Yes, TE BEN SINNOTT WILL finish in the top 10 for TE's this year. Typically rookie TE's haven't done well their 1st year in the NFL but last years rookie sensation SAM LaPORTA is the exception. The position was kind of looked at as an additional blocker on the line with occasional complimentary catches during he season. This was the standard for quite a while in the NFL but all of that has changed. TE's have now became an integral part of a teams offense during the year. They're no longer looked at as just a player to block and fill out the 11 players on offense. They have carved out a niche for themselves that says HEY we CAN play good football and not just block. Sam LaPorta really caught fire last year but I don't think we'll see.that kind if production from any of the rookie TEs this year. BROCK BOWERS should lead all rookie TEs in production but may not get half the production LaPorta got last year. Now to the Commanders TE BEN SINNOTT. I think he's in a pretty good spot for him to make an impact on Washington's.offense this year. He's only got the aging Zach Ertz in front of him and even if Ertz stays healthy Sinnott will push Ertz out of the way as the season progresses. Don't want to nail.down numbers for him just yet but I feel strongly that he'll finish in the top 10 for TEs this year. I even say he's got a decent chance to have better production than highly touted Brock Bowers this year. It is good to finally have TE's get the credit they deserve.

Travis Kelce old and on the decline or is everything just fine
DocNiner replied to Super Cubs's topic in FFToday Board
Probably would like him a little more except for having to watch all the screen shots and drama with his celebrity girl toy, Taylor Swift. They pay way to much attention on getting her FaceTime which.detracts from the game. I also think his involvement with her has affected his play regardless of him getting older and his play/production heading downwards. I truly believe the Chiefs WON'T 3-peat and this could likely be.his last year before he rides of in the sunset with his glamor girl. -

The physicality the game has definitely had an effect on him. Yet he seemed to come alive in the playoffs. I.think you can pretty.much see.a repeat of his 2023 numbers. With the added receivers for KC he won't have to be the focus and carry the load. Which for him is probably a good thing. Kind of preserve his body during the regular season then turn it up a notch during the playoffs where he excels. Still think he can finish top 10 for TE's. I could see 600-700 yds. and 5 tds. during the season. -
Such a shame that they didn't make a concerted effort to give Herbert viable options at WR. Justin balled out his rookie year so he showed he has the talent to be a very good NFL QB. Don't think Chark's gonna make much of a difference. Lot of people were high on Quentin Johnston going to.the Chargers but his rookie year didn't go very well butiedon the depth chart behind.Keenan.Allen Mike Williams and to.some.extent Joshus Palmer. So.Johnston's got a year hnder.his belt and.he should be given every opportunity to be the team's leading receiver. The talents there so.he and Herbert really need to get in sync with each other.and who knows maybe he'll be a nice surprise this year. There's no doubt they HAD to address the O-line in the draft. Herbert's not gonna be any good to the team if they can't protect him. Yeah, by going O-line with their 1st pick the receiver pool talent.elopdimished by the time they could look to.grab one. Some say McConkey's gonna be good but yes there wasn't much production in college so he will be a project to develop. I.still.think it's possible that Herbert could push upwards of 25-28 passing tds this year witha couple of rushing tds. Dude is young so.I ber they'll be looking to nab whatever top talents available at receiver in next years draft and dkn't squander the talent and potential that Herbert has.

He has definitely landed in a good spot with a chance to produce day 1. Problem therein lies that other people are going g to realize his potential and his ADP will rise. By the time a lot of fantasy draft roll around people could easily reach for him earlier than I'd like to see him go. Hoping to get him in the later rounds but as times passes he's going to move up draft boards. Regardless I still think he's going to put up decent rookie numbers and pay dividends to fantasy owners.
-
Harrison's definitely the Cardinals focus and he should easily eclipse 1,000 yds and at least 6-8 tds. After him is a little shaky. Nabers value will depend of if Jones can stay healthy. McConkey will get plenty of targets and I like his potential to break 1,000 yds. Depending on the Rice situation and even if he plays I think Worthy will be Mahomes #2 target. The darkhorse I like to show up and get 1,000 yds. is the first pick in the 2nd round of WR KEON COLEMAN suiting up for the Bills. I think he's got a clear path to start and will develop chemistry with QB Josh Allen early on. We all know that Buffalo's gonna throw the ball and I wouldn't be surprised if WR Coleman finishes the season the #2 rookie receiver right behind Mazerati Marv. So mark it down and get.Coleman on your fantasy team. Probably 4 to 5 receivers will get picked ahead of him in rookie drafts so he's going to be a steal.

