    In dynasty?

No way I would offer that.

Who is to say Kenneth Walker isn't gonna be better than Johnathan Taylor going forward? He's having a better season this year and he's just been the starter for 2 games. I know Taylor has been injured but he's not exactly killing it when he's in there either. He's two years older and he's likely already had his best season.

Trevor Lawrence is still very young, and Jalen Hurts plays the kind of style that won't last long. Hurts is hot right now, but he's far from a sure thing going forward.

Lamb, Waddle, or Higgins? These are 3 of the top young WR prospects and you're just giving one away.

No, I don't like this deal at all

Thanks for the analysis.  This is why I say it's a "sell high" scenario.  It's possible that over the next few weeks, Walker comes down to earth a little and JT gets healthy and starts putting up monster numbers again.  Then it would be impossible to pull of this trade and I'll have missed my window.  Very interesting.

  2. Looking to make this offer.  Let me know if I'm crazy.  This for a dynasty league where all the players involved can be kept indefinitely without losing draft picks or any nonsense like that. It's a standard (non-ppr) one QB league.

I offer Ken Walker III + one of these WRs; Lamb, Higgins or Waddle + Trevor Lawrence.

I get Jonathan Taylor + Jalen Hurts.

Obviously, there will be some wheeling and dealing but Justin's mock draft pieces don't include trades. It makes things simpler from a writing standpoint.

Understood.  My comment wasn't a reaction to Justin''s mock specifically just towards the consensus over all.  I realize this year's crop of QB is much weaker than last year's but I still find it hard to believe the best QB (debatable) will get out of the top 5, but you never know.   Maybe the Giants trade for Josh Rosen now that he's going to be available according to someone named Tony Pauline.

  4. The NFL has become a league where teams can get better or worse in a hurry.  Look at the Bears, 5-11 in 2017 and 12-4 in 2018 for example.  The Giants have a potential hall of fame WR and RB as well as quality pass catchers in Engram and Shepard.  If they can get even a decent QB, they could have one of the most explosive offenses in football for the next several years and as the Chiefs proved, if your offense is good enough, you can go far even with a mediocre defense.   There's no way I trade OBJ.  They could be a Super Bowl contender in no time.

  5. Someone is going to take him 1.1 in many leagues next year. Wont be me, but it will be like that year everyone took Rogers after he threw the 45 TDs.

Yeah, but that was Rodger's 4th year as the starter and he was 28 when he did that. Mahomes is going to throw 50 TDs (assuming he throws two on Sunday) in his first year as a starter at age 23. Imagine what he'll do with a full season under his belt. I wouldn't blame anyone for taking him 1.1 next year.

  6. This girl that started this is the same type of girl(s) that took down Bill Cosby-they want to hook up with them for a relationship so they can do the Kardashian thing-spreading everything especially their legs for the big $$$$$$$$$, but when they come to realize that "the boys" just want a good time for a night or 2, years later they scream that they were the victim. They get PO'ed because the HOE'in didn't work out for them and THEN they cash in with the lawsuits. Like I said earlier he will get signed-probably off season-and the 19 yr old "victim" will maybe start trolling KC baseball players.

Free The Cos! Free The Cos!

  7. The bottom line is that Derek Carr doesn't want to throw to Amari. Last year, Crabtree got more targets than Cooper despite playing in one less game and despite Cooper being the so called #1 receiver. So Crabtree's gone. Problem solved. Except that Jared Cook out targeted him 12 - 3 last night. Derek Carr DOES NOT want to throw the ball to Amari Cooper.

  8. Remember last year's Will Dissly? .......

Austin Hooper caught 2-of-2 targets for 128 yards and a touchdown in the Falcons' Week 1 win.

While it is concerning Hooper only drew the two looks, his playmaking ability was evident on his two catches with a powerful, stiff-arming 88-yard touchdown and another 40-yard gain where Julio Jones sprung him free by drawing loaded coverage. Hooper has an awful lot of potential, but he needs the Falcons to draw him up with a bigger role. He'll be a fringe TE1 in Week 2 versus Green Bay. Sun, Sep 10, 2017 04:24:00 PM

  9. Who feels insulted by this? And does it play into whether they get a job or not? And don't they get hype and freebies out of it?

I think the bigger thing to them is that most would prefer to be UDFA's so they are not associated with a single team.

Is this one of those everyone is a victim things to everyone who is driven by liberal agenda? Because that is political and not anything else.

I blame Obama. But seriously, whoever gets the tag, "Mr. Irrelevant" has to hear that term for the rest of their careers and probably, their lives. At first, their interviews start with, "How does it feel to be Mr. Irrelevant for 2018?" If they actually succeed, the story becomes, "He started out as Mr. Irrelevant, but now he's very relevant..." It's an annoying moniker they have to wear and I'm sure many of them could care less, but I agree with the OP that it's a stupid tradition, especially when you consider how many undrafted players would love to be that irrelevant.
