anyone have the stones to bench Colston?

Depending on other options, this really isn't an insane move at all.

    Jamal Lewis

ESPN's Adam Schefter confirms that Jamal Lewis was on the roster bubble leading up to Saturday, but Lewis made the Browns' roster. - "It'll be a very long year in Cleveland if Lewis is the lead back, and he definitely didn't earn a roster spot with dreadful preseason play. We still wouldn't rule out the Browns cutting Lewis before the season. His $2.4M salary will be guaranteed if he's on the Week 1 roster, and clearly he isn't worth it. Look for James Davis to end up leading Browns backs in touches in 2009. Sep. 5 - 6:27 pm et"

What can I do to improve my Wrs?

Even if Marshall isn't suspended, Royal will have the better year. Kyle Orton simply can not throw the ball down field, which is what Marshall does best. I live in Chicago and it was one thing we grew tired of really really quick with him. Chicago fans loved Orton for his neck beard, not his football skill. You need a WR1 or WR2 to give you some real nice looking WRs/depth. To some, Bowe is the top WR2 and to others he is right in the mix with Roddy White and Greg Jennings; depends on how you view him. You have a ton of WR3s and one of those could be packaged in some sort of deal. Do you start two TEs? If not trade Miller as well and maybe throw in Ray Rice or McCoy, although I love Rice this year. Some combo for a top ten WR or a guy like Wes Welker or Eddie Royal. You'd be giving up too much though if you settled for Welker/Royal.

    Schaub or Ryan in 7th?

Yeah, but when the comparison in schedule is this overwhelming it's hard to ignore. You're right though, a team like the Jags could find themselves a much better D all around. This is more of a factor to sway a pretty equal comparison one way or another.

    Cutler vs McNabb

McNabb easily. Cutler isn't even close to McNabb this year imo.

    BIG BIG TRADE

I would have rather traded colston and palmer for an upgraded qb like rogers

    Schaub or Ryan in 7th?

Let me preface my simple explanation with questions you are already answering in your post. Both have high octane offenses, and decent defenses. Long story short, these two are pretty much the same, according to you, in terms of talent, upside, etc. Now, I am a believer this year that Schaub will stay healthy for a 15 or 16 game season. That's a question you need to address. If you agree then I would go with Schaub. Look at the schedules. The Falcons play both East divisions this year where as they played both West last year. Just saying. Houston has a much easier schedule w/ games against jets, jags, zona, cinci, frisco, buffalo, jags, seattle, rams and phins. All of those teams were in at least the bottom half of pass defenses last year. The jags, hawks, rams and dolphins games are weeks 13, 14, 15, 16.

    Sproles or Bradshaw.....

I think Bradshaw has done enough to separate what we would categorize each player as. Bradshaw is now a solid RB3 while Sproles is arguably the top backup in the league. Bradshaw will turn this into more of a time share, imo, with probably something like a 65/35 split. Both are an injury away from being hands down starters, but LT will not yield as many carries to Sproles as Jacobs will to Bradshaw. As I type this, I think I remember seeing something about Jacobs getting injured? Anything serious? Bradshaw could arguably start for your team right now while I would have a tough time slotting Sproles in there.

    Darren McFadden over Larry Johnson?

Personally, I do not like either, but many would disagree with me on that due to all the Mcfadden talk. I have lightened up on my stance about Run DMC, going so far as to think I might be in a situation in my next two drafts this weekend to actually have to take him based on value. At any rate, I would say Run DMC is the lesser of the two evils. Both are on terrible teams, Run DMC lost O'Neal (an argument for him in many columns) and both will always be a headache, imo, come Sunday. Of course all of this goes away if Run DMC actually lives up to the hype surrounding him, top 15? please, so I guess it depends on what you think about that tier of RBs available v. what you have on your team at that point in value. But to answer your question, Run DMC.

    Roddy White vs. Greg Jennings

I'd be more worried about Gonzo taking touchdowns away from Turner in the red zone and more targets away from Jenkins. White has the potential to lead the NFL in a lot of categories, mainly yards. I'd take White as well over Jennings.

Yo Bears Die hards,,,, Earl Bennett ?

From and live in Chicago. The excitement is here for sure, but from what I understand he is not really running with the first team yet in practice. Pay attention to the game against the NYG on Saturday, but if the first game was an indication, Devin Hester will be seeing a lot of balls his way as long as he produces to an acceptable degree. If you can stash Bennett for the hell of it because of the potential go for it. He may be available when you need him, but at this point I would not bank on it.

