Awesome that he's playing. Surely he won't be 100% but I'll take that. To hat level he'll be is up in the air but just being on the field gives S.F. 49ers more options for the offense. Idoubt he'll have many runs if at all but his presence will open things up for the other skill guys on the team. We'll need that going against a very talented Lions team. Amon-ra, Gibbs and especially LaPorta really helped some of my fantasy teams this year and I hope they continue to excel in their NFL careers. Just NOT for this game,lol. So I see the over/under has moved to 51.5 pts. I think these 2 teams will produce the over in this game as both offense will be able to score pretty good. I can definitely see 1 team going over 30 points and yes, as a Homer, that team will be my San Francisco 49ers. The Lions may put up the good fight but in the end I project the 49ers, being at home, will do enough to win this game.

Favorites and Fades have the 49ers winning 34-23. If so, that would certainly cover the -6.5 pts. the 49ers would be giving the Lions. I'd definitely like to see that result happen but I'd be exuberant with a 49er win by 1 point!

I too like the under in this one. Ravens lost to the Colts in OT, 22-19, and lost twice to the Steelers. Both games 17-10 in favor of Pittsburgh. Yes, I think Lamar is the clear favorite for MVP, but the Ravens have had their issues recently in past playoffs appearances. Mahomes has shown that he can handle big playoff games and yes, I too, am given the edge to Mahomes and the Chiefs until Mahomes proves otherwise. I'll take a chance and pick the Chiefs to win this one 24-21 over Lamar and the Ravens.

Yes, the Lions pass rush is something Kyle Shanahan better pay attention to. Hutchinson probably won't lineup across from Trent Williams so it's gonna be important that they put 2 guys on Hutchinson often. We see what happened last year when the Njners put a backup TE to block Hassan Reddick. Sheer disaster, so I hope for their sake they've learned from that. Hutchinson van wreck a game so they better be aware of that and take the appropriate measures to see that he doesn't get to Purdy. Should be interesting to see what they do.

Yeah I too think that 6.5.pts. is a bit much. 9ers were 10.5 pts. favorite against the Packers and still barely able to win the game. If Deebo can manage to play the whole game then the 49ers could cover the spread. I know that's a big if. The Lions secondary has been susceptible to the pass thus year and I don't think it's out of the question for Aiyuk to have a big game even with Deebo in the lineup. Also, I'd like to see angry runner TE Kittle to have a multiple td game. Yet for all.this to happen Purdy can not absolutely play like he did last week.

True. Even if he plays you wonder how affective he'll be. He could end up being mainly a decoy. I'd want to know his status too before betting on the game. Yet, I don't like the 6.5 pt. Spread I'd probably bet the Lions to cover even if Deebo plays the whole game. If the 49ers win by more still win,lol, seeing them.go to the SB.

Firstlet me say kudos to the Lions for getting to this point. Regardless of how the game shakes out I can assure the Lions are gonna be a top team next year. I would have preferred to face the BUCS but still just as happy that my 48ers made it to the NFC title game. We haven't played exceptionally well over the past several weeks and whatever DEEBO's status is for the game he won't be 100% and that will surely affect our offense. PURDY can NOT play the way he did last week and expect us to win. Mr.Irrelevant HAS to show up in thus game and show why we kept him.and got rid of Lance. Even if Deebo is out Purdy still has some pretty good weapons. I'd like to see Shanahan lean on CMC more this week than he did last week. Crap, he's the best RB in the league and if we're gonna have a chance to win this game then CMC needs to be heavily used in running I ng and catching out of the backfield. I.aldo think that TE KITTLE needs to be targeted more and I can definitely see him scoring 2 tds. You can't replace Deebo at this point so don't try to. Lean on.the studs you, in CMC, KITTLE and AIYUK. I.think Purdy has a bounce back game and will help us get to the superbowl. Also, I know we had 2int's last week but the D-line needs to step it up a bit in this one. In no particular order the top 5 TE's for the 2024 season will be.... Kelce LaPorta Ferguson Kmet Pitts Decided to rethink a couple of my picks. Dropped Kincaid and Kittle. Went out on a limb with two guys. I think Kmet makes it as Caleb Williams will look his way often during his rookie season in Chicago. Whoever ends up being the Falcons QB, hoping it's Fields, I think Pitts will put it all together in '24 and finally.show the league he's capable of being a top TE.

Losing Deebo early was a big concern since the Packers seemed to have been one of the hottest teams of late and Love has played exceptional. I knew that a 10.5 pt. spread was way to much. The rain didn't help either. Still our defense, inspite of the penalties, was able to somewhat limit the Packers offense. We hung in there though and CMC is a big part of why we won. Battling against a hot team I think will help us going in to the NFC title game and hopefully the weather will be a little better. There's no excuses at this point and the Niners are.gonna have to crank it up on both sides of the ball if they want to get to the SB whether it be against the Lions or the Bucs. My guess would be it'll be against the Lions, another very good offensive team. So, GO S.F. 49ERS!!!

