Round Eleven-Sixteen Commentary - July Mock 2024
WhiteWonder replied to Vikings4ever's topic in The Mocking Station
Orignally had Josh Palmer in mind for round 12 before I saw he was picked in round 9. I think Jeudy is a tolerable WR5 in a new environment. The $ leads me to believe he will be option 2 and part of the reason I am down on Njoku this year is that he seemed to do most of his damage with Flacco under center. Ty Chandler... meh. At this point, I am just happy he doesn't share a bye week with any of my other 3 backs. Aaron Jones is one of my favorites but he isn't getting any younger and Chandler was solid when given the chance last season. -

I guess your most pressing issue is needing a middle infielder? Arozarena has been much better in July, plus the potential spark of the trade. I know you said its a 5x5 hth league. i'll be honest I don't do enough fantasy baseball to remember which categories are generally used in 5x5. Randy is a higher homers and steals guy with less errors. But I would probably say it's close enough and you get a better draft pick out of the deal so why not roll the dice

potentially 4th behind Moore Allen and Kmet. Always the risk of an Allen injury, but even so... will Caleb be up to the task. I'm not surprised he's going around this point in drafts. -

I like Dowdle as a dart throw. I still think zeke will get every chance to be that veteran #1 based on familiarity but if he looks totally cooked in all facets, Dowdle is intriguing -

well, at least I know round 9/10 is where I can possibly land my Hock-Tua combo -

I loved the irony coming from people who want inclusion and tolerance. Very odd way to go about it. -
1997 was probably my first year. I was in middle school. I ran a 10 team league that year and expanded to 12 in 1998 and was PPR. I do know I had Moss on my 1998 team and Marshall Faulk. Possibly as a first overall pick... or maybe he was first overall in 1999. I know I had him in back to back seasons with one of them being first pick drawn 30 minutes before the draft. Something tells me I also had Fred Taylor, Jimmy Smith and Muhsin Muhammad. Can't remember who my QB was. I think I am most Nostalgic for the year I assembled most of the greatest show on turf, minus Bruce or 2004 when I had Moss and Culpepper

I don't mean to sound like the turd jcrock but I tend to agree. i'd rather see one thread when it's really more of a "who should I draft" in the form of discussion about the players. Just add to it with the new players you want to consider. I'm not even someone who would say "take it to the little help board" but there definitely was a time when this board was seemingly flooded with thinly veiled who should i draft or who should I start type topics.

Super pissed about the Randy trade. I do hear good things about the OF prospect they are getting back. #12 in seattle system but only 20 years old with some pop and lots of speed. Still, I was (and still am) hoping they trade Eflin and B. Lowe. Neither player should be in their long term plans and are currently costing the the most. We also have immediate upgrades ready to go in Jeffrey Springs and Junior Caminero, who has been taking minor league reps at second base. Baseball is such a game of momentum swings and clubhouse chemistry that I hate the idea of trading away your most animated, charismatic player who is beloved by the fans.

She has stated she won't do an onlyfans. idk what fanfix is but i guess its a more PG version. Honestly if she want's to keep cashing in before it's completely played out, she should have a cameo. I'm sure there are tons of thirsty dudes out there who would pay for a personalized hock tuah video.

Very sad that Randy was traded. Frustrated too. For fantasy purposes, it doesn't hurt me as he is still only open to myself and Lambert but for real life, I was hoping the team would sell Eflin and Brandon Lowe and leave Arozarena. He's had a down season but has been heating up lately... Tampa is only 4-5 games out of a wildcard spot and Randy has been the pulse of the team the last few seasons.
