Championship! 1/2 PPR...please weigh in! QB Bortles or Foles RB Gurley plus (choose 1) Ajayi / D Henry / M Davis WR Julio plus (choose 1) Gordon / Diggs / Cupp / Dede Westbrook TE Engram or Doyle Flex 1 of the above D Ravens (vs Colts) or Bears (vs Browns)

and would appreciate any input you can muster: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=473718

To be safe I'd say Tate, just because Lions QB situation is more stable. But Gordon if you're willing to gamble..
-
In this order: Mike Davis K Williams Booker Blount D. Williams (??) Burkhead (out)
-
I also have to choose between Engram and Doyle. I'm leaning towards Doyle. My thought process: Engram The good: highly targeted The bad: matchup, team is sputtering Doyle The good: matchup, redzone safety blanket The bad: Thursday night game (but home at least) Ultimately Doyle has a much better matchup, so that's where I'm goin!
-
Ah yes,league is 1/2 PPR
-
How would you play this? RB: Gurley + Ajayi or D. Henry or Woodhead WR: Julio + Gordon or Diggs or Cupp or Corey Coleman TE: Doyle or Engram Flex: any one of the guys above Many thanks in advance!
-
i'm personally starting Bortles. he's on a roll (by his standards) and has a soft matchup. i don't trust winston. no idea what kind of gameplan the Eagles will roll out for Foles (possibly conservative?). bortles has the highest floor, i believe.

Need to pick my RB2 for the week. Who would you go with for 1/2 PPR? Dion Lewis vs Chargers Javorius Allen vs Miami Latavius Murray vs Cleveland
-
Been offered Ajayi for Kelce. My opponent has a glut of RBs (I'm thin), but I'd be forced to rely on Engram at TE. 1/2 PPR league My team (5-1) QB: Winston, Taylor RB: Gurley, D Lewis, J Allen, D Henry WR: J Jones, W Fuller, Diggs, Kupp, Maclin TE: Kelce, Engram K: Lutz D: Ravens His team (2-4) QB: Brees RB: Ingram, Ajayi, Martin, McKinnon WR: AJ Green, D Hopkins, A Cooper, Jones Jr TE: Dickson, O'Leary K: Bailey, Prater D: Cowboys, Chiefs

Thanks...unfortunately I lost Cook earlier in the season, hence the lack of RB depth. Love your handle BTW

I need to pick 2 RB to start out of the group below. I've listed them in order of how I think they'll perform: R. Bush vs OAK Wells vs DAL M. Bush @ MIA SJax @ SF Tolbert @ JAC Which 2 would you play?
-
I like your RBs. If Ocho isn't able to return to form this year your WR corp is in trouble. Evans & Moss won't give you any kind of steady production. Also, Campbell at QB is trouble.
-
I'm thinking about offering LJ (in a bad KC offense) for MJD (good JAC offense, would complete my JAX RBBC). My roster: QB Derek Anderson, CLE QB Jake Delhomme, CAR QB Brady Quinn, CLE RB Marshawn Lynch, BUF RB Fred Taylor, JAC RB DeAngelo Williams, CAR RB Larry Johnson, KC WR Terrell Owens, DAL WR Marvin Harrison, IND WR Ted Ginn Jr., MIA TE Kellen Winslow, CLE TE Tony Gonzalez, KC PK Stephen Gostkowski, NE Def Packers, Team Defense, GB His roster: QB Marc Bulger, STL RB Adrian Peterson, MIN RB Maurice Jones-Drew, JAC RB Jonathan Stewart®, CAR RB Chris Perry, CIN WR Larry Fitzgerald, ARI WR Chad Johnson, CIN WR Donald Driver, GB WR Chris Henry, CIN WR James Hardy®, BUF WR Eddie Royal®, DEN PK Rob Bironas, TEN Def Vikings, Team Defense, MIN Def Jaguars, Team Defense, JAC Thoughts? Leave me some love and a link. . .

This team looks promising. Two stud WR, 1 stud RB (westy at #5!?), and big ben should be ok. I think Ricky Williams/B Jacobs will become your RB2. I wouldnt count on Indy D to do anything special.
-
I'd go Romo. I think he'll easily be top 3 (if not #1) at his position. Portis should be solid, but I just don't see him putting up better numbers than Romo. Not to mention the tiny shelf life of RBs, and he has a few capable backups competing for carries. Grant benefited from playing w/Favre and a wide open passing attack. Defenses will key in on him now w/Rodgers at QB.
-
Looking to bolster my RBs and he's looking to bolster his WRs. . .would you trade Boldin for LJ? Boldin's contract woes continue, and who knows what will happen. his roster QB Jay Cutler, DEN QB Jeff Garcia, TB RB Frank Gore, SF RB Larry Johnson, KC RB Jamal Lewis, CLE RB Rudi Johnson, CIN RB Chester Taylor, MIN WR Calvin Johnson, DET WR Jerry Porter, JAC WR Jerricho Cotchery, NYJ WR Bobby Engram, SEA PK Lawrence Tynes, NYG Def Titans, Team Defense, TEN Def Cardinals, Team Defense, ARI my roster QB Derek Anderson, CLE QB Jake Delhomme, CAR QB Brady Quinn, CLE RB Marshawn Lynch, BUF RB Fred Taylor, JAC RB DeAngelo Williams, CAR RB Rashard Mendenhall®, PIT WR Terrell Owens, DAL WR Anquan Boldin, ARI WR Marvin Harrison, IND TE Kellen Winslow, CLE TE Tony Gonzalez, KC PK Stephen Gostkowski, NE Def Packers, Team Defense, GB

Tough to say, because I play in a 12 team league, and w/only 10 teams in the league your squad should be pretty deep. That said, you have nice starters at each position. Brees is poised for a big year, Edwards has unlimited potential, and AP is a beast. I think Calvin will have a big year, and if Cotch develops some chemistry w/Favre he'll be a nice WR3. RB2 might be cause for concern, as Graham may be splitting time and all of your other backups are unproved rooks. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...p;#entry3683395

So, I ended up pulling the trigger to send Boldin + Mendenhall (a WW pickup) to get LJ. Then I picked up Ginn off the WW to fill out my team. I feel pretty good about this deal given Boldin's contract troubles & injury history, and Mendenhall is still unproven. Thoughts?
-
This team has great starting RB/WR. Your backup RBs are rooks who are boom/bust. I think people are over-valuing Hass at QB, but he should still give you steady, but not amazing points. Overall a solid team, good job on the first 5 picks. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...p;#entry3682574

I could probably pull it off for Lewis. However, then I'd have Anderson, Winslow, & Lewis--putting all of my eggs in a Cleveland basket. I'm actually from Cleveland and a Browns fan, but w/our history of collapse it doesn't seem like a wise move.
-
He countered w/Boldin for Rudi Johnson. Thoughts?
-
I would do it. Colston is an upgrade at WR. I think Graham will outproduce Maroney (oft injured and likely in a RBBC in NE) and Cutler/Rivers seems like a wash. Do it!
-
We can start any combination of 3 WR/TE. I just don't have a good feeling about the Boldin contract situation, coupled w/the fact that he's knicked up every year. I think that picking up LJ and starting TO w/a combination of Harrison/Winslow/Gonzalez leaves me in better shape.
