I feel for you buddy.
I was staring 0-3 in the face as well, until my new boyfriend Kevin Curtis exploded today. My wife is cool with it, though she might be a bit concerned when I accidently call her "Kevin" while in bed.
-
I know what's wrong with him.... he was my 1st round pick. I apologize to all my fellow Rudi owners.
-
Good question. Aside from that single 33 yd reception he hasn't done jack.
-
White Lightning!!!
God knows I needed it, after starting the season 0-2.
-
I won't be dropping him unless this pattern of zeroes continues for a couple more weeks as I have a viable #4 option taking his place in my starting lineup. It's not overreacting, just trying to figure out what the heck is going on.
I'm so glad I had Vernon Davis making up for Clayton's lack of scoring this week!! Oh wait...
-
I have this stiff as my WR3. Did he call Billick's wife a wh0re or something? Or was he more injured than what they were letting on?
-
Prepare to feel better...Lee Evans - 0
Deion Branch - 0
Mark Clayton - 0
That's right... 3 WRs and ZERO focking points.
Wow. That makes me feel a little bit better:
Mark Clayton - 0
Vernon Davis - 0
I also had Rudi and McGahee going last night. McGahee was poised to have a good game until Billick started coaching like an absolute moron!!!

Craptastic performance when there is only 1 game being played on free national TV. Can't wait to see how sh!tty it works under a full batch of games.

Do yourself a favor:Avery - Maharaja
Weyerbacher - Eleven (you may not find this too easily)
You can thank me later.
ETA - While favorite beer is an opinion, good beer is not...a lot of you have no clue
I've tried Maharaja on tap before. It is good stuff.
I haven't had Weyerbacher Eleven before. I'll see if I can track it down. Thanks for the tip!

The best beers not mentioned here are:Bridgeport India Pale Ale
I agree on this one. I love IPA's -- see Ruination post up top -- and this is what I usually keep stocked in the fridge.
-
Thanks for the link. That was a good read.
-
My favorite beer right now is probably Ruination IPA by Stone Brewing Co.
Only downside is that it's a bit expensive.
-
I apologize for making that unclear... I temporarily put him on IR on my team in order to make room to pick up James. By no way is Clayton on IR for the season. Sorry for the ambiguity and freaking some of you out with that.lol. Yeah, you had me performing a panicked search of ESPN, NFL.com, etc. once I read this!

doesnt surprise me at all. When this yahoo tried to call out roger godell at the rookie symposium I knew it was the end for him. He should have been worried about football.... not trying to be a know it all in front of his rookie peers.ps... I believe I spelled at least 5 things wrong up there.....
What did Smith do/say at the rookie symposium?

Pretty good, but someone has waaaaay too much time on his hands. That's pretty impressive. Too much time on his hands is right!
-
Yes, they are killer live...worth every penny.
The sound is tight, they play songs from all of their albums, and have something crazy going on while performing.
I agree 100% One of the better acts I've seen live.

Tanya Roberts in Beastmaster
I remember this being on HBO a ton one summer when I was a kid.
Ahhhh... visions of her bathing in the lake. Good times. Good times.

I wonder what courses you need to take in college to become the "Spray Bottle Guy"?
That would be a job I wouldn't mind getting up on Monday morning for!
-
Anyway, in the CD player in my car right now are: Guster, Nirvana (Bleach), Best of John Denver, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Iron Maiden, and Clap Your Hands Say Yeah.
Just curious, but what Maiden do you have in your car right now?
I'm happy to say that I've got my kids (7 y/o daughter and 9 y/o son) hooked on "Somewhere in Time". My wife is getting sick of them asking for it when we're in the mini-van (yes, I'm an old fock). It's pretty cool hearing my daughter sing the chorus of "Wasted Years", though!
-
You might want to give Modest Mouse a try.
Oh, and new Nine Inch Nails is due out on Tuesday.
-
It was close for me between #2 and #6, but "Moving Pictures" and "Flying in a Blue Dream" were the difference makers. (though White Lion was kinda hard to swallow)
-
(for example, buying an album based on a great single and then finding the rest of the album is utter crap).
See my Autograph example up above. Though in hindsight the "great single" was pretty much utter crap as well!!

okay, i'm much older than all of you so you won't remember stuff like this, BUT, when i was like 11 years old there was this tv ad for an album called "goofy gold." i begged my mom to buy it for me. it had songs on it like the monster mash and teeny weenie yellow polka dot bikini and a song about king kong, etc.
all my friends used to come over and we'd listen to it and learn the words and sing along. lots o' fun.
This wasn't an offering by K-Tel was it?
I begged my mom to get something similar to this. Can't remember the title, but it was the same idea. Songs like "May the Bird of Paradise Fly Up Your Nose", "You Can't Rollerskate In a Buffalo Herd", "Hot Rod Lincoln". I'm 37. How old are you?
-
These were the songs on that album.
Send Her to Me
Turn Up the Radio
Night Teen and Non-Stop
Cloud 10
Deep End
My Girlfriend's Boyfriend Isn't Me
Thrill of Love
Friday
In the Night
All I'm Gonna Take
Christ, man, why do you feel the need to kick me when I'm down???
(Please tell me you at least had to look this up online rather than checking your CD collection!)
