Going to see Between The Buried And Me (BTBAM) on back to back nights as they play their Colors and Colors II albums in their entirety. One album each night.. The harsh vocals take some getting used to but once you get past it they are pretty damn good.

We had dinner w our daughter tonight. Was talking about how awesome it was - she liked Part 1 - so we're going to see it together tomorrow. Must've read the book a good 3 or 4 times so I knew all the nuances of the politics involved. Director did a great job summarizing the deeper points and glossing over the confusing sh1t that didn't matter as much (e.g. the Navigator Guild)

I saw it this afternoon. Ponied up to see it in the Dolby Cinema über theater at AMC. G0ddamn it was awesome. Deep bass tickled my ass.
