AMEN BROTHER. Purdy drew the short straw with having weapons. When's the last time Rodgers has been in a superbowl? Dude's getting love from past accomplishments which he deserves but this is a what have you done for me lately league. Rodgers may want to go the Ninets but pretty sure the 49ers dkn't want him unless it's in a backup role. Mr. Drama just needs to go on and sign with the Steelets so he can play in one more playoff game and lose. Steelers seem to be the only team at this point to want him. My 59ers don't want him OR need him.

That's all well and good so.I have to say I agree with you to a point. Purdy has established himself in San Fran. In his defense one season he rips his elbow apart in the NFC title game. He then went to a superbowl but the team just couldn't get over the hump. 2024 was a disastrous season for the Niners health wise. People.eill.say he's not that good simply because he was the last pick in the draft. Given all that along with all our injuries I'd say he's played pretty well. He has been worthy of a top 12 QB and his numbers shoe it. If we trade him.and get Rodgets I don't believe Aarkn is capable of winning the SB this year. Even if we would get an extra 1st rounder I'm not so sure there's a good enough QB to be had outside of Cam Ward. I don't think Sanders is the answer and U'd probably rather have Jaxson Dart but there again he's an unknown commodity to this point. Purdy IS capable of winning a superbowl but they need to put pieces around him given the exodus of multiple players of the 9ers this offseason. I'd rather they pay him and then take the best O-lineman at pick #11. I don't think winning the SB this year is out of the question but it's not likely to happen this year IMO. I trust that Lynch and company can make good draft picks and get this team back to being relevant again. If they draft well then I could certainly see a Lkmbardi trophy in the next 3 years and Purdy will be in his prime. Yes listen to the Steelers, if they sign Rodgers, but for God's sake let somebody else deal with his drama.

Plus Purdy doesn't bring a childish attitude to the table. Yes I get he's a 4 time MVP and that should come with some respect but he's a far cry.from those MVP days. He's an egotistical and narcissistic individual who thinks his own crap doesn't stink. Yet he's loving every.minute of the aggravation he's causes for teams and the media. This is his final attempt at trying to be relevant and.when all is said and done he knows he's just going to go on and retire. Teams are tired of kissing his backside to get a player that will not win them a superbowl. So I say the Rodgers era/drama is over and now we're just waiting for him to get one more chance in front of the camera to announce his retirement. Yes, if the Steelers were able to sign Rodgers and put together a package to get Purdy I think they'd jump at the chance to get him. I just hope it doesn't happen as.I'm fine with Purdy being our QB now and in the future. There have been other QBs to win a superbowl who I consider not as talented as Purdy but it takes more than a QB to win a title. It takes a whole yeam both offensively and defensively. If the 49ers put competent people around Purdy on offense and Saleh can help the defense then I surely think Purdy will win a superbowl.

Normally I would say that this deal could work but the problem I have with it is what to do with the 21st pick in the first round. Surely Ward is gone and likely that Shedeur Sanders is gone before pick 21. We'd have to have a plan in place in case Rodgers gets injured or completely falls flat on his face in terms of production. If we could take that 21st pick and move up some to take Jaxson Dart as I feel he could easily be gone by pick 21. Then there's still the chance that Rodgers plays better than average and gets then49ers into the playoffs. Yes he still has talent and 4 MVPs to his resume but he is 41 so I wonder if the talent he has left in the tank is worth risking just so he can play on the team he wanted to go to when he was drafted. In the end I would say NO to any deal for Rodgers and continue to roll with Purdy. If he fits Shanny's system then why not go with the guy you know can play. He did get himself to a superbowl so I'm pretty sure he's mega hungry and still has a sizeable Chipotle his shoulder to prove people wrong.

When I seen this on Facebook it was.speculated that the Steelers would give up their.1st round pick in exchange for Purdy and send Rodgers to the 49ers. Heck the Steelers haven't even signed Rodgers a d O think it'd be a bad.move for the 49ers with gettjng.Rodgers and pick #21. Don't like that scenario at all. Yes Purdy has developed but he'll go into the season with a bunch of previous players gone so I guess we'll see what he's made of then. Not sure if Aiyuk will be ready but they need.him badly. Hopefully CMC can stay healthy but that's a shaky situation. I do look for Ricky Pearsall to make a big leap this year. If we.can stay.healthy we can make some noise even without Rodgers and his traveling circus.

I know there is a lot of fake stuff on Facebook but I recently saw this this morning. Apparently Rodgers has expressed a strong desire to join the San Francisco 49ers. Geez, the saga continues. In Rodgers defense he has publicly stated he would have loved to be the 49ers QB as he was set to enter the draft. Back then I would have loved that as well. That year we had the #1 pick and the 49ers brass went back and forth on taking Rodgets or Alex Smith. We know how that turned out when the 9ers selected Alex Smith. Rodgers is a southern Cal boy, played college in Southern Cal . I wish the 49ers had drafted Roger's instead of Smith. Yet at this point I think there's zero chance he goes to the 49ers. He wants to be the starter and they are NOT going to jeopardize the development of Brock Purdy. So all this bru-haha that Rodgers has been instigating is just another ploy of his to try and hold the NFL hostage. Move on Aaron, we're all over your adolescent behavior.

