Yeah I have the same situation this week. I'm going with Culter. You can't bench your studs while he's the top rated fantasy QB if not in all of fantasy. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=328033

Both are #3 running backs IMO. In any scenerio I would rather have the younger RB on the better team and that would be Felix Jones. He's going to average 10 carries per game while Thomas Jones is older, with a pass happy QB who may be lucky to see 15 carries a game. I traded Thomas Jones after the second week and while he had top 10 RB stats thinking that his production was going to go down throughout the season. Well I currently own Barber and he's solid; yes he had some bad games recently but he's still getting touches. The only thing I don't like about Barber is his running style and he could go down at any moment. I'm always holding my breath when I see barber run, although, he is fun to watch running. I would have to say move LT2. The hype about the guy is still there, in the sense you can still get good value for him but I personally think he's fadding. 500 Bones?! are you serious? This is not a big deal. They get fined $17,000 for not being on time to their room throughout the season and many players are constantly late.

Stick with Kitna. Well...how good is the minny D? I think its fairly decent. I'd still go with Kitna. I believe Farve can still be a great fantasy QB but only for half of the season, so you have to play match ups

I'm thinking of taking Maroney with my 6th overall pick because I think he's going to break out. I mean Dillion and Maroney had 20 TDs between them! Wouldnt you expect him having 12 TDs, even if they sub Maroney out once in awhile. Also between them two they got nearly 1600 yds and nearly 400 receiving yards and now he's the #1 guy in NE. Why the hell would he be falling the rankings? Didnt he look good his last preseason game? I sure thought he did. First off, your crazy for thinking Brandon Jacobs is going to do better than Maroney. Considering if both are healthy, you have a team where they are going to be almost guaranty in playoff contention if not AFC champship compared to a team where they'll be lucky if they don't finish in last place of their division. So in otherwords, Giants are going to be playing from behind a lot while the Pats are goign to be playing ahead leaving Maroney with 25+ carries a game. But to be fair I actaully do like Jacobs and I think he'll be decent but come on man! ahead of Maroney Good point! and it should be a can't miss pick. I was thinking Alexander but he looks older than what he plays at and I think he's best years are behind him. I was also thinking Bush because of the saints schedule is so incredibly easy plus he's a big part of that offense

Another thing! Why is Edgerrin James ahead of Maroney on this site. They scored the same amount of TD's last year and Maroney split carries with someone who took 200 carries from him. Not to mention James is pushing 30! I think these rankings are messed up on this site and need to provide an explanation when they do their cheatsheets.

Addai at 3 is not that far of a reach and I don't think Maroney is that far of a reach, if any, at 6th overall. I'm just wondering why he is falling and why there's not more people high on him like I am? There's no way I would get him in the second round or even if I would flip flop picks in the first like 6th for 8th and pick up something because the guy behind me is high on him too. People around my area are high on him but out there in "internet fantasy world" people arent. What I'm wondering if there's something I'm missing? Some conspiracy about Maroney that I'm not being told about. Is he going to get his touches limited to 15 a game? or he's going to be taken out for goal line opportunities? or is there an injury that I don't know of?

I'm in the same boat as you buddy and I am actually considering taking him at 6 I'm about 60% sure I'm taking him but Shawn, Parker, and Reggie Bush are still so very tempting and its really going to be a last minute decision. The only thing I don't like about Maroney is that the Pats play some good and tough D's unlike Reggie Bush which is a cake walk compared to Lawrence. I'm not a fan of SA this year but I'm still considering him. I told my buddy the other day how much I like Maroney and how I'm not sure if I should take him or not. I said to him, I can't handle taking someone who I don't like and then them being bad but I can handle someone taking someone who I did like but just didnt produce that year.

Back your ideas with some reason and evidence instead of just I don't think or I don't feel him doing well I can feel and think too! I think and feel Michael Vick will be a productive DT when he gets out of jail

No thats a very good pick. I'm a homer but I will admit we havent had the greatest defense in the past 8 years or so but this year I think we'll be a top 10 D this year and possibly a top 5 D in real football.

I have the 6th pick and I'm not sold on SA who I believe is who is going to fall to me. I've had my eye on Maroney for the past couple months and I had him last year and i think he's due to break out but why is he falling? I see he's ranked 11th! surely he's a top 8 running back this year
