Picking flex --- Jordy or Stacy?

Hey all, would really appreciate the help this week. We start 2 RB/3 WR/1 flex I have the following Stacy, Andre Brown, Lacy, Ellington DeSean, Jordy, Burleson, Shorts, Fitz, Crabtree Reed, L. Green I'm leaning toward starting Stacy, Brown, Lacy, DeSean, Burleson, Fitz, and Reed, but am really having a tough time picking this week with the GB QB situation and potential for Stacy to be out. I would like to start Jordy if Stacy's not available, but the schedule makes that decision difficult. Any thoughts? Thanks!

I think you mean Arizona at +14.5... If you have ASU at +14.5, I want in on that.

OSU in their last eleven against the Cardinal - 9-2 ATS. Stanford has been abysmal ATS at home, going in the neighborhood of 3 of 11. Gotta take OSU and the points. Though their defense lost the front seven, they rotated in eight defensive linemen and six linebackers last year. There are still eight seniors on the defense. OSU -3 over Stanford.

Tonight I am starting Chris Weinke

I heard Aaron Brooks wrote the forward to that book.

    Derek Anderson?

I am going to openly admit my Oregon State bias. I watched Anderson in college and high school, and he is a leader. He threw a fifty yard touchdown bullet to the left back corner of the end zone while being chased to the right side of the field. He has the arm, smarts, and leadership to be successful. However, his decision-making was extremely questionable. If he would have stopped throwing picks in college, that would have been a great team in 2003 with Steven Jackson and Mike Hass.

    BCS smart in picking Florida

At that point the BCS was not in play and conference affiliations decided the bowl games. Florida didn't get a rematch; they were champions of their league and played in the Sugar Bowl as the SEC champion.

    Derek Anderson?

That 33-yard scramble was incredible... If he continues to play like this in Frye's absence, is the job his? Frye and Anderson are rougly the same age, and if the Bledsoe look-a-like continues to impress... does Crennel have to appoint a new starter? Anderson's college nickname: The Moose of Scapoose.

    BCS smart in picking Florida

I would like a "plus 1". If there was a playoff, would Michigan vs. Ohio State have had the same gigantic meaning? Would USC's loss to UCLA have meant anything? Without a playoff, teams put everything on the line each and every week. That is college football. The plus one system could eliminate this controversy. We would get an Ohio State-USC matchup. If done correctly, there could also be contingencies that make Florida and Michigan play in the Sugar Bowl.

    BCS smart in picking Florida

I am not comparing Florida and Michigan. I am merely saying that, by choosing Florida, the BCS chose the title game with the least controversy. If Michigan wins, Florida and Ohio State gripe about the system. If Florida wins, only Lloyd Carr is griping. As a fan of neither school, I am glad to see Florida in the title game.

Halo 3 Commercial To Air During Monday Night Football

Exactly. Playing Halo does not make you a Gamer. Spending twenty hours a week on World of Warcraft does. There is nothing wrong with some Madden and NCAA Football on Sunday morning.

    BCS smart in picking Florida

The reason that Florida was picked over Michigan is simple. What if the BCS had picked Michigan? Win or lose, Florida can complain that Michigan got two chances and the Gators never had a shot at the Buckeyes. Ohio State also has a gripe with a Michigan win. I can already see the sweatervest after a loss in Glendale. "We beat them once, we shouldn't have had to play them again." Because they picked Florida, if Florida loses, the BCS shrugs their collective shoulders. They can say that they gave another team a shot at Ohio State and the Buckeyes are the true champion. If Florida wins, the BCS can say that both teams got a shot at Ohio State and Florida beat them, while Michigan didn't.

Hey, getting ready to head off to the Civil War, Oregon at Oregon State. After Oregon's showing last week at home against Arizona, it makes Oregon State my pick. Don't forget, the home team has won in this series for nine years straight now, and I don't expect this trend to end. Oregon has looked soft and the weather will not be favorable for the Ducks, who have had problems playing in bad weather. Oregon State (-3)

4-2... not bad. Especially considering the parlay I had on Notre Dame and USC coming through.
