Cotsonika, of the Detroit Free Press, reports newly signed Detroit Lions OL Ross Verba said he came with the expectation of starting at left guard and lined up as the starter there Wednesday, May 31. "I'll be starting," Verba said. "I'll earn it. I don't not start."

He's going to start ahead of Rick DeMulling at LG. Verba was the 30th pick in 1997 and missed 2 seasons so he has 9 years in but only played in 7. Played 106 games and started 100 of those games.

They do have two or three more years left in them before they become old fockers. Ben Wallace is at the end of his contract and rumors are flying about him going to Chicago. The Pistons would be crazy to offer more than 10 mil per season for 3 seasons. Anyone siging him to a 4 or 5 year deal is stupid because they'll get diminishing returns. They need to reshuffle the bench. Hopefully Ben will take less to accomplish this goal.

The discovery was made in a cave near the central Israeli city of Ramle during rock drilling at a quarry. Scientists were called in and soon found eight previously unknown species of crustaceans and invertebrates similar to scorpions. "Until now eight species of animals were found in the cave, all of them unknown to science," said Dr Hanan Dimantman, a biologist at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He said the cave's ecosystem probably dates back around five million years when the Mediterranean Sea covered parts of Israel. The cave was completely sealed off from the world, including from water and nutrients seeping through rock crevices above. Scientists who discovered the cave believe it has been intact for millions of years. "Every species we examined had no eyes which means they lost their sight due to evolution," said Dimantman. Samples of the animals discovered in the cave were sent for DNA tests which found they were unique, he said. The cave has been closed off as scientists conduct a more detailed survey. "This is a cave of fantastic biodiversity," Dimantman said.

They wrap around a little bit so a bit of light does get through if the sun is at your side. If you're facing the sun there is no side light. The arms do flex at the hinge. It's a fun league, but certainly not an easy league. I had an okay season, finished 12th in total points scored out of the 60 teams, but started the season with some terrible match-ups being ourscored by a few points each week. My team really turned it up to close the season. I am out for next season after being in since FFT was initially invited. Good luck and have fun with this guys.
