She translates Russian TV shows, which are mostly propaganda. It is just crazy the stuff they say on there. Cheering attacks on civilian infrastructure, proposing using nukes, etc. I tend to think if this is the stuff people are constantly fed, it has an effect on them.

I was hoping for a red wave so the Dems would stop being so insane with all the social stuff and focus on things that actually matter. Instead Repubs are greatly disappointed. Maybe they'll abandon Trump so some good will come of it, but I doubt it. Polls have consistrently been undersampled Republicans, but this time it went the other way. Kind of weird.

Ive read winter is actually an advantage to Russia. Mostly because they've destroyed civilian infrastructure in Ukraine, resulting in no water, power, and heat. Plus Republicans will be less likely to fund the war after midterms. I dont doubt the Ukrainian resolve, but they are in for a tough few months.

My hope is for a red wave that is so huge it forces Dems to reevaluate their priorities. They need to get back to things that actually affect people instead of screaming hysterically about abortion, trans rights, and race. I was slowly moving to the left for about a decade but they've just lost me with all this bullsh!t these last few years.

My only complaint of Gutekunst is he should've gone all in with Rodgers or trade him and rebuild, instead he did this 50/50 thing where they have Rodgers but they aren't loading up around him. I dont necessarily think this team needed to trade now as its most likely a lost season, but it could've been addressed prior to the start of the season.
