obviously i am in the one league you are referring to. I had a fun enough time last year but not sure in the end that i care much for the format. 10 teams 10 keepers. It was my first deep keeper league. Im used to either a full blown dynasty, redraft, or shallow keeper like say 2-4 players. So this was something new to me and i decided it was not my cup of tea. That said, i fully plan to stick with it if the league is saved. another knock on the league which is definately no ones fault is that i'm a little turned off by the fact 3 very strong teams were abandoned only a year after i joined. I had hoped that when i filled a spot, there would not be much more turnover. I enjoy a challenge as much as the next guy but have to admit that had i known a bunch of owners would drop out the next season, I may not have joined. Afterall, taking over a team in shambles can be fun but kind of annoying when any new owners this year get to step into well-off teams. Just my 2 cents. if nothing else its been fun seeing some of the trade addicts. definately the most active trade league ive been a part of. Gotta love seeing people strip their teams down to nothing for the sake of trade addiction hopefully it gets off the ground this year. I need to make up that game on you.

average per night? i guess 3 but that number is misleading. during the week i rarely have any. If im out to dinner or something maybe i have 1 or 2. the majority is consumed on the weekend nights or on sundays during football. interesting fact about old whitewonder. it takes a good amount to get me drunk, not all that much to make me vomit. i have no trouble with the alcohol, i just can't take that much liquid. im well known for the "puke and rally". I can be in the middle of a game of beruit, excuse myself to vomit, come back and drain the winning shot and keep on going like nothing happened. people say "you threw up? you don't even seem drunk". I'm not. Its just hard for me to consume 15-20 cups of beer in 30 minutes.

in all seriousness though, its definately one of those nice double standard things. if a girl i was with told me she slept with another girl once in college or something, i wouldn't think twice about it and would probably be pretty pumped that i might be able to easily work a threesome in the future. but if she had long term relationships with women (i think someone already covered this) it would be a huge red flag and i would likely move on. in my opinion your first instincts/desires are usually the correct ones and you can try to do the opposite because its more socially acceptable but deep down... if you strongly believe that person is the only one for you, then by all means go ahead and stay with them but im one of those who feel there are many people out there for everyone so why get yourself into something that could crush you down the line when they "can't live the lie".

the only time i pull down the waistband with my thumb is if im wearing basketball shorts or athletic pants. there is no fly so it seems pointless to use the fly in my boxer briefs when i have to pull the waistband down on the shorts/pants anyway. but when im wearing big boy pants, i always unzip and use the fly. anyone who does differently i would have assumed was half retarded. if you're in dress clothes or work clothes you have to untuck your shirt so thats extra hassle right there. even in casual jeans you have to unbuckle, at least unbutton and then make sure you're pulling the waist enough so there is no possible tension against your unit that could restrict flow and cause dribble. Im betting the people who use the thumb pull method have experienced this. what happens when your thumb slips and the waistband causes your ###### to change directions and u piss all over yourself or shoes or something? much easier to unzip, pull lil wonder out thru both flys and let er rip. can keep both hands free if i wish.

had whitehurst started last year, after being traded for, i dont think it would have been a wasted year. Seattle would have been seeing its invesment first hand and preparing for the future at the position. however if they do it this year, i think its a year late. Not that it still can't be viable or that whitehurst cant show them something but it will be painfully obvious that they should have played him more extensively last year. forget the divison crown and playoff win, this was a sub .500 team. They had no business playing Hass if their intention was to figure out the future at QB and fully rebuild.

no no. i totally agree with you. i think they realized whitehurst was a mistake my question was more in response to the post suggesting they play Whitehurst this year to see what they have in him. If thats the case, its something that should have been done last season. if they end up playing him this year to "see what he can do" then they have really botched the QB position.

i know the Hawks won the division and won a really, really exciting playoff game over the Saints but shouldn't the team have been doing this LAST season?? I mean, everything i was hearing from Seattle fans was that 2010 was a recognized rebuilding year, yet the organization played Matty Hass over Whitehurst. Would have been nice to see what they had in him last year and likely end up with a higher draft pick in the process. Seems like a wasted year in terms of finding the long term answer at QB.

To my knowledge we have 11/12 team members returning for our title defense so there will be 1 opening. a few months ago we did a preliminary feeler and got a few interested FFToday members. im not sure what Dan, Fumble and the vets have in mind but my best guess is that all interested applicants will be discussed at our war room and a decision will be made some time before mid June to allow ample time for our newbie to get an understanding of the IBL and how our team works together.