Does Reggie Wayne have any deep speed left?

The guy who can't afford to lose a step is Torry Holt imo. At any rate, the only comment I can give is that Wayne has no one pressing him (at least not that I know of and Gonz. is bonafide #2) so he will be in there no matter what. He could also maintain value by becoming more of a possession receiver w/ breakaway speed as oppose to a true deep threat like Marshall, Moss, or Smith. Indy's schedule + Peyton Manning means Wayne will have every opportunity to finish in the top 5 of receiving in standard scoring leagues.

So say you have gone QB\RB in rounds 1 and 2...

Lets put it in terms of an actual draft: I have the 11th pick in a 14 man league and plan on going WR, if Fitz or AJ is there, and RB the next pick. I could also go the opposite way if certain RBs fall in my lap, but am definitely going RB/WR one way or another. With that in mind, I would go WR/WR. Using an example of drafting a WR with my first two picks puts emphasis on how important it is to have the WRs you can as possible. In the late 1st, early to mid 2nd, one can grab a really really good WR, despite the run that WILL happen in majority of drafts this year, and still have a top RB/QB or another WR. Now since you have gone QB and RB, you almost have to draft at least 1 WR. Depending on your scoring system (I am guessing no PPR), you could possibly nab two top WR2's in guys like Welker, Evans, D. Jackson, V. Jackson, OchoCinco, A. Gonzalez, TO (Maybe), Royal, Marshall, etc, etc. This depends on who is available, your draft pick relative to who is available, and who comes at the best value; but based on the emphasis "I have this, what should I have next," I say WR/WR. WRs are too important not to draft one until the fifth round. Even if you only start two WRs I personally want to have that many before the 5th.

    Chris Henry is exciting me

163.49 ADP according to mockdraftcentral.com = - Middle of the 11th Rd in 14 man league - Middle of the 13th Rd in 12 man league - Middle of the 16th Rd in 10 man league Personally, I am in all three types of leagues above and wouldn't have a problem nabbing him in the 9th for 12 and 14 man leagues; one could wait a bit longer in 10 man leagues. Anyone think he could outscore Chad in terms of fantasy points?

    Lorenzo Neal Waived by Raiders

One of the pros for Run DMC I have seen out there, on multiple sites actually, is how he now has a hard-nosed fullback to clear holes for him in Lorenzo Neal. This "pro" is now gone as the Raiders waived Neal today. How much does this hurt Run DMC? Personally, I am not as high on him as most others are simply because I had him on my team last year (he blew), believe in soph. slumps (to a degree), and loath the fact he is on the Raiders (last time I checked, they also blow). On a recent ESPN Podcast, Matthew Berry was arguing about how Oakland trying to run the ball all the time will be a good thing for Run DMC owners. This is true to a certain extent: this means he will see a lot of touches, but also means that if Oakland can't throw the ball, he will see 8 in the box all the time. Take a look at a guy like Michael Turner last year. We all know his talent and how many times he carried the ball in 2008. We also know that Turner's stats are inflated because he had monster games against soft teams and virtual no shows against tough opponents. Oakland's schedule is pretty damn tough this year and Run DMC is no Michael Turner. If Turner disappears during tough games and Run DMC is no comparison to Turner, wouldn't one think Run DMC is in for a long season based on what above average teams did against Turner? In other words, if Turner sees 8 in the box weekly and does phenomenal against cupcakes and average to below average against tough opponents, won't Run DMC have a harder time than Turner? Oakland plays KC twice, Denver twice, Cleveland, Cinci, and Houston. Those are the only teams I have as being "cupcakes" in terms of soft run def. The rest of the schedule looks like a nightmare and after all it is Oakland (not sure anyone can be called a cupcake when facing Oakland) At any rate, I will be one of the managers "experts" are grouping as guys who will let Run DMC fall and take Pierre Thomas, Derrick Ward or Kevin Smith instead.

    Percy Harvin: A solid WR2?

Seems like all the sources and sites have Percy Harvin killin' despite one of the worst QB situations in the league with the Vikes. Thoughts about this rook?

    RB2 Dilemma....Barber, Jacobs, or Portis?

I'd take MBIII saying I had at least 1 RB and 1WR at that point, but if it is your second overall pick I think you have to go WR.
