I'm sure we've all been accused of "Mansplaining" by the wife What's an example of a time where you had to bite your tongue when your wife asks you an incredibly stupid question? Last night I'm watching SEA/TOR ALCS Game 1. She joins me and asks if all the M's players are switch hitters. I casually reply that nope, while some are switch hitters most are only left handed or right handed. She then asked why are they wearing a patch that says "Switch" then? She was referring to the "Nintendo Switch 2" sponsorship patch that is on their unis. I think I deserve an award for not laughing and simply explained what it was.

Keep watching. The creepy sh1t he does is so insanely over the top it becomes hilarious. My wife definitely doesn't share my sense of dark humor but even she starts laughing. You have no soul if you don't laugh watching Jax play an accordion to "set the mood" before he focks his first dead body. Kudos to the Foley artists for the cracking sound that her joints make as he spreads her legs. Sounds horrific but it's of the "holy sh1t that's so gross it's funny" variety. To be fair my wife doesn't like when I call her Mother using the Ed Gein voice.

Bought my wife tickets for Neil Diamond as a surprise Christmas present. I was familiar with a few of his songs but definitely not my type of music. Holy sh1t did that old bastard put on a great show! Turned out it was one of his last performances before he had to stop touring due to Parkinsons.

The following song popped up on my Spotify shuffle today. Reminded me what an absolute abortion of a song/video this song is for the otherwise solid Judas Priest. It's very true that videos from the 80s are often cringe worthy, but that doesn't give them an excuse for making the sh1tty song in the first place What is the low point for some other good bands/artists?

While on the topic of Ed Gein... I was telling some friends about the Netflix show. My one buddy is an avid reader and he recommended the book about Ed Gein called "Deviant". Unfortunately it's not available in my local library system. Luckily Spotify has the audio book. Gonna give it a listen during my next road trip. I also can't help but think of this song while watching the show:

Wife and I watched first episode tonight. Plenty of ewwwww moments. Was not expecting to see Jax from Sons of Anarchy getting caught jerking off with a belt around his neck while wearing Jackie's (from Roseanne) underwear. Yes, @MDCit's another tranny thread!

I've been messaging with @Herbivoreabout my Aftershock experience this year. The main bands I came to see didn't disappoint. The best thing about this weekend was watching some bands I've never heard of before. Alestorm is a pirate/drinking themed band that was an absolute blast! Any of you dipsh1ts have a similar experience?

OBEY I remember watching this in the theater and sneaking in a couple bottles of beer. Of course in the middle of a quiet part I accidentally knocked over one of my empties and the entire theater heard it rolling down under all the seats. Good times.

The Walter Bishop character was great. Anna Torv as Agent Dunham wasn't bad either. She's purty.

FFS. Is it possible for you to NOT inject politics into EVERY. FOCKING. THREAD.? I decided to start frequenting this cesspool again for non-political threads as I enjoy talking music/TV/movies with the rest of you dipsh1ts and then you have to go ruin it.

I enjoyed it. After I watched the first episode by myself I had my wife watch it in case she wanted to watch it together. I 100% thought she'd pass so I was SHOCKED that she actually liked it. She usually doesn't go for that kind of humor.

You might like Strange Darling if you haven't seen it. That movie used a non-linear approach so you don't really know what is going on until all the pieces are revealed.
