Mike, I've figured out the problem and I thought I would let you know in case someone runs into this. Acrobat PDF maker installs a file named "pdfmaker.xl_" in the "c:\program files\microsoft office\office11\XLSstart". The purpose of placing this file there is to load all the PDF macros into Excel each time Excel is started. There seems to be an issue when this file is there with a Microsoft windows upgrade to Excel 2003. This problem translates into issues occurring with visual basic macros embedded in existing spreadsheets. My resolution was to un-install Acrobat writer and reinstall it. Everything works in your spreadsheets as expected now.

Mike, I copied the folder "c:\program files\cheatsheet compiler" over to one of my network drives. I then went to another PC that has Excel 2000 on it and without making any changes the "Setup Draft Buddy" option worked perfectly. So, there must be an issue with Excel 2003. What do you think?

Sorry to say that I've now verified the name in Buddy to Compiler as being the same w/o typos again. I noticed that I do get the same error message in Buddy on the "Draft Input" screen when I change either the "Draft Order" or "Display" options. As I was waiting for a response, I downloaded and installed Buddy_1.5C and changed only the "b" in the filename to a "c". Same error still. Both spreadsheets are located in the same folder "c:\program files\cheatsheet compiler". I had both spreadsheets opened in Excel 2003 when I attempted the "Setup Draft Buddy" option. Any other thoughts?

Mike, verified #1 and #2 for accuracy. However, when I ran "setup draft buddy" I received an error message. That message was "Runtime Error '1004' Cannot run Visual Basic macro because of a syntax error".

Mike, thanks for your prior help. I was setting everything up for my draft and ran into a slight issue. I have setup a 16 team league with a 14 player per team in the compiler. I've kept the original spreadsheet filename "fftoday_compiler_2006_1.5b.xls" and that is setup in "league_1_buddy.xls". My problem is that the "league_1_buddy.xls" allows me to enter the 16 teams but the "summary" and "draft" sheets only show 12 teams and the required number of starters on the "summary" doesn't match up to the "fftoday_compiler_2006_1.5a.xls" setup. Can you help me correct what I'm doing wrong?

I have a couple of questions about the Compiler/Draft Buddy software. First, is there any way to change the timer in Draft Buddy from 2 minutes to 3 minutes? Second, if I wanted to change the projection rankings of a few players for personaland see that change reflect on the "offense" sheet of the Draft Buddy workbook; how would/could I do that?
