were pressured into getting it asap. Do you know anyone who died from it? I do. It should have never been given to him in the first place and he died due to blood clots. I'm not suggesting the vaccine in general was dangerous, more so the rushed nature and the boosters upon boosters to keep fear instilled in the american people. Trumps prosecutions were, in a sense, a weaponization of the justice department. Dems/Libs spent the last 3.5 years hyper focused on "getting him" because they were deathly afraid he would wallop Biden in another election. Almost so focused on getting Trump that they turned a blind eye to the clown show they had going on in office. I can't stand Kamala but I would say she won the last debate... but let's be honest, after most debates both sides claim they won, even if it's obvious one side did much better. Kamala succeeded in making that debate about Trump so no one would focus on the Biden-Harris administration. That's why we came out of the debate with no new info on her actual plans or any responses about what she was already a part of.... But again, she did what she was supposed to do and I was at least slightly impressed by that because I've never seen her show the ability to hold a room. Every thing else you mentioned, I would agree with. Although, you're talking about intelligence and you previously had edited the title of this post to read Taylor Swift endorses Kamala. The notion that many liberals will vote based on their favorite celebrities is the epitome of a lack of intelligence.

Daniels is my QB in just about every league. He came through for FF in catch up mode, sort of what I was expecting he might do fairly often this year. 4-0 in redraft. One was a very satisfying win. Opponent was done and my team was done save for the end of the TB/WSH game. Daniels completed a pass ruled down short of the goal line. At that point I was down 0.6, TD pass or rush from him would do it and he punched it in himself on the next play. 0-1 in dynasty as i've paired down to just 1 of those. Cost myself the win weeks ago when I had 2 open roster spots and was deciding between 3 players to add, including Mason.... This was before Eli Mitchell was put on IR. I spent $1 FAAB on each guy I added. Mason was picked up after the Mitchell news for big $ by the CMC owner... who I played in week 1 Had I snagged Mason instead.... well that's fantasy, but it's ironic

he was rostered before any week 1 games were played in all my leagues, either by the CMC owner or someone else playing the odds of an injury. I had him in 2, didn't need to start him though

On the full website there are three button icons to the right of the screen above your starting lineup that read (Manage IR) (+ Add Player) (- Drop Players). the Manage IR button will take you to a screen showing all your IR eligible players From the ESPN fantasy app, on your roster page, if you have a player listed as O, you simply click the bench or positional button next to their name and you will have the option to send them to IR

interesting. most of my leagues have always done waivers wednesday morning, aside from the IBL. Basically digest the week on monday/tuesday, decide on any claims you want to put in tuesday evening and then wednesday and thursday you have some time to offer trades, etc. I still say that weekly TNF made FF a little more annoying and it feels like there is no real break between the FF weeks.

Everyone should be able to. I know I am, but like you mentioned in the other thread, I have commish powers. But I don't believe commish status gives any special abilities for roster management. Any player designated as O or IR can be placed on IR.

I believe Lager used a waiver claim for Lazard and subsequently dropped him to free agency. That is how @jerryskids was able to add him. If you did any moves yesterday, Jerry, we were already in open free agency.