Not one of my better draft predictions but heck I'm happy at 24. Probably will go down once final results are in. Still it's a fun thing to do. Thanks to Mike and FFToday.

I'm a 100% sure the Vikings will draft a QB this year. For their sake they better. There's Jared Goff, Jordan Love and soon th be drafted Caleb Williams. Chicago , Detroit and Green Bay should all.finish ahead of the Vikes this year so if Minnesota wants to be competitive in their division in the future they better draft a QB. Since they have 2 picks in the first round they should make a serious effort to try to move up to #3 and trade with the PATS. I don't think Washington is gonna budge off their #2 pick so the should concentrate on getting the #3 pick. It'll cost them thier 2 first rounders and at least a first round pick next year, so they'll probably overspend to get the pick, Ala my 49ers pick of bust Lance. Hope it doesn't turn out like that for them. IF they can't get the #3 pick then it's still gonna cost them their 2 first rounders to move up and get JJ McCarthy. There's a chance of teams like the NY Giants, Broncos and the Raiders put forth an effort to get McCarthy do the Vikings better rack their brains to get up into the top 5 if they want even a chance of getting a QB.
-
He's posturing for a new deal. He did drop the 49ers from his social media account. Even if he did ask for a trade I don't think he 'll get the money he's looking for. I believe his best chance to get a ring is to remain a 49er. Possible Deebo won't be there in 2025 making Aiyuk the defacto #1 WR. Maybe someone should tell him the grass isn't always greener on the other side. When all is said and done I think Brandon Aiyuk gets a deal done that's amenable to both sides and he'll stay in San Fran.

Well, seems like the NFL.wants to generate more profit for the league by going to multiple co I Marie's to play games. Don't think a lot of players really like that but they get paid well so they'll have to deal with it. Now it's a game in Brazil so wondering where they'll wanna play next. May be a.matter of time before the look to play a game in NORTH KOREA where the mad dictator Kim something I'll or.whatever his name is wants to watch. He has been visited by Dennis Rodman.and the guy loves the NBA but he hates America. Keep the NFL out of questionable countries.

Trade: Bills moving WR Stefon Diggs to Texans
DocNiner replied to Mike FF Today's topic in FFToday Board
Seeing as how well CJ Stroud played last year the addition of Diggs should help his numbers be even better this year, if that's possible. If Tank Dell can come back healthy and be available come week 1.good chance we'll see a lot of 3 WR sets. If that's the case then I think TE Dalton Schultz's numbers go down significantly. Is Diggs gonna whine if Collins and Dell get targets.he thinks he should get? Anyway, at least on paper it looks like the Texans offense should be really good this year. Plus add in RB Joe Mixon.who should get a decent amount of touches so it should be fun to watch the Texans offense in 2024. Oh, forgot to mention their defense which added some pieces as well and should be better than last year. Good it be possible that the Texans pose a threat to the Kansas City Chiefs this year? -
Good bet but there will probably be a team out that they'll need some depth at rb during.camp if injuries or something else goes on. He should consider himself lucky if a yeam picks him up and extremely fortunate if he were to get anywhere around 100 carries. He's proved he can't stay.healthy and that may end up being the case this year if he goes to some team. Dude is toast IMO, but we'll see

