Good morning everybody, Just a quick question, in the league I am in, I have Bell and have him in my IR position (our league rules state that a player has to be listed as "out" to be on IR, but doesn't specify that it has to be an injury). I have heard some grumbling about it since he isn't actually hurt. I don't want to be "that guy", but I also don't want to do something just because some guys are butt hurt about it. Long standing league (15 years), and we all have known each other for many years otherwise. In your opinions, should I roster Bell on my active/bench roster, or is it permissible to carry him on IR? Thanks, I appreciate the input!

Just a follow up, I moved Bell to my active roster (since I would have to soon anyway). Tried to trade my 4th RB (Carson), no takers, so dropped him. Added D'onta Freeman to my IR since he may come back beginning of November, and Lamar Miller is stinking up the place. Thanks again for all the opinions and advice, greatly appreciated!

Thanks everyone, I have struggled with this since it was brought up. I figured "out was out", but I'm sure there needs to be some clarification. If the league wants to implement a "LeVeon Bell" rule, I would absolutely accept that. There always seems to be some exception to the rules, and I guess the best we can do is address them as they arise.

I'm rolling down the Rivers this week against the Redskins. My ceiling might not be as high, but my floor is pretty solid.

I've picked him up in my PPR league. Fitz is still the #1, but John Brown can't stay healthy, and Jaron is getting a lot of work. (Sneaky play, since AZ can't run, might take a look at Ellington).

Starting Wayne with my fingers crossed. My wide receivers are absolute crap (I had Eddie Royal to start the season, and I think Denver forgot he was on the roster), Brandon Gibson, Jason Avant, Jacoby Jones and Andre Caldwell! (You can smell it from here), so I really have no choice. Luckily I also have Schaub, Chris Johnson and Gore, so who knows?

I own both of these guys. I'm looking at Bush as a more immediate short-term impact player, but I would expect Thomas be more of a long-term option. M Bush is only going to play as long as Fargas/McFadden are banged up. I think the Saints have figured out that their most potent option is a 1-2 punch at running back, and as much as I like McAllister, I believe Thomas is their inside runner/goal-line back of the future.

Week #1, Schaub against KC or Rivers against the Bears? 1 pt = 50 yds. 6 pts= TD -2 - INT Really wrestling with this one. The matchup favors Schaub on paper, but Rivers is my #1. Both defenses gave up 18 pass TD's last year, but Bears create more turnovers. Will help if asked!

Think I would go with Green. Think Jones will be a stud, but NE is a lot tougher Def. than KC. Good luck!

I'd go with Lamont against Detroit. Far easier matchup. I love TJ, but not necessarily against NE, and as a Bears homer, they let the better running back go, got no faith in Benson in the long haul.

As much as it pains me to say it, after watching that anemic attempt yesterday, I'll go 3-9. My wife has turned me into a Buckeye fan, and my daughter goes to Purdue, so I think I'll watch them from now on.

Thomas Jones will rock NY. Bears blew it big time letting him go. Behind a young, improving bulldozer of an o-line (hell, they made L. Washington look good!), a healthy Pennington, and legitimate WR's, Jones goes off big. Bet the farm.

Well, Lundy plays the Eagles, Bush gets the Browns. The Texans brought in Ron Dayne to snipe carries at the goal line, Bush will share carries with McAllister, but should get more action on third downs and passes out in the flat. Hmmm, think I'll go with Bush (by the way, I have the exact same problem. I'm starting Bush and Gore).

IMO, grab Watson NOW! He should have a huge year. Frankly, I'd drop Cooley (Washington is a trainwreck) and Frye will be running for his life so he'll need a safety valve, but Watson will be Brady's go-to guy for the forseeable future.

From what I'm hearing on The Score 670 out of Chicago, they are saying it's Grossman/Benson. TJ is a stud (and proved it all last year), and at this point Griese gives them the best chance to win now. The defense can't carry them forever. Grossman/Benson may get there one day (hopefully), but Bears ownership is not the brightest bulb in the lamp, and so will play Grossman/Benson because of the money they are paying them, not because they are the better players. Pretty sad really.
