I think Josh Allen is head and shoulders above Lamar, as I am someone who does think he elevates players. Not that he can't do a better job of it but I think he has elevated the likes of Shakir, Knox, even Kincaid when healthy. Gabe Davis, Cole Beasley, Zay Jones, ... Or perhaps it's just because I don't usually hear people excusing Josh Allen as not having enough legit weapons the way I hear them excuse Lamar. I know it gets said from time to time but it doesn't seem to be close to the same narrative.

there is probably a joke here that went over my head but for me I am very close with all my family on my moms side, my cousins are like siblings, aunts and uncles like extra parents... I have an aunt and my oldest cousin who is like my big brother who have the same 8/23 and the girl i dated through college was 8/23 and then a few years later I was dating another with 8/23. My mother was born on Juneteenth and ive dated someone with the same birthday. I worked and slept with a girl who had my same birthday, and also another milf at work when I was in my mid 20s who had the same 2/19 as my brother and I am currently dating a girl born on 2/19.... so it at least feels weird!

i'm sure it's been floated around and most people know it's not really possible... also, you are a joke. You have started 7 threads that are currently on the first page and they are all political. Either blatantly political or even for the 2-3 that could be lied about as "current events", obviously with political intent. So tell me, do you also post on a specifically political forum? How often?

i have not seen any mention of banning it in this thread. so while you may be (are) correct in that statement, it's kind of irrelevant

just because politics can bleed into any thread does not make every forum a political forum. the geek club is is a general discussion forum, which obviously includes politics, but as this topic alludes to it has become 80%+ political bickering. As I said, this is not a political forum, and as unintelligent as I think you are, I also think you know this. I think you know the difference between a specific forum for political discussion and a general discussion forum.

i shudder to think that the political honks that post politics all day at this non political forum are likely posting as often or more on other actual political forums.

nah its very relevant. baseball is a LOOOOONG season. Going to a better AND winning market? he's be smart to take less money just for the increased endorsement exposure. Baseball doesn't have stars the way the NFL and NBA do. If you are a top player you can fade into some obscurity wasting away in a small market on a losing team. If location didn't matter, asian players wouldn't tend to lean toward west coast teams, for example.

no but I tend to meet a lot of people who have the same birthdays as other significant people in my life or even myself. and i dont tend to care or make a big deal about birthdays, usually can't even remember peoples unless it's the same like i mentioned. Also addresses become odd sometimes like I had just moved to 14 blah blah Place and my dog passed away shortly after at 14 years old. Or ive lived at an address that was oddly similar to the one I grew up at.

I did not want them to hire Glenn but yeah, I think they could go 0-17 and he will still be coaching next season. Technically you can never know what Woody Johnsons line of thinking is but Glenn came from detroit and they had a horrible start with Campbell. So I would at least hope he understands it may take some time. Fortunately for the Lions they had already traded for Goff. This is also why I was not happy with the Justin Fields signing. Im sure they were hoping to catch the next Baker or Darnold but I wanted them to draft Dart. Not with pick 6, I was initially hoping in round 2 and then as we got closer to the draft I assumed they would need to trade back into round 1. Sucks that the Giants did what I wanted. ... so I expect them to draft a QB in 2026 and pretty much set the tone that Glenn is not on the hot seat.

Well yeah the needle is always technically moving I just don’t see any realistic reason they will fire him in year 1. Unless he pulls some urban Meyer shiit. They can go 0-17 and he won’t get fired until after the season.

The PGA tour doesn't govern the Major Championships. They wanted LIV guys banned but it wasn't their call. So the most they could do was sway the OWGR board to not allow world ranking points for LIV. Which kept a bunch of guys out but not the likes of Rahm, Deshamblow, Keopka, Mickelson, Hatton, etc. Basically guys are making it based on past majors won or getting enough ranking points just from the 4 majors alone.

I have a few thoughts on this (of course ) as someone who would have preferred LIV never happen but totally understood why it happened. Now I may be a Phil fan boy but the very last bullet point shows how right he was when he said he wanted to be a part of starting LIV golf to more or less expose the flaws in the way the PGA was operating and treating their players. We basically saw this in how Jay Monahan used Rory only to turn around and announce that initial merger idea. It does not surprise me at all that LIV has only lost money to date. When you spend that much to acquire your talent and to promote your league, the chances of you turning a profit anytime soon is almost zero. For example, just look at Draft Kings... they never turned a profit, until possibly just this year, because they had so much ad spend in an attempt to gain as much market share as possible. I knew their event attendance was better but at the end of the day it's going to come down to TV viewership. Fox picked them up in 2025 for a multi-year deal. Everyone knows a bunch of LIV players are past their prime. Almost that entire first wave back in 2022 fit this bill. Some of those guys won't have their contracts renewed by the league itself (it wont be because they don't want to renew). I hope it fails from a financial standpoint and these guys go back to the new and improved PGA... although I still think the PGA is biitch for not allowing these independent contractors to play when and where they want. If you are cool with your guys playing Euro events, you should be cool with LIV events.

I did actually watch that and it was entertaining.
