After listening to an album, Spotify will continue playing artists that are in the same genre. That's how I learned about several prog bands. I also watched a year end wrap up video from The Prog Report and learned about some bands I hadn't previously known about.

I was in lovely Yuma for a couple of weeks at the beginning of the month. I briefly considered checking out his winery over the weekend but then realized it would've been about a 4.5 hr drive.

My kids bought me a nice Buffalo Bills decanter set. The decanter and glasses are nice and hefty. Immediately filled it with the Laphroaig 10 I had in the cupboard. Fits nicely above my desk. I now feel like I'm in Mad Men.

Just booked hotel rooms for a concert with the kids that's coming up in Feb in LA. In addition to regular tax, and 2% tourism tax, I was surprised by the extra 14% "Transient Occupancy Tax". Felt like I was dealing w Ticketbastard and their fock you fees.
