    Who to keep?

I would keep Bell. He should do very well with Mike Martz this season. Jackson STILL can not run due to his turf toe. I don't trust him at all. I would have no problem going with Tatum Bell over Jackson. JMHO.

    in need of a QB

I agree with everyone else. Big Ben is not going to be the answer to your QB dilemma. He would be a good back up, but I would not want to go to war with him week to week. If you choose to dangle Rudi as trade bait you should be able to get a better offer (since you are willing to trade him anyway).
  3. I would definitely rather have Branch, the WR1 for Seattle and Vince Young, the big upside guy with good wheels and a good arm. Who knows what the future holds for K Jones? Reggie Brown is good but I would give Branch the slight edge. JMHO.

    Keeper league, Vick owner. =(

I would dump Vick and go for Kitna. Kitna is roughly the 6th-9th highest QB going into this season. He is in a Mike Martz offense and has great WRs to throw to. Even if the Lions suck in real lfe, Kitna will be throwing even more if/when they are plaing from behind. You are very solid at your other positions. Don't "give away the farm" due to Vick being a schmuck.

    Rate My Team

I hate to be negative, but I am not fond of your team. In a 10 teamer you should be more solid. You don't really have any standouts, top players at any positions. Your best QB is ranked QB12-15 at best. Out of 5 RBs you only have 2 starters, and they are solid but not super. Your WRs are pretty good. I also like Vernon Davis, but he is a big boom or bust candidate for this year. Defenses are alright. I guess there is just nothing that stands out about your team. Nothing to get excited about. JMHO.

    Am I Crazy

Take the deal. You can still watch Palmer on Sundays even if you don't own him.

    Tips for Auction Dynasty Draft?

Be advised that the prices for players will likely go higher than you think they should. Be prepared to pay for the stud players that will be the cornerstones of your team. You will want to drop out of the bidding on a certain player that you really want, but make sure that you can get a comparable replacement and also not hate yourself for letting a stud player get away from you. I would say that you will need 2 or 3 stud players to have a competitive team. There will be several mid-level players and "dollar" players that will round out your team. Keep in mind that noone will have a team of studs in an auction format. You will be alright if you get the 2-3 players that you really like.

Just watched Day in Life Jeff Garcia

    Anybody got a pic?
  10. Should Sammy Morris be one of the first back-ups taken?? If Maroney misses time, Morris will be the starter and the beneficiary to all of those touches that Maroney should have gotten!!

Defense Team By Committee (DTBC) for 2007

Robb, maybe I haven't spent enough time reviewing your system, but it seems complicated for me... What would be a beter combo - SD/Pitt or SD/Indi?? Thanks.

How does a SD/Pitt combo look?

Good job, robb. Appreciate you sharing with the rest of us!
  15. I heard an interesting rumor last night that Jake Plummer'r rights might be traded to a team that he would be willing to play for. I don't recall which team the guy said was interested. I have not seen ANY news concerning Plummer recently. Anyone have any info??

    position battles....who will win?

Norwood over Dunn. Norwood did GREAT last year every time he had a chance He has bulked up and is as close to a power back as ATL has right now. He sould have every opportunity to shine. Dunn is done. Jackson over Morency. I read an article on these guys today. They are both 5'10" and weigh 212 pounds. Why would Green Bay draft a guy that is the EXACT same size as the best RB that they already have??? It sure isn't because they want to go with their existing RB... AP over Chester. Chester will be the official "starter" when the season begins. AP will steadily get more and more playing time. AP should be the clear RB1 for next year, Chester might even be gone. JMHO

    RBs NOT ON THE RADAR!

I would take McGahee. He is a more proven back in a system that wants to pound the ball. Benson comes i second because he is also i a system that wants to run alot. The problem is that Benson is not a proven commodity. Ronnie Brown is a semi-proven commodity but stuck in a craptastic offense.

    Cedric Houston

Does this sound about right to everyone else??
  19. Smokin'!!

    Cedric Houston

Is Cedric Houston the clear RB2 for the Jets? Could he also be considered the goal line back? What is his value in a keeper/dynasty league? I am trying to compare his value to the "non-elite" rookie RBs ie;Tony Hunt, Garrett Wolfe, Lorenzo Booker, etc. I could either keep Houston or roll the dice on one of this type of rookie RB.
  20. Smokin'!!

    Cedric Houston

I think that Kenny Irons has a future - Rudi can't last forever! Kolby Smith is favored to back up LJ - the Chiefs half-heartedly shopped LJ this off season. Smith could have a future. Lorenzo Booker - isn't he just a change of pace back?? Brian Leonard has skills but would you ever really consider starting him??? I don't think so... Garrett Wolfe - I think Adrian Peterson will be the RB2 in Chicago. If Cedric Houston is clearly behind TJ, then I think he has value. If Leon Washington is the RB2, then I could much more easily drop Houston and go with one of prospect rookie RBs this year.

    Cedric Houston

Would you rather have an RB like Brian Leonard, Kenny Irons, Tony Hunt, Antonio Pittman, Kolby Smith, or Lorenzo Booker instead of Cedric Houston? I am in a deep league where I can keep 5-6 RBs and am looking for someone with some potential. Cedric looked good in spot action last year and I am not in a hurry to drop him unless I can get somene with better skills or in a better situation.

    Rank the D's

I think Pittsburgh should be right around #5 or so...
  23. Smokin'!!

    DeDe Dorsey

The Colts didn't do anything in free agency or in the draft to replace The Pisser. Is Dorsey the RB2 at this time? Maybe the Colts think he made progress last year and is now ready for an increased workload. Any homer info??

    DeDe Dorsey

I think they still have James Mungro...
  25. Smokin'!!

    Marcel Shipp

What is the chance of Edge breaking down with a renewed emphasis on the running game? Would it be worth it to pick up Shipp off the ww if I don't own Edge?
