Brutal trade deadline for my team. Helsley will not be the closer for the Mets. Same with Shelby Miller for the Brewers. Damn.

I was torn on how to approach the supplemental. I have a lot of offensive (take that anyway you want) players that have flexibility, so I can move them around and fill my lineup day to day. Contreras, Burleson, Edman, Donavan, Gorman all create good options at all IF, C, and OF spots. The issue is none possess the power/RBI I need. when I looked at my pitching corp it became obvious this is where I needed help. Helsley and Shelby Miller were providing saves but Miller is probably lost for the season now. No one else on my roster had more than 3 saves. Megill should solidify that. Rodon was a no brainer. Consistent top of the rotation guy to pair with Sonny Gray. Adds the strikeouts I lack. Hopefully Alcantara gets traded to a c tend or and has a solid second half. It would give me a pretty good rotation to compete with some of you bums.

I couldn’t pass on the production from Rameriz. One double and one HR from being a 40/40/40 guy last year. Too good to pass up.

Good draft. i didn’t really miss out on anyon other than Flaherty and/or Wacha. I had plans of going OF and SP early but Flaherty popping at 1.04 changed that. I did nab 3 of my next 4 on my list with Ozuna, Arozarena, and Tyler O’Neil. I was torn between Arozarena and Adolis Garcia but went with the potential for Steals with Randy. Lack of OF production was part of my downfall last year. I should have that addressed. I have several multi positional players like Edman and Donovan that will help. supplemental order will be huge to determine if I can contend this year.

My draft is complete. Ugly ugly options after round 2.