Not so much that the Cowboys are trash I think it's more that Jerry Jones is. He's the puppet master and controls all the strings. Doubt if he'll ever change so their mess of a team will continue probably until the yeam changes ownership. He's adamant that he believes that his way is the best way. Sad, but in the early 90's they were really good and now they're just a shell of themselves. Maybe Jerry will have a come to Jesus moment but I wouldn't bet on it anytime soon.

Well if there's a bunch of trash teams I guess the league needs them so that there's some organizations who'll kick their atses consistently and hope that the fans like that scenario. Still it all starts at the topwith the team owners and management. If they are more concerned with making money and less concerned about putting a quality product on the field then those said trash organizations are gonna continue to blunder their way through season after season. So there's actually.some.orginizatikns who WANT to win, build a culture and provide their fanbase with a quality product. Alas, there's pretty much trash teams as well in some of the other major sports. It is what it is.

There seems to be a.decent amount.of.young talentedWRs in this class so they should be able to snag one with promise. Surely Dtake Maye would like to see them.get on ofnthe top graded receivers in this draft.

Yeah I'd laugh too if the Giants take him but pretty sure they won't. I think there's a real chance that Sanders gets drafted at #9 by the Saints. They're going kowhere with Carr. If they do pass on Sanders at #9 I think they'll look hard at a QB in round 2, possibly the kid Tyler Shough, who could end up being a better QB than Sanders. Yup, even if Sanders is there at 3 I get the feeling the Giants will pass on him and let someone else deal with any baggage he may bring along with himself.

Well yes Iceman youmdon'treally know a.receiver.is.gonna turn out unless they're graded high going into the draft. Golden could end up the best of the receiving class and I think that they should approach as if he'd going to be good for the PATS. Certainly have Drake Maye for his QB I'd say he chances are better than average thar he turns out to be a good productive WR. As I had said I still.thinknthey should draft an O-lineman that they feel is the best for their system. You don't want to hinder Maye's development and protecting him should be paramount. I think the guy they should draft is Membou at 4 because odds are Hunter won't be there but if he is the.they need to run to the podium to pick him. There's a chance the first 3 picks couldend up being Ward, Carter and Sanders although I think QB Sanders gets drafted at #9 by the Saints. The PATS defense isn't terrible so I don't see them.taking a defensive guy at 4 so just simplify.the thing and take the best O-lineman and be happy with it.

I don't think they'll have a shot at getting Hunter. He'll go at 3 to the Giants so I think the PATS best way to go would be get O'line help with Armand Membou and then hopefully if he's.still there WR Matthew Golden. There's a chance Golden may not be there for their 2nd rounder so they may look to take defensive help. Either way taking.Membou's a good.choice. Have to protect Maye.

I have to agree with you jrokh. At worst the O-line is average but a chance to be better during the 2025 season. They probably will address the O-line maybe round 3 or sometime in day 2. I still feel that they need a QB for the future but that probably won't happen this year. I just don't believe they're in love with Shadeur Sanders so even if he's there at 3 they should pass on him. Surely one of Jalen Carter or Travis Hunter will be there, preferably Hunter they should consider it. People probably think pick 3 is too high for Ashton Jeanty but if Hunter's gone they really should consider it. Plus they'd have an exceptional back on a rookie contract. I know, Iknow, the really kinda screwed Saquone Barkley but hopefully they've learned from that. Maybe they could move up into the back end of the first round and land Jaxson Dart but he should be gone within the first 20-24 picks. Maybe takea flyer on the QB Shough kid.

There's no doubt Nabers is very talented and will go high.in fantasy drafts. I'm tempering my expectations for him slightly. For sure the Giants will be behind in games which should call for more passing. Thus Nabers targets should be pretty high as they dkn't have much else currently in the receiver room. If be some chance the first 2 picks in the NFL draft are QBs maybe the Giants should consider drafting Ashton Jeanty. If they do that may actually help Nabers production. They let Barkley walk to win a title and Tyron Tracy's ok but not on the level of Jeanty. So if they're not in live with Shadeur Sanders then they should take Jeanty and look for a QB later or in next years draft as they could have a high draft pick eligible for the Arch Manning sweepstakes. On another note if the Giants continue to not get a franchise QB then could there be a possibility that Nabers walks after his rookie contract? Of course depends too on whether they franchise tag him. Still.thoigh could there be a possibility that Nabers looks to travel.south and hook up with QB Jayden Daniel's and the Commanders. Anything could happen but it'd be a shame if the Giants were to squander this Uber talented receiver.

Even though they have Wilson now I think Nabers would fare better with Winston as the starter. Don't know at this point where tk value Nabers with Willson and Wjnston there. He should still get a ton of targets but we'll.see. So now, do the Giants take Travis Hunter at #3 if he's there and Sanders is still available?

