    Keeper Help

Having a hard time deciding between R. Wilson in 14th rd or M. Ingram in the 13rd rd. Leaning towards Wilson because of how high his ceiling is this year, but it's hard to pass up on a RB they predict to be a top 15 (even with Spiller in the mix). Standard scoring 6pts for TDs, bonus for 100+ yards run or 300+ yards thrown. Start 1 QB, 2 RBs, 3 WRs. Already keeping M. Evans in the 8th. Any insight would be appreciated and will respond to your posts. Thanks for the help!

    Marshawn Lynch

Actually, Lynch got paid before the start of last season in March of 2012. He followed up with his best year. The whole "he got paid" thing with Lynch isn't and shouldn't be a factor when drafting him. Good analysis though...

    I just drafted..

McFadden toward the end of the 2nd and Mathews towards the end of the 4th? Rashard in the 13th? Who do you play with? Let me know when there's a slot open. You're stealing their $. Solid team

    Brady or Brees?

I'd go with Brees as well. It's obviously a toss up as it comes down to your own preference, but I think Brees is a better pick. NO will be throwing throughout the whole game. Their running game is also their passing game. Also, look at the attempts thrown by both Brees and Brady over the past three years and Brees has always won. NE has the O-Line problems that will work itself out, but just isn't right now. Brees has looked flawless in each of his three preseason starts (yes, I know its only preseason). NE seems to play a little more conservative once they have a lead while NO is still passing. Those who are afraid of Brees and not having Payton? I believe their interim head coach called the plays for Brees two games last year and Brees had over 400+ yards in those games. Everyone is doubting is NO this year, which is another reason I'd go with Brees. The same thing happened with NE in the spy gate in 2007. Brady went out and threw for over 50 TDs that year after everyone said NE was nothing before their scandal.

    Donald Brown

Is anyone else viewing him as a solid #3 with the upside as being a potential #2 starter with each week? Theres always been hype about him since entering the league, but hasn't proven himself with Addai. This could be his year.

    Wallace vs Felix the Cat

Been asking around to my friends about which player to keep. It's been pretty much 50/50 10-team league. Can keep 2. 2RB-3WR format. Already keeping McFadden in the 11th, but also drafted Wallace in the 6th and Felix Jones in the 9th. Both are great value for the ADP. Everyone knows Wallace's potential, but Dallas is expecting big things from Felix. Leaning towards Wallace, but seeing Felix in the 9th is intriguing. Would you risk having McFadden/Jones as your top 2 RBs and go WR/QB heavy with the first 3 picks? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Leave a message

Ray Rice climbing up my draftboard

Sounds like the #3 guy had a mancrush for Vick or Rodgers.

    Wallace vs Felix

I want to apologize for being on this board, but I'm pretty desperate. Been asking around to my friends about which player to keep. 10-team league. Can keep 2. 2RB-3WR format. Wallace vs Felix

You can only keep two players for one year from the previous years draft. I wouldn't say I need as much "help" as you're referring to. Wallace in the 5-7 was his ADP last year, as was Felix Jones. Landing McFadden in the 11th was also where he was going in most drafts last year. No one expected him to finally wake up.

    AP at #1?

PPR should def be Rice/Foster over AP. When it comes to standards, you can't be wrong with either of the three. Personally I'm putting Rice over AP & Foster for standard leagues... Sound stupid, but the ceiling is much more higher at this time for Rice. There's too many positive signs in his favor. What killed him last year was McGahee. What killed him early on in this year was bringing in Ricky to replace McGahee, but when their coaching staff is saying they'll let Rice run wild as long as he wants? You can almost bet he'll be in there for every TD chance he can get! 1800 total yardage with 12+ TDs

    Ray Rice

Please tell me that I'm not the only one thinking that Rice will be a better pick than ADP/Foster? Granted Run Ricky Run is in Baltimore, but he's what now? 35? Cameron is already saying that Rice is going to be running "until he's tired", so Rice will be calling the shots on his availability. Also given the great O-line and easy schedule, has anyone "considered" or actually drafted Rice #1 overall?

    Ray Rice

1st overall for a PPR or standard?
  13. BeeefyTaco

Whats your top WR out of?

You have Turner, Peterson, & Rice on the same squad?...

Anyone draft from 8 hole in non-PPR league yet?

