it's not a fock up. plus anyone else could have mentioned there being a cut. I certainly didn't realize. I do think a cut would have been best to draft 5 but we are all playing by the same rules

Capital gains tax should be greatly reduced unless you are classified as a day trader. For so many reasons we should want to encourage people to invest in US based businesses, we should want to encourage people to invest as a way to build wealth and ultimately be less reliant on government assistance or things like dwindling social security when the time comes (side note people like to cry that Trump is going to end SS and ignore the fact it's been a mess for a while now). We should want to encourage people to invest for the long haul but not make them feel punished for making a short term investment. Citizens are taking on risk by investing, if they wind up getting rewarded for it they should realize much more of that reward. Cap long term capital gains tax at like 10% and significantly reduce short term capital gains tax. For people that qualify for day trading status, tax it as normal income.

I find it hard to not see trans as mental illness...
WhiteWonder replied to Fireballer's topic in The Geek Club
The guy you quoted for this post repeatedly said he doesn’t dismiss trans people. Said they are people deserving of respect like any other person with a mental disorder. it’s more than just reading books to kids in libraries but again, a lot of people in this thread are not dismissing trans people -
making my pick for me?

I find it hard to not see trans as mental illness...

excellent post. Oddly I have not commented in this thread. I would say I view trans as a mental illness. I think it's odd that dems and libs shouted "trust the science" when it came to masks and vaccines but we somehow don't trust science when it comes to sex and chromosomes. Yes, I understand there is XXY and such, but also as I understand it, a guy who feels he is a trans woman can get breast implants, cut off his peter, grow his hair long, take hormones, dress like a woman etc etc and his DNA is still going to say he is a male... no? I never had an issue with gay/lesbian because I think attraction and what you personally find attractive is subjective. I get that super conservative and religious types also view this as mental illness... Most men would want to have a threesome with two women. If they say they don't they are most likely lying... . That fact alone, at least to me, says they must be okay with bisexuality. Being born male or female is not subjective. Do I personally care if someone is "trans"? No. As long as it's not hurting anyone, why should I really care? When I DO care is when we are talking about influencing children or when we are talking about issues like sports where Brendan wants to be Brenda and wants to play on the collegiate women's golf team, taking away a spot from a biological woman. I will say one thing I never really considered was the point Jerry made above about how we treat depression and other mental illnesses versus how we treat transgenderism -
theres a cut to this thing and we only drafted 4? should have drafted 5

in a world where the mass influx of topics started by weepaws has finally died down, why are you creating more weepaws topics?

To move this chat out of the edex thread… I decided to keep the Qi10. It’s a little less forgiving than the M2 but when dialed in it launches . Have only been able to use it indoors with trackman. Eagerly awaiting these bitter temps to end. I still need to find a 3 wood I trust consistently.

I agree with you if the route someone is taking is propecia/finasteride (script drug) and rogaine/minoxidil (otc but harsh chemical drug). If you’re balding and feel the need to take this stuff daily maybe it would make financial sense to go the transplant route or at least try PRP treatment. vitamins and supplements have full body benefits and are inexpensive so it depends on a persons situation. I’ve always shied away from these things. Nioxin, Nutrafol because they are marketed specifically for hair loss and cost a premium, which makes me think snake oil. I also have 90% of my hair and I’ll stick to regular healthy supplements

For the similarity, I think you could match the GW to the irons since you're likely to use it only on full distance shots and then you would be safe to get different SW/LW combo as you see fit since you will use those in greenside bunkers and many short chips and pitches. For example if you bought Taylormade irons and there was a GW option and then you went with Titleist SW/LW. My father made the switch to stiff graphite from regular steel. Wanted something lighter but not too whippy. My GW (52) should be my 100 club but very often, because of how high I hit my focking wedges, a full shot will go 95 and land right in front of the green but now a full shot PW will go 125 so i'm usually choking down or swinging easier with a PW for those 100-105 shots.

he's a special athlete. I dont think anyone needs to read into team needs or what position he will play as far as who takes him. -

It's always a bit of both. I know most are not capable of seeing fault in their own side but clearly many presidential policies have lasting impact well beyond that presidents term in office. It's also usually fair to wait more than 3 weeks to declare the current state of various issues to be the direct result of the new potus. the biden inflation playbook was mostly just letting the Fed raise rates. I don't know what to say about his policies to fight inflation because he didn't have many. but i also believe some of the inflation he dealt with was caused by Trump during his first term so i'm not just a Trump cheerleader. Then again you can probably also find decisions made by Obama during his terms that were still impacting things like inflation during the Biden admin since many policies don't even show much impact until way after a potus leaves office. -
I think you're spot on minus the PM

I might suggest looking for a gap wedge that is more similar to whatever set of irons you go with and then getting matching SW/LW. Some iron sets go 5-GW as a standard option now. My dad bought Mizunos last year with the matching gap. Getting my taylormades last year was a big change even though the lofts are fairly similar. I went with KBS shafts that are 20 grams lighter and the change away from forged clubheads. Plus 15ish years of tech. So I am hitting all my irons including PW farther than my old ones. But I have never hit full wedge shots with gap, sand or lob very far. The ball flight tends to be straight up straight down so I definitely have a dead zone between PW and my more blade type GW.

The best way to support Ukraine would have been by trying to end the war and being open to negotiation

My Callaway x forged PW was 46* bought the 2021/22 Taylormade p790s last year and PW is 45* I have a Cleveland 52, 56 and ping 60 the 7 degree gap is not ideal and i rarely hit the 60 so id likely be better off with a 50 ”game improvement” irons you will probably see much stronger lofts
