Sitting here drinking my coffee and have some time before I need to prepare for my day, so thought I would let you all know where I stand. Couple years ago, I enforced the draft timer rule with Vudu, and skipped his pick. Mayhem followed. Long story short, he quit the league because of that. fast forward to the next year, and Taco Breath doesn't show on time for the draft. Based on the previous year, I put on the kid gloves and and gave Taco time to get here and make his pick. Dream Wreckers quit because I didn't enforce the league rules. damned if I do.....damned if I don't. Now this year, we have Mmmm...Beer not happy with the rule of having to cut down to 25 before the draft. He wants to cut down from 30 minus total draft picks. We have a discussion, and after threatening to quit the league, he makes the cuts with the knowledge we will have a discussion/vote on the rule for next year. Now MtSkiBum does the exact same thing, but does not make the cuts prior to the draft and threatens to quit. I can call for punitive action to be taken towards MtSkiBum, and more than likely lose him as an owner, which I would hate because I like him as a person and owner. I can let it slide, and piss the hell out of Mmmm...Beer (which is a totally justified reaction) and jeopardize losing him as an owner, which I would hate because I like him as a person and owner too. damned if I do.....damned if I don't. Honestly, I am not sure what to do. But what I am sure of, is this kind of happening every year is seriously wearing thin with me. So WHAT am I gonna do? I am doing nothing. I am not making another decision/determination about this league. You all need to have a discussion on how you want this league run. Either by the books with set penalties for infractions or by the seat of our pants and deal with anything as it happens. Once you all figure that out, you can tell me. What you all decide will be how I run this league.......if there is a league to run after this.

Looks like we are gonna wrap this draft up pretty quickly. As long as we finish before the 27th.... first Waivers run will start Wednesday the 27th.

I do not recall someone being skipped and you not drafting until it got resolved. Hard to believe I would have not supported that action.

I am displeased that you did not make cuts to 25. Not fair to everyone else. You need to drop 3 players before the first waivers / start of season, whichever comes first.

I have 30 players rostered right now, and I am on the clock. So that does not seem the reason. Not sure to be honest. Edit: Maybe because he had pre-drafted that caused it to skip him because it would have made his roster invalid. SO, now I think you are mostly right. I bet if I made a pick right now, it would skip it too.

This is correct. You need to be at 25 players. We are going to be discussing this very rule this year to see if we want to change it. But for now, it is 25 players no matter what.

Did either Sux or Kutulu reach out to BLS? Probably gonna have to push the draft back anyway. Just to give a new owner a bit of time to prepare.

So, no response from Taco. We can either push the draft back another week, or see if we can find a replacement. Thoughts?