No, not really..Daboll was supposed to do wonders with QBs. He helped Josh Allen but he was already good. He just needed to clean some things up. He couldn't seem to straighten Daniel Jones out but he.never was very good. Even with Russ there I don't see them winning very many games which could ultimately spell the exodus for Russell Wilson and Brian Daboll after this year.

Guess the Giants are out on the Sanders sweepstakes as I don't think they take him at #3. No doubt that either Abdul Carter or Travis Hunter will be there. If I were them they should hope that Hunter falls to them at 3. They should run to the podium to take him but Cleveland could squash that dream. I'm.thinking the Giants are gonna wait until next year to take a QB and that QB could end up being another MANNING with them.taking ARCH MANNING. This could be their mindset.

As the draft approaches mock drafts are.changing all the time. Who's going #1, what will the Raiders do at six, will Dallas draft a RB at 12, will Jim Harbaugh have a chance to draft his former college TE Colston Loveland? The QB situation has been mashed over more than potatoes and where they'll fall and who's taking them. Consensus as of now looks like Cam Ward will go #1 to the Titans. No clue if Sanders will be therenatn3 and will the Giants take him. Most ojmdits think there will be 3 QBs taken in the first round, Ward, Sanders and Dart. I however am.going to say there will be 4 QBs taken in the first round.Ward goes #1 to the Titans, Sanders goes #3 to the Giants, Jaxson Dart goes #9 to the Saints(big move up for him) and lastly Tyler Shough goes to the Steelers at #21. Yes even if they get Rodgers who'll probably be done after one year and may balk at mentoring Shough but that won't hinder them taking him with their 1st pick. I know they didn't hit on Pickett in the first round a few years ago but I think Shough is better than him. Louis Riddick is really touting this kid and yes that means squat but I still think he's got a chance to get drafted in the first round. Pittsburgh needs to figure their QB situation out with or without Rodgers.

If the Titans take Ward at one then I thinknthe Browns take Abdul Carter at two. The Giants are jn a hard spot with no real QB. Rodgers isn't going there and Winston could be good for a few games but if Sanders is available at 3 then they have to take him. Not a big fan of him and he may or may not pan out but the Giants have to take him.

With the signing of Winston who'll certainly sling the rock Nabers value should rise a little. I think it'll get better though if the draft QB Sanders at #3. Surely the Giants don't believe that Winston is thier future QB but it does stabilize them some with only Tkmmy DeVito on the roster. Smart move is to take Sanders and Winston will help the rookie. If they do then Winston may not see the field unless Sanders really struggles or health becomes an issue. Regardless if Winston becomes the starter then absolutely Nabers stock gets better. He's very talented and he should be the focal point of the offense much like CeeDee Lamb is in Dallas. Don't waste his talent.

Yeah it wouldn't surprise to see the Jets swing for the fences at #7 and take Jaxson Dart. His stock has been rising but is he worthy of such a high pick? Could be. If they don't.tske Dart at #7 then the QBs left aren't really much better than Fields. Seen some mocks with them.taking TETyler Warren. He certainly hives them a bona-fide weapon on offense for QB Fields. So I think they may pass on Dart and take Warren.

I have to agree with you Weepaws. Rodgerswill be going to a team where he's set to be the starter and looks like it's either the Giants or the Steelers. I'm betting on the Steelers for Rodgers as he'll have better weapons and a better O-line. Ahh, Rodgers has his own agenda and I too think he won't be much of a mentor to whatever rookie the Giants take. If at #3 they take.Sanders because Ward will be gone there could quite possibly be some butting of the heads with Rodgers and Sanders. We've seen and heard that Sanders stock had been dropping due in part to the team interviews he had so it sounds like he might feel.a sense of entitlement and this may cause some problems between him.and Rodgers. I don't this Aaron is thrilled to.come in and mentor a young QB if he ends up in New York. It'll be all.about me,me,me with him and.he'll focus on his production and mentoring would take a distant back.seat to any rookie QB. The best thing for the Giants is let Rodgers go somewhere other than New York, draft either Ward(if he's there) or Sanders and grab a veteran QB that will want to help mentor their rookie QB. Many of us are.so done with the Rodgers saga/drama and I wish he would come on and make a decision where he wants to go. Certainly the Steelers are the frontrunner to get Rodgers and the Giants would be best served passing on the Rodgers show. As for Nabers I think whoever is the QB he's going to continue to develop and get better, even if the grab a WR early second round. Though I think they should consider taking an O-lineman at pick #34 because if they draft Ward or Sanders then protecting him.should be paramount. There should still be a decent O-lineman with their pick in the 2nd round and then maybe look at receiver in the 3rd. This is a pretty decent receiver class.so there will be good ones in the 3rd round. Whatever they do Nabers will continue to be a focal point of the offense and he should at least put up respectable WR1 numbers.

So, I made an old fart move when saying the Jets would jump to #1. Obviously they won't since signing Justin Fields. Guess I'll have to double check every post I make so as not to make that vlunder again, LOL. I may still have someone else with an.outside chance to get to number one but I'll have to give it some thought.
