Is this the use of the royal "we"? Because I can't believe you would know anybody that would be seen you with you in public (or private, for that matter).

My bad! I'd put them at about a 34B, maybe 34C. Very hot Mormon girl exiled to Provo from SoCal.
-
I know the girl he knocked up; I'm curious to see how long the press takes to find her.

When it comes to the Lakers, Magic will always be #1, regardless of the ring total.

Went from Tucson to Ehrenberg, Texas to play in a naked volleyball tourney. Drove for about 20 hours straight. Never going to do that again!

Didn't Nick Faldo cheat on his wife? or a couple of his wives?
Skiptown replied to edjr's topic in The Geek Club
The PGA used to play the Tucson Open in January and in the 1994 edition Nick met a 19 year old from the U of A women's golf team. I was in a class with her (and about 500 other people) when the British press came busting into the class to take pics of her. As I remember, a cute blonde with 34 B-C. -
Obamacare to cost Verizon $970 Million in first quarter
Skiptown replied to Recliner Pilot's topic in The Geek Club
So the Huffington article is nothing but a bunch of second hand observations; no direct quotes from Obama. The youtube video is a bunch of soundbites. Hard to put a whole lot of credibility in that I guess that is airtight evidence though...for some people. -

Thanks, I'll check it out when I get home; no sound here at the office. -

Link to Obama saying he wants a single payer government controlled system? Just taking a page out of your playbook. -
What in God's name was sitting next to Lisa Leslie? Is Oprah that fat now?

Southwest Airlines: It's on! Just because you tell me to spend money to go somewhere I don't need to go to doesn't mean I'm going to do it. The least they could do is throw in some discounts! And I agree with Yer Mom about the mini sirloin burgers, although we always called that place Jack Off in the Box.

Anger management issues much? Certainly seemed to have touched a nerve. Guess you better go get drunk now (like you're not already).

Very,very true!

But NoCal and SoCal sound better. Plus it's a way for us to put you guys down a little more.
-
Like anybody cares! Just kidding. According to the general consensus here, anything from Bakersfield on up is NoCal. Doesn't make sense, but that's the way it is. Don't you live in O.C.? Ask around and see what the Orange Curtain people have to say.
-
Down here we either use NoCal or SoCal; depends on what part of the state you're talking about. Cali is used just by the rubes.

Hope the weather stays nice for you. From the looks of that webcam, it's been a while since they've cleaned the lens. I'm in Paris until Monday. You want to talk about hot looking women! Unfortunately, most of them smoke though. Still, perfect weather, and a really fun city to be in. Off to the Louvre tomorrow, then a climb up the tower at Notre Dame. Lots of drinking tomorrow night to do tomorrow night.

Just as Minneapolis has its share of crime, L.A. has their's. I live in a small beach community that doesn't have the same crime problems associated with the bigger cities. I also have a number of great bars and restaurants within 10 minutes walking distance. Perhaps if your town had something like that, you'd still have a Dodge Charger.

I always enjoy the bashing the non-California residents give this state. However, when it comes down to it, the quality of life here far surpasses the crapholes that many of you call home. The article quoted was more of an opinion piece than a factual report. Nowhere in the CARB link did it say black was going to be eliminated (although I certainly would like to see CARB eliminated, but that's a whole nuther story). It did say black was a problem, but not that it was going to be eliminated. 70+ degrees outside; time to walk down to the beach for some reading.

And that's why you're out of the running for the first geek to a million contest. You may be young, but you're dead and you just don't know it yet.

I also had bad memories of the old Lowenbrau. I was in Munich a couple of years ago and tried it there (the only thing on tap in the restaurant I was in). What a difference! If only we could get that stuff here.

Somebody will be right over; please leave the light on.

Not to be too picky, but Arizona was -3 over BYU, Cal was -10 over Miami and Oregon State was -1 over Pitt. Oregon was +1 to Okie State. So really it's not too surprising that they went 5-0. I'm an Arizona alum, so I was glad to see it. I expect to hear more of the same crap when the NCAA b-ball tourney comes around.

That's funny; that's what we always said about Phoenix. The layer of smog over the valley of the sun in the winter is thick enough to chew on. Way worse than anything we have here in SoCal.
