Nice guy

I say NO... Don't buy into all the Portis hoopla. He'll be fine in 2 weeks at worst and statistically, Mason is a stud when playing with McNair. A decent RB, not to mention one you probably took with your first pick in the draft, are far and few between and decent WR's emerge on a weekly basis.... and don't forget about all the baggage that TO carries. Just my 2 cents...

I have pretty much the same situation.. only instead of Ronnie Brown, I have Rudi Johnson. I just can't bench Edgerrin James. That offense is unstoppable and sooner or later Seattle with have to drop back to cover the unstoppable WR's tandem which will loosen up the line a bit for Edge. This wont be his best game, however I predict pretty much the same rushing stats as last week but with about 20-25 more receiving yards. SF def isn't as bad as most think either Just my 2 cents BTW, it's nice to be so deep at RB to have this problem Good Luck!

This week I'd go with Chester Taylor. He is the goal-line back, gets tons of touches, has great hands and Caddy is limited due to his back problems. I look for Pittman to get several carries if Tampa gets ahead. C Taylor! My 2 cents

Ouchhhhh. What a screw deal this is for the "rook"... Your in a lose.....lose situation as the commish.. Chances are a strong team is getting stronger and a weak team is getting weaker which hurts the integrity ot the entire league. If this is a money league, I'd be very frustrated, however, I hate vetoing trades and would have to chalk it up to a learning experience for the rookie. Good luck.

If I were the one getting LJ and KJ I'd do it. LaMont Jordan is a bust... and I believe FWP will lose several goal-line touches to Davenport. LJ is a top 3 back in any league with KJ having huge upside with the newly revamped offense. My 2 cents worth

excellent point... Never thought about the "trade-bait" angle. Thanks

I agree... you'll regret giving up C Taylor and Smith for Ward. WR's are plentiful and emerge every week. Chester Taylor is a guy who gets all the carries in Minnesaota, can catch out of the backfield, and is sure to continue to climb the weekly cheetsheets as the season progresses. I live in Minnesota and see what this kid is all about. Get more, or hold on to him.... My 2 cents.

I know most are going to say Addai, but I dissagree. A Green put up huge yards against the Chicago Def. I'd look for a low scoring, ball control, smash mouth, run, run, run game. from the Linons... running K Jones at least 20-25 times. Addai won't see nearly that many touches and Manning most likely will throw in the red zone agaianst a terrible Texans Def. Just my 2 cents.... My gut sast K. Jones.

Help! Swap out C Brown (RB) for Simms or Collins (QB)?
dgravdal replied to joeunleaded's topic in A Little Help!
Just remember that C Browns back up, Travis Henry, has turf toe also and is questionalbe this week. I'd wait to see who emerges as the starter this week first. If it is Brown and he has a decent week, trade him for a better QB than Collins and/or Simms. If not, QB's of that caliber should be available throughout the season via WW or FA. Just my 2 cents.. -
I'd go with A Green. He put up very nice numbers against the Bears #1 def. McGahee is a stud, but was unimpressive last week and against a lesser def than the Dolphins..... not to mention McGahee yielded a score A Thomas...... Green is the man in GB and will get the red zone touches. Just my 2 cents... Thanks
-
Should I be nervous about A,. Gates 2 catch, 26 yard plus 1 TD game though.... Is this what I can expect all season?

I pretty much agree with the previous posts. Chances are you wouldn't start D Foster over your top 1 and 2 RB's. Why not trade him away to solidify an already stout WR core. I have TO in one league and think is is about to blow up....in a good way that is. He's very cocky and just itching at the chance to prove all his critics wrong. Jump at the this trade... Just my 2 cents