I just did my yearly non-PPR redraft 12 teams 2RBs/3WRs/QB/TE/K/DST. I was drafting from the 8th hole. I got Ray Rice... I know, I know... I was more shocked than anyone. Guy at #4 didn't want Rice and took Gore instead. Guy at 5 wanted Turner instead of Rice. #6 Brees and #7 Rodgers. My team looks like this: QB - Brady (3) RB - Rice (1) RB - Charles (4) WR - Wayne (2) WR - Housh (5) WR - Ward (7) TE - Heath Miller K - Who cares DST - Steelers (12) BN - Jon Stewart (6), Mike Williams, Meachem, Matt Ryan, Ricky Williams, McGahee, and Lance Moore

    Larry Fitzgeralds Bling

I bet he got those earrings in a quarter machine from publix. They cover his whole ear...

Just got my team! drafted 8th

Crappy.... Henne as your QB and two guys who'll tear their ACLs by week two. 85 and TO are gonna have a fued. Wish you were in my league. Esp drafting from #8? You took Mendenhall in the 1st? He would've been there in the 2nd.

    Keeper League

Standard 10-team league with QB, RB, RB, WR, WR WR, TE, K, DST. Able to keep two players, but having a hard time on which I should hold onto. 12-Ahmad Bradshaw 14-Michael Crabtree 15-Jerome Harrison I was leaning towards Bradshaw and Crabtree, but with Harrison not having too much competition with Modestry being hurt; Harrison looks a bit appealing as well.... Leave your link and I'll answer yours! Thanks for the help

    Moss or D-Will

I'm gonna agree on taking Moss. DeAngelo may even be there at #13 for you... I'd go with him and if you can't, I'd go with another stud WR then go RB/RB in 3rd/4th. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=367377

    rate my draft

Grant falling to the mid/late 3rd is shocking, but great for you. Solid #2RB with upside to be a #1. I would've taking McCoy at 4 as well. Sims as your #2 and you can pick up a #3 WR off WW if needed. You're balanced nicely with Rodgers leading the way! http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=367377
  20. BeeefyTaco

Keepers are Easy - Round 3 is Not!

I'd go with Option A due to the fact you'll be solid at QB and RBs. WRs are always on the WW that you can pick up if needed. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=367377

    Ahmad Bradshaw

Have you not seen Jacobs last seasons on goal-line carries? I was a proud owner to be disgruntled after a few games of this beast. 1st and goal from the 3. 2nd and goal from the 2. 3rd and goal = TD! Only to have pulled Jacobs after the 1st and 2nd down for Bradshaw to take it home on 3rd. Bradshaw will have much more upside than Jacobs this year; however, this will keep Jacobs a little more fresh to keep him back as a bruiser.

    may we discuss shonn greene?

And it's like String was saying earlier about T-Jones. LT is a better back all around and will benefit much better than T-Jones did given the chance. LT had one down year last year behind a banged up o-line in an offense that was pass happy and still managed 10+ TDs? I like Green a lot, but the fact of LT there as a change of pace will give him around 1100 total yards (well rushing since he doesn't catch) and 4 TDs.

    may we discuss shonn greene?

Green to me is a more of a risk-reward type back. If you're in a 10-team league and he's there in the 2nd round, I'd let him go. Sure he can blow up and I'd be laughed at later on in the year, but I've been burned the past few years with a risk-reward type guy as Green/Charles/Matthews is this year (going late 1st/early 2nd round). Give me stability. I'd rather use my first few picks and take Andre Johnson, Randy Moss, Roddy White, Brees, Manning over them and wait for the 3rd/4th Rd to get a McCoy/Stewart/Felix Jones/Portis, etc

    Drafting Positions

I'm currently holding the 8th spot out of a 12-team standard format with 2 RBs and 3 WRs. I've been offered to trade outright with the 3rd and 5th positions. I'm having a hard time deciding if I should stay with the 8th overall and go for someone like D. Williams or move up to 3rd for MJD or even the 5th for Turner/Gore? The 3rd and 5th team have said they want to move down to get a better 2nd round choice. I've done a few mocks, but any insight would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

    Late first round picks

Not sure who's done a few mock drafts, but the WR field is a little more scarce than the RBs. Once the elite "powerhouse" RBs are off the board in the early to mid first round, you should consider going for Andre, Moss, DJaxx, Wayne type WRs in the late first/early second. Anyone else planning on going this route? It paid dividends last season to a bunch of teams going Andre/Fitz/Moss then RB/RB 3-4 rounds.
