2 red zone targets for Chambers. No catches...but hey, you Chambers owners have a lot to feel good about.
-
What you meant to say was, "Chambers is on my fantasy team, stupid, get him the ball! Stop going 11/17 for 143 yards to this Welker guy. How many fantasy teams is he on, anyway?"
-
??? We're all reasonable men here. Do not be guided by such emotion. I'll make you an offer you can't refuse.

Thanks for answering mine. Yours - I'd start Warner against SF. 'Zona should light it up through the air and has all the weapons in the receiving corps to do so; barring injury to Warner, Leinart isn't a factor. I can't imagine that it'll be a huge blowout though, so the Cards should keep passing to keep you happy. I'd take Taylor for sure...because Addai and Tatum aren't starting. Definition of "starting" is strange in Denver; Colts have said they're starting Rhodes. I like your WRs - Roy Williams as #3, Matt Jones as #4 is very, very nice. Can't believe you got two top TEs in Watson and McMichael and still pulled off the rest of your team. Don't know about the defenses - flip a coin there.

Just drafted - twelve teamer PPR; QB,2RB,2WR,W/R Flex, TE, K, DEF. I thought it went really well, except an early run on QBs and my first two picks left me with a less-than desirable decision to make in round 6...overall, I think I have fantastic depth all around, except perhaps the QB spot, which I'm a little uneasy on. Not sure I can do much to improve at the moment, but if you could change something about this team, what would you do? What are its weak spots? (By the way, some guys who didn't show up to the live draft had some wacky autopicks...Tony Scheffler, first round...Domanick Davis, third round...) 1.08 RB Ronnie - Bye 8 2.05 WR Torry Holt - Bye 7 3.08 RB Chester Taylor - Bye 6 [Dunn went two picks before ] 4.05 WR Reggie Wayne - Bye 6 [Kinda kicking myself for passing over Driver, but oh well] 5.08 RB Frank Gore - Bye 7 6.08 QB Bledsoe - Bye 3 [Passed on Bulger/Cpep because of Ronnie/Holt] 7.08 QB Jake Plummer - Bye 4 [Really uneasy with Bledsoe] 8.05 TE Ben Watson - Bye 6 [May have gone a round later, but wasn't going to chance it.] 9.08 WR Matt Jones - Bye 6 [Hehehehe. Targeted for round 6 initially, ecstatic with this one] 10.05 WR Eddie Kennison - Bye 3 [Took a real hit, hoping for good things here] 11.08 K Jeff Reed - Bye 4 [Can't believe I got Reed, at least ten kickers were taken before] 12.05 Jaguars DEF - Bye 6 [Can't believe I got the Jags] It looks like I'm setting myself up for a week 6 suicide, starting Kennison over Wayne/Jones, and missing both TE and DEF, but that's alright, should be strong other weeks. Not feeling too strong about Bledsoe/Plummer as my duo, even if Cutler/Romo aren't real threats. Also not too happy with Taylor as my second RB. Took Ronnie over Rudi on account of PPR and wanted Dunn as my solid, more guaranteed back but didn't get him... Otherwise, K's and D's went early, and everyone seemed almost anti-Kennison, so I took advantage of that. THANK YOU to FFtoday, the boards, AntSports ADP by the way. I couldn't have done this draft without the experience gained here.

Smith definitely and Waly despite his ?? marks. I think they're your best bets.

Please continue this discussion. I'm picking 1.08, and would love to have Tiki fall to me.

If Branch is traded today who becomes the number one WR in New England?
z00g replied to patsfanjrb's topic in FFToday Board
Pats homer here (assuming you are as well) - I believe they ARE going to be running a lot of two-TE sets, but I thin Graham is afeature blocker, not a catcher. In a 2TE/2WR set, Graham would probably be the 5th receiving option, if an option at all. I don't think he'll even approach top 15 numbers this year...he'll have maybe 10 catches all season. Just my prediction. Remote controller has a good point, we don't know who'll be brought in if Branch gets traded. -

Ben Watson's value does not go up. I don't think. When he's the focus of the passing attack, he might even slip. Who's going to take defenders away and draw double teams? Still, with Branch gone, he's the only Pats receiver worth considering, and still a top TE IMO. Don't look at Graham as a guy to have. Unless your league awards points for blocking. Even if Watson gets hurt, one of their two rookie tight ends will step into the role. -
I don't know much about Braylon, but on my list of targets would be Javon and Rod both, Matt Jones definitely, Housh. You're forgetting Eddie Kennison there, who's around Andre Johnson, higher in PPR leagues. Troy Williamson and Stallworth would be targets for later rounds, as would Michael Clayton - very high on him but I think I can get him much later than some of the other guys on this list. For that matter, you left out Steve Smith from your top group

Drafting RIGHT NOW in 10th round! NEED HELP WITH QB!
z00g replied to mizzoin's topic in FFToday Board
I might just go with Green...Bledsoe, Plummer, and Warner are all good, but there's also Romo, Cutler, and Leinart. Romo shouldn't be a problem, I would hope Cutler wouldn't be a problem, Leinart I just don't know...maybe someone clearer on the facts with those situations could shed light on this. Besides, Green shouldn't do so bad either. Green or Plummer, I think. Especially if this is your QB1...I'd be dead uneasy with Bledsoe as my QB1. -
Ah well...I was hoping. Careful with the "getting RB fodder in 4th/5th" though...seriously. Did a mock draft today, that's what I was thinking too. Then Dillon and Gore get taken, I thought, okay, I'll just add another WR for the flex spot. Then a few more guys I target get taken, I think, okay, I'll get a good QB now while I can. And nobody's paying attention to Wali, so I'll just pick him up down the line...whoops. Before you know it, I'm picking Maurice Drew in the 13th (12 team, 15 rounds) as my RB3.

