Oh I know the rules. Just kept getting dealt sh1t. 9s and 10s ain't going to get it done. We do like this one, and we were impressed at how quickly he picked up the game. First time we met him was at a brewery so we taught him euchre to keep the conversation light while we played. Didn't even need to talk much about strategy before he was holding his own. I told my daughter I would officially adopt him if they break up as he's also a helluva cook. Prepared Christmas dinner for us - prime rib, etc - as well as a surprise dinner for me on my bday - t-bone steaks and mussels.

I almost made a similar TRUMP comment about Euchre. We played it in Western NY as well. Taught our kids to play along w their SOs.
