News Story: Williams refuted reports that he has several herniated discs in his back, the Tampa Tribune reports. Williams is not listed on Tampa Bay's injury report for Sunday's game against Carolina. Fantasy Analysis: According to the report, Williams laughed out loud Friday when he learned of the rumor. "Are you kidding? They really said that?" Williams asked. "I never heard that, and I know I never heard anything about having all those disc problems, either. I don't know where they got that." After practicing Friday, Williams made it clear his back is fine and that his recent bout with back spasms is not the result of herniated discs or anything structural. It would be nice if we knew for sure what the cause of Williams' back spasms are, or were; however, if Williams really had multiple herniated discs, he likely wouldn't have been able to suit up at all, so we can likely discount that story. Manning is my starter, Vick is my backup. I unfortunately took Lemont "you big dummy" Jordan with my 2nd round. My other backs are Jamaal, Rhodes and Jacobs, so obviously i am in need of some help there. What do you boys think of a Vick/Dunn swap???

I am not sure where you heard Griese would be starting game One, but that is definately nt true. Gross-man is the guy that will start this season as the #1, and will not lose his job over any pre-seaon performances where he has Rashidi Davis as his #1 receiver. However, if he goes out and throws three interceptions each week for games 1-4 , then expect Girese. Grossman will no doubt be injured by then anyway. As far as RB goes - Benson looked like he was going to be the unpopular choice to start the season, but skipped out early on the game last week, and iddn't show up for a post-game meeting. therefore, he has not endeared himself ot teammates, coaches nor fans. I expect Jones to be the opening day starter, but knowing the McCaskey's (owneres) they will insist on Benson being the guy based on the money they are paying him.
