    Torry Holt...

W/ Martz gone, I think they'll feature Jackson & do a lot of play action. This should decrease the pounding Bulger has taken over the last cpl of yrs. Play action should free up Holt w/ single coverage moreso than in previous yrs. Could see average yds per catch & TDs go up a bit. Think he's a great pickup.

    Terell Davis or Preist holmes

TD, but I'm somewhat of a homer since I live in Denver. Priest was deadly on screens. Still, TD was $ in the bank. He was the reason we got those 2 rings.

    Drafting FF QB's in 2006

How many of you have been bitten by Peyton in a title game because of diminished playing time? That being said, how can he not be the #1 QB on a draft card? Peyton Eli Hasselbeck Brady Warner McNabb Bulger Delhome Big Ben Green Palmer & Culpepper would be 4 & 5 but injury clouds it. Martz gets QBs killed. Bulger may not throw as much but guessing he'll be more effective, especially if they feature the run & play action off it. Warner gets a high ranking because of those WRs, Edge, & Denny.

    J. Walker new contract: 5 years, $40 Mil

Don't sell Walker short. He's a tremendous talent & only 27. And while I could never believe Shanahan wouldn't come into a season expecting to contend, this move, coupled w/ the ones to move up to get Cutler, has 2007 written all over it. Think Shanny finally realizes he won't win another title w/ Plummer at the helm. He falls apart when the burden of the win falls on his shoulders. He's good enough to get you there & put up decent #s in the regular season but that's it; otherwise, why not use the draft picks on support guys for him? If Walker's healthy, I say he hits the over. Hey, Denver gets a lot of milage off play action, he'll get opportunities galore w/ single coverage. I suspect he won't come into the season completely healthy but will get there. Say he's good-to-go somewhere around the 4th game, he's still got a decent shot at a 1000yds & 8-9Tds. As a Bronco fan, what I'm waiting for is the Cutler-Walker combo. Assuming he's not an attitude problem (Shanny won't tolerate it) & his injury doesn't take away his speed, he's here in 2007.

    early strategy question.

This is a tough call after Willis. It's between JJ & Deuce for me. Luv the Deuce but beginning to ? durability. Would wait to the last possible moment & try to track Deuce's progress as best you can. Coachspeak makes it tough to really know how valid reports are unless it becomes painfully obvious lol. If there are no 1st-tier RBs, I definitely take a TO-CJ-Fitz w/ 1 of those 1st rounders, maybe both.
