Bust. Philly was trying to trade up for Lamb, but failed. Ended up drafting a Wide Receiver who can't catch. So,even when healthy, he'll still have no hands.

Welp....who's rolling out Hollywood this week?
Shaymer replied to stonewall's topic in FFToday Board
I'm playing Hollywood Brown over DeDe Westbrook and Terry McLaugh... from WASH. -
End of draft, 15th round, I took Stills, but Ive been reading a lot of buzz about Albert Wilson as he's getting healthy and Stills is in the doghouse. Last WR on your roster, who would you rather have?
-
Zeke.... Then take Tony Pollard in the 1O-12th.
-
Cowboys. Maybe not 'sleeper' but will prolly far out perform their ranking... Also. Whoever faces the Texans. Their OLine blows.
-
Just outside the top group for cook. In the group with Connor, Chubb. and Mixon. Early 2nd imo.

If Kap doesn’t get a call from the Colts..
Shaymer replied to RedzoneMonster's topic in FFToday Board
Agreed. Kaps only value lies in not being in the NFL. -
Move Duke up a bit and draft Crockett later.
-
Need a qb. Which one for the rest of the season?
-
Its a push, but if I had to, i'd take Stafford.
-
Thanks.

PPR but bonus points for long scores.

Regardless of the question, the answer is to drop McFadden. Cowboys homer- Don't buy it. Its Randle and barely anyone else.
-
Just took Herron in the last round of my draft. Whatever. He's clearly the best back. Hope he gets a shot.

What is your take on the Eagles? Seeking out both Fans and NFC East opponents
Shaymer replied to LunaTick's topic in FFToday Board
Huge Cowboys fan- The Eagle's offense is scary good. Watching their offense is like hitting a hornets nest. I think Foles will come back to Earth a little. He will be forced in to making mistakes, but the offense will be explosive. The only concern is injuries and their defense, which is absolutely terrible. For fantasy purposes, it doesn't matter much. -
Dallas Homer- I go on the Cowboys blogs multiple times a day, reading hundreds of posts. Romo is a slight risk, but has a fantastic offensive line, will throw a lot, and has a ton of weapons. Say what you want about the guy, you're wrong. His 4th quarter QB rating cant be beat, and the team is almost entirely on his shoulders. He's going to throw and throw A LOT. He's got one of the best WRs in the game, a fantastic play caller in in Scott Linehan, will continually be let down by the worst D in the league, and has a lot to prove. Plus he's a warrior with Brandon Weadon behind him. If he can move, he will play. Romo's a top 5 fantasy QB. Don't buy the hate.

with $100, I'd go $30-40 on Morris and make Dwyer my second bid for equal price just in case I didn't get Morris. (Keeping in mind that the amount is increased greatly because you are thin at RB. If Morris or Dwyer would be starters on your team, I'd bid A LOT. I'd also put in a claim for Royster for a few bucks in case I landed morris. My 2 cents.
-
Yeah, but still worth a flier. Becomes more valuable to the guy that's got Garcon.
-
If there's a guy that improves your STARTING squad now, spend a bunch, like rediculous amounts on him. Then, right before you bid, add a little bit more and place your bid. Think of it as a regular auction draft. If Rice, Foster, McCoy, Rodgers, Brady, Megatron were all going for 25-30% of total salary, thats what you want to spend on Week 1 free agents. Example: Al Morris. He could be the best available RB. If he clearly would be a starter on your team, he's worth 25-30% of your available money. But because he's still risky, I'd also throw a little down to get Royster. If it's for bench or bye week replacements, cut that ammount at least in half and decrease as the season goes. Remember, unlike initially drafted players, FA waiver pick-ups and auction bids have EVERYTHING to do with need. The greater your need for a starter, the more critical it is to get the guy. Also, if there's another owner who's a wr away from being a monster, bid the hell out of that guy too.
-
If you want low risk, low reward, he's your guy. Perfect bye week fill in. Starks has shown nothing in a few years. I'd have Benson as a bench player.

Nobody falls faster than an NFL runningback. Guy runs for like 20000 yard one year, rushes for almost 300 yards in a game, then the bottom falls out and he's useless. He was listed as a starter, and nobody wants him. Same thing as LT- he's got 6 fantasy points in my ESPN leauge and the guy who owns him can't find a trade. NFL runningbacks are like batteries. They're fine, work great, then out of the blue, they're completely dead... and replaced.

Cowboy fan: Ironic that Dallas has fallen off the planet without TO. I was all for his release, but its funny how TO has hands of glue compared to Roy Williams. I think Edwards will bust his tail to prove himself on the field and will produce much more than Roy Williams has, but it still isn't saying much. Edwards may be a deep threat, but Sanchez isn't. There's no payoff for being open 40 yards down field if your quarterback can only throw it 35.

Played Farve last week. Sitting him this week and playing Romo. I know, the O in Romo stands for O touchdowns x2. Even though Farve is playing StL, I think they're gonna run the ball like crazy. KC's pass Defense is even worse than StL's. I think between Peterson and Jackson pounding the ball, there won't be enough passing to justify a start. But then again, Farve could easily throw a 70 bomb at any time, so who knows. He's better at 40 than anyone in history.
-
I've got them both on each of my two leagues. I'm on the fence too, but. Right now, week 1, I'm playing Felix. I think he's s safer bet for two reasons. 1. He's still going to get carries in the red zone 2. You know Romo's going to throw to him in the passing game. But are part timers, but Felix is the known commodity. So I'd go with Jones. May be switching that by week three though.

So I was thrilled with my choice of Kevin Smith as a 3rd RB in a 12 team TD only league with Fantasy veterans. This is our 17th year. So I'm thrilled cuz Smith was going to be a feature back that WASN'T going to lose goalline carries to someone else. So, I'm pumped... then I get home and learn that Rudi Johnson was in Detroit today talking to the Lions. Is he legitimately done or do you think he's going to steal time from Kevin Smith. I saw him going to Houston or Chicago, but not Detroit. Damn.
