  1. for those of you 40 and older, just nod your heads. For you youngsters in your 20's, sit back and read the knowledge I pass on to you as I "pay it forward" in one of life's simple mysteries. You meet some chick in life and decide, "Hey, she is the one for me" and you get married. You buy her an outrageously expensive ring while you settle for a simple wedding band. You put your money in joint bank accounts and watch her spend your money on stupid sh!t. It bothers you, but at the same time you want to "give her the world" cuz she's your wife. Eventually, she sh!ts out a couple kids. You spoil these bastards until their late teens. Christmas, Birthdays, and Vacations get more expensive every year. You drag your kids around to different little league games. You practice with them to help with their skills when in actuality...they focking suck. You dont tell them that they suck and just blame everything on their coaches. You never get to eat in the restaraunt of your choice. Your life is revolved around what everyone around you wants...not what you want. You give, give, give and they all take, take, take. When the wife finally decides to do something for you, your dumbazz gets a new lawn mower. Youre so wrapped up in giving everyone else what they want, you actually think that the mower is a cool gift. Not realizing if you bought your wife a new stove for her birthday, she wouldnt talk to you for a month. So, the kids grow up and you get tired of your wife. You say, Fock it, I've provided for everyone for so long, I'm gonna do something nice for myself for a change. You dont ask permission like you've done for the past 20 years. You go buy a motorcycle or a vette at age 40+ and everyone thinks you are going through a midlife crisis, cuz those are "suppose to be" items that young people buy. Reality is this. You just dont give a fock anymore. No one appreciates you, so why bother? Its not a mid life crisis...its a mid life awakening. Everyone around you is shocked because you are finally doing something for yourself. Stick to your guns. Keep doing the things YOU want to do. You dont owe anyone an explanation. You are a grown azz man. The only sad part about this is you always end up thinking......."Man, I shouldve done this sooner".

What state would you live in

I just moved to Utah four months ago. Not as cold as I thought it would be. Mountains are gorgeous and nobody here is a fatty.

    Cryptocurrency

I use Voyager for my crypto. They are a broker and charge zero monthly fees and zero fees for trading. Download it to your phone and you are set. You even get monthly interest on select coins. Bitcoin is 3.5% interest which blows away any bank peddling a 0.0002% interest on your savings acct.

If reparations are paid...im gonna be pissed

Reparations should be a free education. Some will use it and some wont. An educated group of people will not only make themselves better, but make this country better. You can go to cosmetology school, become a mechanic, a lawyer, or a brain surgeon, or whatever you want to do on America's dime. Present the opportunity. Those that prosper will have better lives. Those that falter can blame no one but themselves.

  7. The Pope. I wont take you down the rabbit hole of the catholic church but I will give you a small peek. The pope rules more than just the church... Taken from history.com Vatican City is the smallest country in the world. Encircled by a 2-mile border with Italy, Vatican City is an independent city-state that covers just over 100 acres, making it one-eighth the size of New York’s Central Park. Vatican City is governed as an absolute monarchy with the pope at its head. The Vatican mints its own euros, prints its own stamps, issues passports and license plates, operates media outlets and has its own flag and anthem. One government function it lacks: taxation. Museum admission fees, stamp and souvenir sales, and contributions generate the Vatican’s revenue.

    toilet replacement

Planning on replacing both of my 100 year toilets at the house. I had no idea that the toilet market was so jam packed with different brands. Can anyone recommend a brand or style in the $200ish range/ category?

Is it time to get out of the market?

I'm currently buying falling stocks at an alarming rate with the hopes of making some nice cash next year. REM: Its the end of the world as we know it, and I feel fine.
  10. I'm pretty healthy for a guy at the age of 50. I do bloodwork twice a year and since I never meet my deductible I usually pay $430 a pop each time I go. (Blue Cross/Blue Shield insurance) There's a good chance the older I get, the more focked up my health is gonna be. I see and hear about the struggles of old focks around here and med costs. As I start thinking about retiring in the next 10 years, I'm wondering if I need to be thinking about living in Messico or Canada for healthcare alone. To me, it makes sense. Somebody talk me out of it.
  11. I never said it was bad, just costly. If u get "the cancer" then say goodbye to half ur 401k. These 3rd world countries are cheap to live in. (22k a year)
  12. Yeah and Ecuador as well. But I'm kind of a puss and want to stay in North America.
  13. Just copped a pair of square toed Anderson Bean cowboy boots and these things are surprisingly comfy as hell. First pair of cowboy boots I've ever owned. For those of you that wear western boots, what style and brand do you roll with? I've clearly been missing out.