I'll do my Too Early Top 10 but reserve to adjust it after the NFL Draft. Lot of good stud players to try and get the top 10 right, which is really subjective. I prepared a list of my top 25 and actually some of these guys outside the top 10 could easily slide in there. So here goes anyway. 1. RB CHRISTIAN McCAFFREY- probably the biggest reason my 49ers made it to the SB. 2. WR TYREEK HILL- He'll come close to 2,000 yds. 3.CD LAMB- will be Cowboys focus and double digit tds for sure. 4.WR JUSTIN JEFFERSON- down a few spots with Darnold but easily top 3 WR. 5.RB BIJAN ROBINSON- will be the 2nd best RB behind CMC. 6.WR JaMARR CHASE- will take a bit to sync up with Burrow. 7.RB KYREN WILLIAMS- McVat has his bellcow for 2024. 8.RB BREECE HALL- will be QB Rodgers favorite offensive player. 9.RBJaMYR GIBBS- will have bigger share than Montgomery. 10.WR AJ BROWN- having Barkley there will boost his production.

Now that Cousins is in Atlanta what does that do for the offensive skill position players? Specifically, RB Robinson, WR London and TE Pitts. Is possible that all 3 of these players finish in the top 10 for their position? Which of these guys benefits the most with Cousins? First, London is no Justin Jefferson, so.whete do you slot him in your WR rankings? TE Pitts has basically been a disappointment so far and can he be the TE we thought he would be coming into the league with Cousins. Lastly, RB Bijan Robinson could end up being the best of these 3 guys and with the new coaching staff I think he's going to get a significant workload this year and he could easily be a top 10 RB thus year. I like to get you guys thoughts on these 3 players and how you think they'll fare this year with the upgrade at QB. Do you think all 3 will end up top 10 this year?

Gus Edwards to be the bell cow for the chargers?
DocNiner replied to nobody's topic in FFToday Board
He will for sure get short yardage carries and goalline tds. Don't think he'll match the previous 13tds this year. He may be lucky to get more than 150 carries depending on who else is in the RB room. Surely you'd think the Chargers would draft an RB 3rd round or later and give them a chance to play. For me though I'll put Gus on my do not draft list and dkn't think he'll even be in the top 30 rbs. -
Gus Edwards to be the bell cow for the chargers?
DocNiner replied to nobody's topic in FFToday Board
Yeah, his career so far doesn't suggest that he's a bellcow RB and trust me he won't be in L.A. I guarantee you that the Chargers will draft a RB in the 3rd or 4th round. There's some decent ones in the draft. Pretty sure we won't see one go in the 1st round so the Chargers will have the opportunity to grab one. I could be wrong but Edward's will not get bellcow carries. -
I think Bijan Robinson has the best chance to be top 10 at RB. The other 2 are still a little iffy. Shame that Pitts hasn't really pan out so far but he'll have a real shot at being top 15. London on the other hand, while talented, just don't see him being top10 even with a.new QB. Cousins is coming off a serious injury and not sure how he'll hold up all season. If he's out for any time then London and Pitts value drops significantly in production. Bijan would still get his but as.I see.it.I think Robinson's.the only one that.finishes top10.
-
I'm sure if Kevin O'Connell can get Nick Mullens to sling the ball with some success he should be able to at least make Darnold a serviceable QB. However, with Darnold now a Viking I would think you'd have to drop Jefferson down a.little jn WR rankings. Don't think he'll be WR1 when fantasy drafts start. He'll.still be a top 10 WR but there's at least a handful of other young receivers that in all likelihood will put up better numbers than JJ. I know, I'd still like to see him be the top receiver this season but with Darnold I don't think that's gonna happen. We'll see.
-
I don't think the addition of Barkley will hurt Jalen Hurts that much although a lot of other people seem to think his QB ranking drops and probably rightfully so for fantasy. In reality Barkley's a huge boost to the Eagles offense and I hope we don't see.thst damned tush push as much. Jason Kelce's retired now and he was a big part of why the brotherly shove was so successful. Yes they'll still use it in short yardage, especially if it's 4th down and.less than a yard but they would be wise to use the bruising RB to get that yardage. Signing Barkley looks like they're trying to imitate my 49ers when.they signed the amazing Christian McCaffrey but Barkley's no CMC. I do however applaud the Eagles for snagging Barkley.and.dojng what.they feel helps their offense.

