We are in a standard scoring auction league ($200 budget) where the keeper costs are inflated approximately 25% every year. I'm already keeping LeSean McCoy, Jordan Howard, and Dez. I can keep 1 more player and I'm struggling with the choice of future upside vs. help next year. Who would you keep from the following. Travis Kelce $20 Allen Robinson $10 Keenan Allen $2 Ameer Abdullah $2 Derek Henry $2 I am leaning toward Allen, but the potential of a future RB1 in Henry is tempting....

If you can keep them for multiple years, I would keep Luck..if only for this year, I would keep Ware to have a cheap backup rb, but I typically just grab a late TE and stream the position throughout the year.
-
I would definitely do this trade now! It is good in a normal situation, but if you can keep a young Ajai for a few more years, this is a steal for you
-
I would take Howard and either AJ or Jordy..... it seems that the rb's get weak at the end of the 3rd, so I would be sure to get one in the 1st or 2nd

We have an auction league that is a few years old and our league set up to allow up to 4 keepers. The first keeper gets a 10% increase, the 2nd gets a 20% increase, 3rd gets 30% increase, and 4th gets 40% increase. This has led to more of the upper level talent being put back into the auction each year as they get too expensive to keep without severely impacting your roster the next year.

Fournette & McCaffrey 2.0/The Pacific Pro League
loadedbrewer replied to Oriole8159's topic in FFToday Board
I don't think it is such a bad idea. There are a lot of players who try the college route only to find the school part isn't for them and drop (or fail) out in 1-2 years. And a lot more who play division 3 where there are no scholarships or are wanted by division 3 programs but don't have the financial backing to be able to go. This league would fill that void as well as providing an option for other kids who already know that they aren't cut out for college. A free college education would be a better option, but this is better than a low paying dead end job with no college education. -
If you plan on staying in a hotel in Green Bay, you better book a room today. There isn't an abundance of hotel rooms in GB and most of the decent hotels are filled within hours after the NFL schedule comes out.

I've been offered R. Rice and Jennings for Gore and L. Murphy. I'm really thin at WR, but I'm not sure I can let Gore go....what do you think?

I would much rather have the side with Schaub...not even close mine? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=372740

Why Does Everyone Say I am An Idiot For Making This Trade!
loadedbrewer replied to jim14's topic in A Little Help!
I think this is fairly close, but you are selling low on Colston and Garcon (although I'm sure he is a free agent in many leagues). If you aren't desperate for a win this week, I would pass on this trade and try to make a better deal after Williams and/or Colston have good weeks. Mine ? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=372740 -
NO WAY....Charles >>>>>> Harvin mine? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=372740

The only way I would do this is if you have no WR's. Forte isn't going to be anywhere near a top 10 rb. His receiving numbers are about to go down, since even Martz has to realize that his line needs some help, and his running numbers are awful. Forte's best days are past him this year Answer mine? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=372740

No way I would take either of these. Johnson and Petersen are a push....Mathews is going to be better than Benson in a ppr league, and Wayne is better than Johnson...but not that much. Answer mine? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=372740

I need to win this week to have any chance at the playoffs. I need a wr and have Housh and Bowe on my roster, but Ginn is also available. Who would you start?
-
I would hedge my bets with him. I would start Cassel in league 1 since I think Sage sucks. I would start Orton in league 2 since the Bears won't be able to run vs. the Vikings. answer mine? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=334704

I would start Stewart. I live in Green Bay and they are calling for snow Sunday. Carolina's pass offense has been pretty bad lately and GB's run defense is awful. Please answer mine.. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=334704

4th & 13? Do the Redskins even run a route longer than 8 yards?
-
Watching this game I feel like an idiot for drafting him. It seems like Zorn didn't watch any of the redskin games from last year and doesn't realize he is pretty good..... Painful
-
I would get Cutler&Ward for J. Lewis & Galloway. I rarely start either of the guys I'm giving up, and don't currently have a backup qb. I'm only considering this because I think Ward may be good again after he gets healthy. The current roster is QB Hasselbeck RB Gore, D. Ward, B. Jacobs, J. Lewis, M. Lynch WR CJ, J. Walker, D. Bowe, Galloway TE D. Clark K Folk D Ariz Thanks

have you seen mia's d? they are terrible and with a banged up rb ANDERSON is the obvious choice. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=295026
-
don't do it, Lynch is by far the best player in this trade and Colston sucks! http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=295026
-
hasselbeck. Culpepper only threw for about 75 yards last game and that was against MIA. He won't do well this week. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=295026

If I was in your situation, I would do it. You are in REALLY bad shape with your RB's, and Rudi would be a huge upgrade when he comes back. And who knows, maybe evens will pick it up eventually. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=295026

Plaxico, Gore, Garcia for Romo/McGahee/Reggie Brown?
loadedbrewer replied to Dakkon79's topic in A Little Help!
Hell yea I would do it. I have Gore, and I would trade him tomorrow if I could get value like this!! You are probably getting the 2 best players in this trade. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=295026 -
I'm a Packer Homer, and there is no way I would pick Favre between the 2. If Joey Harrington can put up 400+ yards against the Pack D, anyone can!!