Any cowboy boot wearin' geeks out there?

Nah, I wear a 14 B. Its hard finding shoes that fit right.

The exact pair that I got.

    Any pickup truck geeks here?

Truck people are snobbish when it comes to brand loyalty. Here are your big 3. Chevy/ GMC Ford Dodge Ram The Toyota Tundra is the new hipster kid in town that's getting a lot of looks. Plus, these Japanese engines run forever. Which leads me to the Nissan Titan. Very underrated pickup from a brand that's been around forever. I love the mean and aggressive look and their trim levels go from the basic SV model to the higher end platinum reserve model. Last year Titan sold 53,000 trucks in a year. In comparison, Chevy sold 53,000 trucks in the first three weeks of December. Jaw dropping, considering how many players there are in the market. I drive a Dodge RAM crew cab and love it, but if I were in the market for a new pickup, I'd strongly consider the TITAN.

    Thinking of buying a car

Ive heard these stories before. No car is ever the same after a rebuild and multiple problems occur afterwards. The OP is better off just buying another car.

    Thinking of buying a car

I would get a second opinion on that blown engine diagnosis. This aint the 1970s when a car's life expectancy was 100K and engines start blowing up. Unless you have abused the vehicle and not performed maintenance on it, cars (even those made in 2004) should not be blowing engines. Side note: Stay away from that mustang. Mustangs and Camaros suck in the snow. My 16 year old drives a mustang and its useless with a couple of inches of snow on the ground. Get a Cadillac DTS if you wanna be cool. They can be had for about 10 grand and is not a chick car/ kid car like the ford Mustang.

    CBD Oil

Well, I tried the half dose morning/ half dose afternoon shot today and got minimal results. I will change back to the full dose tomorrow morning and roll like that from here on out. The gal at the CBD store says u cant O.D. on this stuff and you can double down on shots taken, but at 65 bucks a bottle I'll pass. I don't make a million dollars a year like everyone of you on the bored do. My negative experience today has kinda soured me a bit. Keep in mind, I didn't buy this oil at a dispensary. Just a small brick and mortar shop in town. I was also told by a buddy that the CBD Oils in Colorado dispensary shops are made with actual MJ and THC in the bottle are about 20 bucks a bottle cheaper than the stuff I'm currently buying. How focked up is that? Since my job requires me to be on a random quarterly UA program, I cant get the good stuff even if I wanted to. Rats Arse either way for me, muchachos.

    CBD Oil

An oil derived from the cannabis plant with no THC in it. We got a store in town peddling this stuff. Suppose to do wonders for chronic back pain and other ailments. Anyone ever try it?

    CBD Oil

The stuff I got is called CBD American Shaman. The ingredient on the backside of the bottle in fine print says that its 100 percent organic full spectrum hemp oil. Im a little disappointed because it seemed to wear off at about 3pm today. I took the full dose at roughly 5:30am this morning. Im going to try and do the recommended half dose tomorrow morning and another half dose mid afternoon to see if itll last longer. I also dont know if I need to be on this for an extended period of time to keep it flowing in my system. (a week maybe?) to achieve maximum results. I dont think this hemp oil is suppose to cure me. Its just suppose to mask the pain. I'll keep you guys posted on my results throughout the week. Stay tuned...

    CBD Oil

So I stopped by last nite after work and talked to the gal running the place. I was a bit skeptical so she offered me a free sample and told me to give it a good 10 minutes for it to kick in. It probably took more like 15 minutes and I must say it worked pretty focking good. Did it knock out the pain entirely? No. But it felt about 80 percent better than I did when I walked in. I put some drops in my coffee this morning and feel like a champ already. The key for me will be how long it will last me throughout the day. The gal told me I could take a full dose in the morning or or half dose in the morning and half late afternoon. I'll try both and see what works best. I live in southwest Kansas (about an hour and a half from the Colorado border) Pueblo is a recreational town that's 3 1/2 hours from the house. Not too far but still a decent sized road trip, round trip. I left the bottle at home so I cant tell you the exact brand of what it is. I'll try and post again later this evening to give u the details. Side note: The gal I spoke to was very informative/ knowledgeable and not pushy at all

    CBD Oil

They're selling the stuff in a bottle that's the size of a small eye drop looking container for 65 bucks. Ive had chronic back pain daily for the past 5 years and am to the point where I'll try anything for relief. I will prolly stop by tonite and get it. I can give u guys an update to see if its worth a crap.
