Empire of Dust Lao Yang and Eddy both work for a company called CREC (Chinese Railway Engineering Company). They have just set up camp near the remote mining town of Kolwezi in the Katanga province of the RDC. The goal of the company is to redo the road, covering 300km, that connects Kolwezi with the capital of the province Lubumbashi. Lao Yang is the head of logistics of the group. He is responsible for the equipment, building materials, and food (mainly chickens) to arrive in the isolated Chinese prefab camp. The Congolese government was supposed to deliver these things but so far the team hasn't received anything. With Eddy (a Congolese man who speaks Mandarin fluently) as an intermediate, Lao Yang is forced to leave the camp and deal with local Congolese entrepreneurs, because without the construction materials, the road works will cease. What follows is an endless, harsh, but absurdly funny roller coaster of negotiations and misunderstandings, as Lao Yan learns about the Congolese way of making deals.

This is the problem with white people. White people's strength is being able to collaborate with our neighbors. It works because our neighbors were also white people who thought like us. This came from the cold winters in Europe and having to work with each other to survive. White people in general especially liberals think other cultures and races think like we do. They do not. They have their own ways which come into conflict with our culture. You see it in the entitlement, you see it because they think everything around them was magically built and nobody actually had to work hard to do it.

Which I think is good for me since the ETH they were keeping to stake SHOULD be returned to us which increases our crypto return. However, that will probably decrease the value of NewCo shares. It is estimated crypto in the form of BTC/ETH will be returned to us in January with NewCo shares issued sometime next year. Everything above other than Theta is on my ledger. I have little to no crypto on exchanges. I'm currently using Coinbase to DCA and crypto.com to buy/hold some random small coins that aren't worth the fee to take off.