The spread was -9.5 for the Niners so now it's 10 . All credit due to my niners 10 pts. seems a little much given the way the Packers have been playing lately. They put up a whopping 48pts. on a dupposedly top 5 defense in the Cowboys. The Packers, with all due respect, have been playing very good recently and they'll probably still play good against the 49ers. Especially because they have a number of rookie and 2nd year receivers that have been playing well. They have no true #1WR, IMO, to kind of key in on defensively and given multiple WR's that get the ball it could cause concern for our defensive backfield. They probably stay away from Charvarious Ward as much as possible so Ambrey Thomas and the other guys will have to step their game up today. RB Jones has been also pretty good lately but I think our D-line and LBs can keep him in check. We just need our DBs to be really focused and try to avoid any chunk plays from the talented Green Bay receivers. I think our offense will be able to hold their own against the Packers. They're a little vulnerable in the middle so I'm looking for a big game from Kittle. Deebo's gonna get his regardless as I'm sure he'll be heavily involved. Let's n

My Grandson is a Commanders fan and.he was happy to finally see Rivera gone. He probably.wants Eric 'Sleeping with' Bienemy(Chris Berman plug) become the new head coach but don't know if he's the right choice for the job. Actually, if Bill Belichick parts ways with the PATS I'd like to see him get the Washington job. They do have the #2 pick and Bill could get the QB he wants to groom him in hope of maybe re-creating a little Tom Brady magic. Regardless, the Commanders have been a disaster for years and it'd be good to see them finally get a decent head coach that could drag them out of the football quagmire they've been in for years. So my vote would be for them to hire Belichick but not sure that'll happen.

Even though his QB situation was bad ARTHUR SMITH is NOT a head.coach, IMO. He severely underused and hampered the possible production from an excelllant back in BIJAN ROBINSON. Maybe the next head coach for Atlanta will.use.Bujan the right way.and if si he could.easily be a top 5 RB next year. He will.surely be a target I'll be looking to draft in 2024.

No doubt that all 5 of the rookies listed had exceptional years. It is truly amazing what TE SAM LaPORTA has done this year so I to would vote for him for ROY. I did post before the season started that I like LaPorta's chances of having a decent rookie year and I had.ranked him higher, pre-season tgan the other rookie.TEs, Dalton Kincaid and Michael Mayer. QBs and RBs can sometimes have really good rookie years, RBs more so than QBs but it is rare for a TE to have the kind of year LaPorta has had. Just a shame that he hyper-extended his knee jn last weeks game and his stays for wildcard weekend doesn't look to good. He could have easily padded his stats were he ab l e to play but he may not even be ready to play after this week if Detroit wins. Sad, but as I said my vote clearly.is for LaPorta but the powers that be may not see.it that way and end up giving it to CJ Stroud who by all rights has.had.an exceptional year.as well even after missing a few.games. Kudos too though to WR PUKA NAKUA(Rams) for his record setting year as.a.rookie. Given where he was drafted, 5th round, makes it more impressive for the numbers he put up. Surely no one seen that knew coming. I did have LaPorta in numerous leagues and.thank God I did when.Kelce.sysrted to falter some. I even had LaPorya and Puka in.some leagues and.they surely helped me win the title. Do, kudos to all the rookies on that list for.they all had a decent year production wise yet the ROY will be between 4 of them. STROUD, NAKUA.and LaPORTA.

8 team league. Finished the regular season a perfect 13-0. Had #1 ranking for playoffs and a week 14.Bye. Won my week 15 matchup and week 16 was the title game which I won for a15-0 record for the year. Here was my Week 16 Championship Ljneup. QB- JOSH ALLEN, JARED GOFF RB- BIJAN ROBISON, RAHEEM MOSTERT, JOE MIXON WR- MIKE EVANS, TYREEK HILL TE- DAVID NJOKU PK- BRANDON AUBREY DEF/ST- N.Y. JETS Needless to say I was very pleased with the way my players scored for me all year and when my top players didn't play so well I was able to get the right bench and waiver wire players in my lineup and manage to squeak a win in some tough matchups. In all a very fun year for me.

Yeah I wouldn't take a QB before the 5th round. As said the WAIVER WIRE is VERY important. Look for players on the WW who are trending up and grab them and play your hot players. Always try to keep a strong bench if possible because injuries are gonna happen and if you try and rely knly kn your studs and don't get decent bench players you'll be toast if your studs go down and you don't have decent bench players. Kelce seems to be trending down.as the #1TE. I had posted before the season that Detroit Lions rookie TE Sam LaPorta was gonna be good this year. Nailed that one and yup tooting my own horn but it shows that you can get lucky with grabbing king a player that some may not say will do much but your gut tells you otherwise GO WITH YOUR GUT and.most times it'll pay off.

