Very tough to tell who has the best team. ahill, TarheelBoy, jocstrap and singman used similar draft strategies and anyone of them could easily be a contender for the championship (all this is on paper mind you). However, 69TossSweep, Kutulu, and especially NorCalBuilders also used similar strategies, however, I really like what NorCalBuilders did with their draft selections. That is 7 teams though that I mentioned which really doesn't mean much. I would be interested in how each team performed during the season though. Good Luck.

I agree with you that selection of draft slot on the day of the draft is messed up. I have been in a similar position where the draft position isn't selected until a few days before the actual draft and it can really get your goat if you let it. There are those in that league who want it done the day of the draft which makes it even worse. I am also in another league where the draft position is done once everyone is paid up (usually around June). I don't have to tell you that this gives you some much needed strategy time. IMO, the selection on draft day is usually done in leagues that are more relaxed so that people who probably aren't as prepared as others can at least get a chance at a high draft pick (they probably aren't going to win anyway, it just makes them feel better). This is the only advantage they can get to counter your preparation. Just keep in mind, usually, these are the people who are typically drafting out of a magazine printed in May/June while you have been keeping current in the interim. It is in the mid to late rounds where you can plan to out draft these individuals. Your real competition will come from those who are of a like mentality as yourself.

Well, Leinart went from doing hot chicks to someone who will be referred to in conversation as "not that there's anything wrong with it" in short order. I will admit that I was envious of him.....Paris Hilton,.....porn star look alikes (I still think that girl is Jenteal!). The word "disturbing" from the previous post sums up my feelings at this point. Look at the bright side Matt, you can always blame it on the alcohol. You don't have to be Miss Cleo to smell the word "rehab" in Leinart's future. I can't take credit for the following, but I just couldn't resist posting it below: Overheard at a staff meeting between Buzzsaw owner Bill Bidwill and Coach Ken Whisenhunt... Bidwell: Whisenhunt! what's going on? Whisenhunt: It's Leinart! He's gone from suck to blow.

Assuming that it is Jenteal (if it isn't the girl is a dead ringer), my guess is that the she probably has a new video out and figured this would be an easy way to boost sales. It probably didn't take much for her to get herself invited to one of Matt Leinart's beer and jacuzzi shindigs. At this point she gets one of her girlie friends that she brought along with her to take a few photos with her flashing those pearly whites (innuendo intended) with Matt and company in the tub. They then sell the photos, and get publicity for her video to her target audience (male football fans)! Brilliant! By the time Leinart adds all this up, somewhere in the background, a U2 song is playing....."she moves in Mysterious Ways"! In closing, I would like to add, that in no way shape or form, did I receive any benefits for my take on this. However, should Ms. Jenteal feel the need to do so, I would be willing to work something out in trade.

Off the top of my head, I would extend the following offer: Give up the following: Warrick Dunn, LaDanian Tomlinson, Alex Smith, Reggie Wayne, Pick 1.14 Try to Get: Kellen Clemens, Roy Williams, Steven Jackson, Cedric Benson, Try to get his pick at 1.2, if he doesn't give that up go for his pick at 1.6 Good Luck.

No offense intended, but if I were the other owner I wouldn't reverse the deal. Your claim to have hit the wrong button reeks of a reneg in disguise. I don't know about the parameters of your league, but if I were dissatisfied with the fashion by which trades are done by simply "hitting a button" to consummate a trade of this proportion; I would do my utmost if I were you to have something else worked out where e-mails are exchanged and then forwarded to the commishioner for approval or something else to that effect so that there is no ambiguity in the transaction. Even if you have to go to another stat service provider to do so it is worth it. I would mention that to everyone in the league as opposed to try and get the deal reneged otherwise you may find yourself looking for another league to participate in. Good luck regardless.
