They make it for weight loss now. It's called wygovy and there are a few others. I don't take it but I know a few people who have. I think it's great. Obesity is a huge problem right now. Losing weight will solve a lot of issues people have. So IMO it will solve more problems than it makes. As for the side effects most of them are the same fasting or calorie restriction. I think it's great. Hopefully there are no long term issues.