As painful as it was to watch the game and Purdy have 4 ints I think it's something Shanahan can clean up. As said Balt. seen some tendencies from Purdy resulting in turnovers so Coach Kylr should be able to work with the young QB and hopefully get it corrected. Maybe the loss to the Ravens was a good thing in waking up the niner players and getting them hungry, angry and back o. track playing winning football with the playoff approaching. Purdy is smart and all QB's had some bad games but I don't think it'll affect him going forward. Providing he's healthy from the stinger he got in the Ravens game I think he'll go out against Washington and have the kind of game that still puts him in the MVP conversation. My Grandson lives with me and he's a Commanders fan and very fantasy competitive, so we'll be throwing barbs back and forth with each other during the game but sorry to say his team's going down!!

I do like Brown for next year but 3 rookie RBs come to mind that I picked up earlier in the year before they hot hot and will be stashing them on my keeper rosters for next year. The 2 are Dolphins RB DEVON ACHANE, who has put up really good numbers inspite of some missed games because of injury and Ravens RB KEATON MITCHELLL, who has finally.gotten more playing time as of late and look for him to start the season next year as RB1 for his team. As for WRs 2 no Brainerd for next year would be Rams WR PUKA NAKUA who'll only get better as long as the QB situation is stable and Texans WR TANK DELL, who may take some time early next year to progress because of the broken leg he suffered recently. So, I got 2RBs and 2WRs that people should consider stashing on their rosters for next year.

Yes I agree. They need to seriously look at that situation of teammates pushing the ball carrier, usually the QB, and when forwarward progress actually stops before they start pushing to get the yardage needed. You.make a very valid point and I would hope the NFL AND the referees review all of the tape and realize there's times when the tush push falls short until teammates ckntjnue the push to the line to gain and especially at the goal line.

Of the players on your list the first 3, McCaffrey, Jefferson and Tyreek Hill are all worthy of 1st round picks. After that it's a.crapshooy and debatable.who'll follow the top 3. Guess it'll depend on your league format and scoring. Hill is having an amazing year but I'm still gonna say my 49ers RB MvCaffrey is the top pick in round 1. He fits really well into Shanahan's.system and will continue to produce excellant fantasy numbers.

Clearly the Eagles are the best at it but I agree that the NFL is not rugby yet I dkn't think any change to not allowing it will be made. Just hope hope that no one gets seriously hurt from it but I ntil that happens the tush push will continue. I hate it but I guess that the way it goes.

As Showboat said Philly's defense is definitely not as good as last year. The run D and the front 4 are pretty good but the LB's and secondary fall way short of last year. Deebo's trash talking seemed to hold up as he torched Philly for 3 tds. Purdy is playing awesome and deserves to be in the MVP conversation along with Christian McCaffrey. We can win the last 5 games but beating Baltimore will be tough but it's at home. I'd certainly like to see us get the #1 seed for the playoffs With the way our season ended last year with all our QBs injured the 49ers are on a mission to show the world that we are.the best team in the NFL. Yeah this week 13 matchup kn Philly is gonna bte a real test for the 49ers both offensively and defensively. I look for DB Ward to take on AJ Brown for much of the game given the success he had against Metcalf last week. True what you said with Ward matching up better against bigger WRs than speedster. The rest of the D needs to step up as well as last game against Philly Devonta Smith played well. Feed Warner needs a good game as does Bosa and Chase Young. Of we can pressure Hurts, get a few sacks we might have a chance. Eagles are 11-1 for a reason so our offense will need to put points I nts on the board. I'mjust praying Shanahan put someone who can block kn Hasson Reddick so there's.mot a repeat what happened to Purdy last year. Purdy's gonna have a chip on his shoulders after last year and he'll need to have his best game this year to beat Philly. He put up 4 tds on Dallas' defense and he might need that too to beat the Eagles who ate vulnerable on the back end. I don't think Philly's defense is as strong as they were last year but we'll need to be on our A game on both sides of the ball to win. So let's go 48ers and show the Eagles we are still a force to be reckoned with.

While my 49ers typically have struggled in Sesttle, especially when RussellWilson was there, it wasn't as convincing a win as I'd hoped for. Our defense started to let the Seahawks back into the game in the 2nd half and I was beginning to get a little worried. We start good and play decent in the first half and then kinda disappear in the second half. Still, the defense began to get their head outta their arse and put the clamps on the Seahawks offense. Now we'll have some extended rest before our week 12 matchup in Philadelphia against the Beagles, J mean Eagles. I sadly remember what happened I last years NFC Championship game and hope our guys get through it healthy. It's also in our players minds what happened last year and we better go into Philly with a big chip on our shoulders. It's no doubt gonna be a dog fight. I'm not worried about the offense as we should put up points especially through the air against Philly. It'll be the play of our defense and a little worried about the secondaries ability to shut down AJ Brown and Devonta Smith. The 49ers defense are gonna have to have their best game of the year if we wanna come away from Philly with a win.
