In my keeper league, the guy I'm playing this week has Brees, Chris Johnson, Andre Johnson, and Fred Jackson blowing up for him. Not to mention Gates is still going and he has the Dolphins DST.

playing fantasy football with a woman is like playing poker with them.... not fun.... they should be making finger foods for our few hours of fun the milk's gone bad beeches!

Norwood involved on long 3rd downs = more rest for Turner = most production from Turner

I once farted on the set of blue lagoon. <slap>

Has anyone else done this? LT too high of a reach ahead of the likes of Turner? He's a healthy 30 with a much easier schedule than ATL? One down season shows a "decline" in his fantasy value, but he could reemerge as a top 5 like a few other RBs have done in the past.
-
What if you were keeping Forte and Calvin? Would you take Brady in the 1st round or lock up the RB position with Turner or Andre Johnson, Fitz, or Moss to have 2/3 WR slots filled? Having a tough decision here with my keeper league.

Standard scoring, 6pts TD. 2 RB, 3 WR Picking second with ADP (going #1 overall), Gore, Brees, Rivers, Manning, MJD, Chris Johnson, Slaton being the top guys off the board. I'm keeping Forte (9th round) and Megatron (3rd round). I have the 2nd and 16th overall pick. Do I draft Brady to set a great foundation of top QB-RB-WR and take a WR with Jennings/Boldin/Colston talent in the 2nd round? Go for Turner-Forte combo? DeAngello, LT, SJaxx, Jacobs, Portis, MBIII and a few others still available Or go for either Andre, Fitz, or Randy Moss as my 2nd WR Was leaning towards Brady and a WR in the 2nd then picking my 2nd RB with LJ/McFadden tier in the 4th? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

I did the QB-WR combo in my last weeks draft and was happy with my results QB - Aaron Rodgers RB - Matt Forte RB - Larry Johnson WR - Greg Jennings WR - DeSean Jackson WR - Bernard Berrian TE - Jeremy Shockey DST - Bears

10-team league. Standard scoring. 1-QB, 2-RB, 3-WR, 1-TE, 1K, 1DST I'm keeping Forte and Calvin Johnson. I have the 2nd overall pick with ADP going 1st. Should I draft a 2nd stud RB in Turner and lock up the position or go for Fitz/Andre/Moss or Brees/Brady and then go for my 2nd RB in the later rounds? Any advice is helpful. Leave a link and I'll answer yours. Thanks

hass has a lot of weapons in Seattle this year. I like him a lot as a light round QB and would be happy taking him as my starting QB for the risk-reward. Bulger is hurt again and Russel has on Oakland. Delhomme could be a decent start for you as well, but dont expect big games.

Sjaxx, DeAngello, Westbrook, LT, Jacobs, Portis, Gore and most of the big names are avail. I believe Slaton, MJDIII, Brown, ADP, Stewart, Thomas Jones are those that won't be available. All of the big WRs are avail and the top QBs.

Can't decide on this one. It'll come down to a coin flip for me on Saturday I'm liking Matt Forte @ CAR over Marshawn Lynch @ JAX

Need any advice if possible as it's greatly appreciated! 10team league with 2 keepers from the year before. I'm keeping Portis in the 2nd and Lynch in the 6th. Lots of WRs have are being kept this year. We start 2 RBs and 3 WRs. I have the 3rd overall pick, which I'm trading to the #9 guy (who kept 2 WRs Edwards/Welker). I'm staying with my 3rd over all pick, but giving up my 1st/4th round for his 1st/3rd round. No players are being kept in the 1st round and 3WRs/Brady being kept in the 2nd round. Only 4 RBs total are being kept from the year before (Lewis, Portis, Lynch, ADP). Do I go with picking Peyton in the 9th hole or take the best WR since we start 3 WRs? Was thinking Peyton, then taking best WR/WR in the 3rd with bot my picks or should I just lock up 3 WRs with my 1st/3rd/3rd pick Theres are the best WRs on the board. Most the stud RBs are available (Westbrook, LT, SJaxx, Addai, Gore) Wayne Marshall Holt Steve Smith(Car) Roy Williams Jennings Burress Cotchery White Boldin Moss Calvin Johnson Evans Ward Driver Galloway Harrison and pretty much everyone else around those draft areas. Peyton or go with Wayne? Thanks for the help!

So the colt's strategy is to rest Sorgi for 2 full weeks with no action before they start the season? I highly doubt it..... They already know who their 1st/2nd starters are. They have to make cuts with 2 quarterbacks left to watch.

Michael Turner in the 9th and Calvin Johnson in the 7th.... Even for a 10-team league thats beyond their ADP. Whod you draft with and ask them if they have any other open leagues I can join. 1. (6) Joseph Addai 2. (15) Marshawn Lynch 3. (26) Andre Johnson 4. (35) Santonio Holmes 5. (46) Jeremy Shockey 6. (55) Thomas Jones 7. (66) Calvin Johnson 8. (75) Matt Hasselbeck 9. (86) Michael Turner 10. (95) Anthony Gonzalez 11. (106) Aaron Rodgers 12. (115) Sidney Rice 13. (126) Green Bay 14. (135) Rashard Mendenhall 15. (146) Steve Slaton

I'd make the trade. upgrading RB, but dropping WR. Like someone mentioned before, I like Edwards, but he won't put up the same #s as he did last year. He's probably got the hardest schedule in the league compared to other WRs. You'd have to pick some WW gems though as your RBs would be carrying your team.

Was invited to do a 12-team PPR league. 1pt per reception. I have the 11th pick. QBs also get .5pts per completion I've always done keeper/redrafts with standard scoring in which I've NEVER done a PPR draft before. Should I take a RB like Bush at 11 over Lynch or LJ? Was going to go RB/WR in the 1st/2nd since this is a passing friendly league. ANY advice would be greatly appreciated! Leave a link and I'll answer yours as well.

Was this post originally intended for Auctions or redrafts? Auctions I'll agree that he's not worth #2 overall, but with redrafts, he is worth it. Every running back is going to have some bit of a risk to him this year. SJaxx - heldout Addai - who knows if Peytons not healthy Westbrook - always a concern by never playing in a full season MBIII - never ran the load for a full season yet. last year when he had the rock over 15 times a game, he avg'd 2.1ypc with 2 touchdowns? My point is, you have to take the most talented rb with the best situation. ADP is behind one of the best, if not the best o-lines. Young, stronger and faster, with a favorable matchup than most other RBs, I'd gladly take him over other RBs at the #2 position.
-
It's not the fact that he'll sign and miss no games, which'll most likely happen. It's the fact he's on perhaps the worst team in the league and hasn't been participating with his team which is why he's dropping?.... That'd be my guess ala LJ last year

Witten Coles Marshall JJones In that order

I loved Meth's theory of drafting 2 TEs back to back with the 5th/6th round? "Antonio needs a backup because his toes hurt" Thank god for weed!

In my Keeper League, we always done in South Florida where we all went to med school. We all graduated and moved back to our hometowns throughout the country. So where do we meet for our draft now? VEGAS BABY! ;D winner winner chicken dinner! first draft we're doing like this

The links were great, but a "sure" 2nd overall pick that's going in 95% of leagues not mentioned in the top 10? There are valid points, but this is ADP we're talking about. Minny didnt give him the ball right away in the rookie year; they slowly built him up. He's due for a great year as Minny only improved over the offseason..