Is there really any chance a superbowl-minded team like the Broncos is going to bench Plummer for Cutler? I don't think so.
-
What are the odds of Boldin being avail 3.08?
-
Yeah, I don't understand. Galloway is aging; last season was an abberation. I don't think he'll repeat that. Clayton should bounce back, match or exceed Galloway. Yet Clayton is down in Tier 6? Don't understand...

Maurice Drew Wali Lundy

Baltimore is run-first and I don't see them getting into many shootouts. If Mark Clayton catches 75 balls, what do Todd Heap and Derrick Mason do?

1qb/2rb/2wr/flex, the flex being RB/WR. What's the consensus for the better position to start in the flex spot? I'm thinking a WR, just because the RB spot is so thin. My initial thought was RB-WR-RB-WR-RB for the first five picks. But would it make more sense to go RB-RB-WR-WR-RB? Choice #1: 1st/3rd/5th round RBs 2nd/4th/6th round WRs Choice #2: 1st/2nd/5th round RBs 3rd/4th/6th round WRs I mean, in the 6th round you can get a Rod Smith for a WR - so do really need a CJ type to complement? Driver and Plax tend to go in the 4th, I believe; if you can get Driver/Rod Smith, you may as well grab a 3rd-round WR to complement, right? Along the lines of Chambers/Ward/Roy Williams. But it just gives me pause that it's a PPR league, with bonuses for 100-yd games (rushing and receiving). According to AntSports, ADP for a 12 team flex, TE-required league has Dunn and Chester as fairly safe bets for the 3rd round (maybe a problem if you're after 3.06?) for RBs, while Westbrook seems like the best 2nd-round option. It seems to me that if you can get a Dunn or Chester in the 3rd (is that a big if? I'm not sure), then going RB-WR-RB-WR-RB-WR makes more sense. Westbrook's injury risk leaves not many good choices for RBs in the second round, especially against the top receivers in a PPR league. Dunn would be a reach there; non-receiving threats such as McGahee just wouldn't be value over an elite WR. On the other hand, I'm concerned it can backfire. What if Dunn goes in the 2nd? What if neither Dunn or Taylor are available by the time the 3rd round pick rolls by? You'll have to reach for a guy that might go in the 4th round, like Gore, which would make anyone uneasy as a RB2 in the first place. Is missing out on Dunn in the third round a legitamate enough risk to take a hit at #1 WR? What do you guys think? RBs become really slim picking after that, unless Ahman Green or Corey Dillon can be had in the 7th, there's probably no choice but to carry 3RBs and 4WRs. So securing two top RBs becomes important, so it's a matter of what kind of RBs can be had where in the 3rd round, and whether in a PPR there's appreciable difference between the 2nd round RBs.

No, no. Different windows don't matter. It can't be done unfortunately...as I explained in the duplicate of this thread in another forum, use two different browsers. Not just different windows, two different browsers: i.e, Internet Explorer and Firefox.
-
Use two browsers. You'll have to rotate between windows obviously, but it's not bad, just be careful and keep track of which is which. Always look at the team name/login before making your pick Login information is stored in cookies specific to the browser. If you don't have two different browsers installed, it's not hard. You should have Internet Explorer already (assuming windows); just go download and install either Mozilla Firefox or Opera. If you're on a Mac, you should have Safari. Again, download Firefox for Mac. If you're on a Linux, I guess Firefox is default but you can always go with K-Meleon. Lots of different browsers out there, even ones based on the same rendering engine (i.e, Netscape/Mozilla/Mozilla Firefox) work.

Still, as high as I am on Driver over other WRs similarly ranked, I won't draft him ahead. In a recent mock I went Wayne-Driver in rounds 3 and 4, even though I was higher on Driver. I won't take him before round 4, don't think he'll last to round 5.

What about CJ in a PPR league?
-
I was looking at the projections in my league for defenses and thought it was really odd that some of the top-ranked defenses (Pittsburgh, i.e.) were being projected towards the mid-bottom area for points. I then noticed that returns were being factored in. How does this affect rankings? I don't know if the Bears or Steelers have any semblance of a return game, but I believe the Chiefs and the Panthers have pretty good ones. How about teams that are going to scored on and scored on? Wouldn't normally make sense to draft those defenses, but more scores = more return opportunities. I'm picking my DEF second-to-last anyway, but just wondering how this would factor in. What teams are dynamite for returning? What teams are bad? Scoring system, if interested.
-
Yeah, Westbrook/CTaylor are both on the table. This is your chance to get them.

Ronnie,Lamont,Dunn - no question.
