The bylaws posted at FFToday and the bylaws posted on the DNDL website are different. I was going by the DNDL bylaws when I awarded the rookie pick. The FFToday byways were dated from 2018. I imagine those are the newest since I took over the following year as commissioner. No time limit on the weekends. Clock starts at 8am Monday and he will have 12 hours to make a pick.

Technically you start the 12 hour timer at 8am EST. So you have until until 8pm EST Monday, August 17. A good way too piss the league off. kudos.

I have the start of the Rookie Draft on August 15th. Anyone have a problem with that?

The following is the setting for who is allowed to be put on Injured reserves through our league page. Currently we have it set to "IR". A player can only be put on Injured Reserve when his current official NFL Injury status is: None - A player may be put on IR at any time. IR IR or Out IR or Out or Doubtful IR or Out or Doubtful or Questionable We can also adjust the length of time a player may not be activated once he is placed on Injured Reserves. Currently we have it set to 7 days. Once put on IR, the player must not be activated for: 7 days. I think we change the IR roster spots to 10. Change the setting to who can be placed on IR to "None - Any Player may be put on IR at any time". Leave the 7 day waiting period for reactivating. No other restrictions/concessions need to be done I think. Discuss.

If the NFL cancels the season: All money for this year will instead be used for next year. That means no dues will need to be paid next year, just the website fee. That also means NO money will be paid out this year. That includes weekly high scores or division leaders. If the DNDL has completed 8 or more games, we will use the standings and all tiebreakers to ascertain the following years rookie draft. If 7 or fewer games are completed, we will use the same draft order as we are using this year.

yeah....so you are gonna have to tell me exactly what you are doing. you should be able to access Injured Reserve under the FOR OWNERS menu. Then just select the players you want to activate. you should be able to access the Drop Players under the FOR OWNERS menu. Then just select the players you want to drop. edit....I assume you are LOGGED IN as the owner?

Strange. Everyone else is able to drop players. Are you trying to drop someone on your IR list? Maybe they need to be on your active roster first. I suggest activating everyone from your IR list then try and drop players you wish to drop.

Once everyone gets to the 25 player roster limit, I will open up trading.

Let me know if you are alive and playing this year!!! I really dont want to play the "what if" game, nor try to invent a bunch of rules for stuff that may or may not happen. Gonna treat this year like any other year with maybe the only concession being adding a couple more IR spots. If half your team gets sick or twists an ankle, all the same to me. The only thing we need to really concern ourselves with is if the season is completely cancelled at some point after it begins. If this happens, this is what I propose we do: Obviously no playoffs can happen. We will use all COMPLETED weeks for records. Champion will be decided by best record and ensuing tie breakers. 2nd place to last place will be decided in the same manner. We can then use these standings for next years draft positioning. I will offer this though, I will pay for the league website and we can play this year for bragging rights only. No money involved. That way if something weird happens, we can just say oh well and no one really gets screwed.
