Bump...I WAS having the same problem. Ahh the power of the message board, thanks Mike!!

I don't think you can really go wrong here...Moss and CJ would be a lethal WR combination, but the allure of pairing a #1 RB with Moss may be too tough to overcome. A few other factors to consider; who else has been kept (ie who are some of the top RB's that will not be kept), is this a PPR league, do you have other keepers, etc. I think if it were me, I'd go with Johnson, but as I said before, you really can't go wrong.

I think Jackson has the most value, so I would draft him. If you're not comfortable with him, you could always throw out some trade offers and see what you can get.
-
I agree with everyone else, keep Calvin...he's definitely worth a 2nd round pick. If you're picking at 1.03, you'd be picking late in the 2nd round, and CJ would be an excellent value pick at that point so don't worry about giving up your 2nd rd pick.

Sproles is an interesting fantasy option to me this year. The Chargers used the franchise tag on him, but I'm not convinced he's the feature guy in the case of an LT injury, which could limit his value. On the other hand, the fact that he was franchised would lead me to believe they will try to get him more touches this year to justify paying him that much. Coles may put up decent numbers this year with 85 on the other side, but Palmer is also talking up Chris Henry, so again, I'm not sure what to expect. Personally, I would hold onto Sproles as I think his upside is much higher than Coles.

Which TE would you rather have on your dynasty team? Pettigrew was the Lions 1st rounder this year and while being an excellent prospect, my feeling is that he may turn out to be more of a blocking TE. Finley, the Packers 3rd round pick in 2008 has been getting a lot of praise early in training camp, he's likely 2nd on the depth chart behind Lee, but appears to be the better receiving option. I'm not expecting too much from either this year, but I think I'm leaning toward Finley....thoughts?

Partly depends on how badly you want the guy you're targeting...if you're really high on him, you might make an offer the guy can't refuse to ensure you get your guy. Otherwise, I think the proposal above seems fair.

Personally, I would pay the price to keep J-Stew and would let Carlson go.

Which is better #1 pick in 4 year keeper league
Crazy Eyes replied to milty908's topic in A Little Help!
I would lean toward Moreno as I don't think I'd pay the price this year for DeAngelo coming off of a career year. -
Keep Johnson and Johnson

Keeping Calvin is a no brainer, and if you're deciding between keeping Colston and/or Brown, I would keep Brown.

Which would you rather have in a dynasty league and why? My first inclination is McFadden, but the more I think about it, the more I talk myself into Mendenhall. Mendenhall is clearly on the better team, both play in crowded backfields, but I think Mendenhall is more likely to get goal line carries, and may have the bigger upside long term. My reasoning behind leaning toward McFadden is that I think he has the potential to be the feature back much sooner, and I think will be a better pass-catcher and I think the Raiders will be much improved this year (as soon as Garcia takes over as the starting QB). Any thoughts?

Actually, I've recently converted to Mac, but do have the PC I used for last year's compiler...I just don't really use that computer any longer, but can & will if necessary (which it sounds like it is). I apologize I didn't read all of the info from last year regarding '08 Mac Office, was it just an issue some people were having and it was working for others? Or was it an issue for all Mac Office '08 users? Thanks Mike!

Mike - eagerly awaiting the '09 Compiler. Any updates for Mac Office '08 users? Will the workarounds be necessary this year?

Antonio Bryant...please save my season thread.
Crazy Eyes replied to CornKobb's topic in FFToday Board
1st week of the playoffs, I had a big enough lead that I was still winning with Bryant sitting at 185 yds and 1 TD, but the diving, one-handed grab in the end-zone sent me packing. I can not think of a worse way to end my fantasy season. He shall forever be known to me as Antonio F**ing Bryant!!
