Last weekend was the 1st week of the playoffs. Going into sunday morning I had a vacant Kicker spot that I needed to fill. My opponent used his kicker (Gould) on thursday night. When I go to get a kicker Sunday morning I discover my opponent had added/dropped 3 kickers within seconds of each other so that I couldnt pick them up. He used his kicker already thursday night so he shouldnt even have been messing with kickers. I brought this to the attention of the commish and all he does is give the guy a warning! I showed him in the rules where violations can result in forfeiture. And thats what I expected. He cheated! Its the playoffs. There is no tomorrow. If he pulled this stunt during the regular season I can understand giving him just a warning , but not during the playoffs. Too much on the line. Well, I lost the appeal and lost this weekend. I will never play in a CBS league again.

Let me correct myself. I did earlier state that I lost the appeal and the game. Incorrect. I stil won but the object of the message is I will never play CBS sports again as they dont enforce the rules.

Lets look at the obvious. He cheated by blocking players (its specific in the rules) by adding players and then droping them within seconds . It isnt a question of if I won or not. He violated the rules. By violating the rules he should have lost by default before the game even started. Some ask, why wait til sunday to fill the kicker roster spot? Why not? Weather plays a factor in all games, especially with kickers. I wait til sunday morning, check the weather and pick ups kickers accordingly. I did win the game , but the point is, he violated the rules and the CBS commish handed out a lame "warning" to him, not to do it again. I felt the penalty should have been more harsh as it is the playoffs. I still wont play CBS games again.

I used the Compiler/Draft Buddy program and I thought I had the best overall team at the start of the season. Farve, S. Jackson, M. Barber, S. Smith, Driver, Curtis, and Winslow. Jacksons injury killed me during several weeks, Steve Smith was a total dissapointment as was Driver. I finished 7-7 missing the playoffs by 1 win. Interesting note: of the teams that did make the playoffs only T. Romo, P. Manning, Burress, T. Owens, Chad Johnson, T.J. Houshmandzadeh and TE's T. Gonzalez and Clark were the only notable (big name) players on their rosters. No Brady, Rothlisberger, Brees, Randy Moss, Boldin or Fitz,and no DST's like Minn, Pittsburgh, Patriots, or Colts. Seemed like a strange season with injurys taking credit for most of it.

Ive played Fantasy football 3 years and I won the 1st year. No injurys! Sucked the next two because of injurys. Guess the lesson here is to pray for no injurys.

Iv'e found it helps to put a "respond by a deadline time , Example; Tuesday 3pm" in any trade offer to help speed matters along. Some teams will sit on your offer hoping something better comes along or waiting to see if certain players get hurt during weekly practices.

I have S. Jackson, M. Barber, and C. Benson with Betts and Norwood riding the bench. C. Taylor is available on the waiver wire. Should I go after him, and if so who should I dump? Betts or Norwood?

I would try to trade him before I would just dump him to the waiver wire.

Why trade for Breeze? The QB's you have are fine and LJ has a tough road ahead. Dont do it.

Go with Taylor and trade Peterson while his value is high. Crappy QB's will make defenses stop the run 1st and worry about the pass 2nd. I dont see Minny scoring alot of points this year.

Ive got RB's S. Jackson, C. Benson, M. Barber, L. Betts,and J. Norwood. Im betting on Dunn and Portis to go down with injurys which would vault Norwood and Betts into starting roles. My problem is that Im short on WR.s Ive got S. Smith, Driver,T. Glenn and I got J. Jones for insurance until Driver fully recovers. Come week 7 my WR's will be hurting me with bye weeks. Ive offered the owners of Portis, Dunn and J. Jones trades for a WR but they all laugh at me. All the WR's I requested had lower ff projections than the RB's I offered. I referenced my player trade values to what the compiler program quotes (140-160 ff pt range) which is similar to CBS's forcasted numbers. So considering no one wants to wheel and deal, who come week 6 or 7 if any, should I unload, or should I hang on and wait for Portis and Dunn to get injured and then offer a trade again, but up the antie?

I would go with benson as I dont trust portis (injury prone) yet

Easy pick. Go with atlanta's defense. Vikes have no QB and will concentrate on the run. Too much offense in St Louis

I dont think Portis will last due to injury, Keep Betts

I would ask for Westbrook, Romo and a third player (your choice)for S. Jackson Rivers should do OK But I dont trust Grossman.

I want some of the drugs that the owner of Rudi and Cutler is on. He is pretty wacked out! Keep S. Jackson!!