Bengals trade Joe Mixon, expected to sign Zack Moss
DocNiner replied to polecatt's topic in FFToday Board
I like this move for Mixon. He certainly slots in as the lead back and with a decent offense with QB Stroud, WRs Nico Collins and Tank Dell(inj.) Mixon sets himself up to have a decent fantasy season. He's definitely an RB2 in fantasy but has a chance,IMO, to putup RB1 numbers. He's only 27 and should have plenty left in the tank. Texans offense is trending upwards and with rookie sensation CJ Stroud they certainly have a good shot at winning the division and making the playoffs regardless. With all the RB shuffling around this year it'll be interesting to see which of these FA runningbacks ends up posting good fantasy numbers in their new homes. It's been a heck of a free agent season so far and hopefully the devalued RB's will show the NFL that they are more relevant than given credit for. Rock on dudes. -
Bengals trade Joe Mixon, expected to sign Zack Moss
DocNiner replied to polecatt's topic in FFToday Board
Now with both.Chase Brown and Zach Moss toting the rock it'll be interesting to see how both shake out fantasy wise. I think I'd lean more in favor of Chase Brown to get the majority of touches. Also on another note it looks like the Bengals have traded Joe Mixon to the Houston Texans. I like that move for Mixon. Still think he's got plenty left in the tank, a good young QB with several good receivers yet Mixon could produce a decent fantasy season this year. He'll surely get the Lions share of touches at.RB. -
Yeah I think I somewhat agree with you after looking it over so I guess I'll replace Mixon with JONATHAN TAYLOR.

#1,#2,#3,#4 & #5- CHRISTIAN McCAFFREY, haha,LOL. Jus' kiddin' #1- CHRISTIAN McCAFFREY- even though I'm a 49ers Homer until he proves to me that he's not the top RB I have to rank him first. #2- BIJAN ROBINSON- Arthur Smith did NOT know how to use Bijan. That won't be the case this year. His carries and receptions will go up regardless of who's the QB. No sophomore slump.for this talented RB. He show why he was a top 10 pick in last years draft. #3- BREECE HALL- this Uber talented RB should have Rodgers back under center and Arod will NOT let Hall go unnoticed. He's a good receiver and with Rodgers hopefully staying healthy all year he'll help Breece finish as.the #3 RB. #4- ISAIAH PACHECO- he missed a few games playing.in 15 but still managed to put up 935 yds rushing.and 244 yds Receiving. I do believe Kelce's production is falling during the regular season which will be a plus for PACHECO in terms of his involvement in the offense. He'll be featured as much as possible. Look for his carries and receptions to go up. He's only 25 years old and the 2024 season will see him finish at #4 in production for RBs. #5- JOE MIXON- There's been talk and speculations that he won't be a Bengal in 2024. I say he will be. He had 1,034 yds rushing and 376 yds Receiving for a total of 12 touchdowns last year. He's 27 years old and does have a little wear to him but I think he's still got enough in the tank to produce enough to land him at the #5 spot for RBs this upcoming season.
-
I didn't. I adjusted my top 5 TEs that I posted earlier to include COLE KMET and KYLE PITTS. Kmet could be the better of these 2 this year as in all likelihood we see Caleb Williams drafted by the Bears and he'll want to show out his 1st year. That I believe will involve Kmet quite a bit. Yes they do have DJ Moore but Williams will want to move the ball which I think will translate in to plenty of targets to Kmet. There is talk that the Bears could opt for one of the good WRs in this draft with their 2nd pick in the first round. I believe it's a top 10 pick too. If they DO take a WR with the 2nd pick that may hurt Kmet's involvement a bit. Still, with Williams in house I think Kmet stands a decent chance to be in the top 5 for TEs this year.
-
If Marvin Harrison Jr. turns out to be as good as he is touted during his rookie year then YES he has a real chance of finishing as a top 5 WR. In fact Puka Nacua finished as a top 5 receiver last year as a rookie. If he goes to Arizona at pick 4 as has been projected he has an excellant chance of putting up very good numbers. He should certainly be the top pick in rookie fantasy drafts this year.
