    LARRY JOHNSON, LT, OR ALEXANDER?

I took Johnson first in my draft, but all three have their downs. Johnson has the Roaf retirement, the change in offensive scheme. Alexander has Hutchinson gone, and an unlikely to be as easy NFC West. LT has an unproven quarterback. I'd say LT is the safest option, but I thought Johnson had the best upside even with Roaf gone. Edwards was never afraid of giving one back a heavy workload so Johnson should put up big numbers. If he's as good as last year he's the best in the league. That was my reasoning. Hope it helps

First Time Drafting - How did I do?

Thanks for your advice. I'll try to add Coles and Jones, although chances are I'll only get one. I probably shouldn't have picked Galloway that early, but in the heat of the draft it slipped my mind that he's on the old side now. Picking Watson that early might be a mistake too but there had been a bit of a run on TEs and I thought it was better to get a starter than a backup WR, but now that I look back Derrick Mason was still there which would have solidified my WRs. Anyway, thanks for your help. Hopefully I can get another WR to improve the depth. I'm not really qualified to give advice, but I'd say if you can get Bush in the 2nd you should take him. Obviiously he'll split carries this year, but next year he should be a top 5 back.
  3. Drafted last night in the NFL.com Fantasy League. Here's what I ended up with. Rules require you to pick up two kickers, and two defenses; 1 Larry Johnson RB 2 LaMont Jordan RB 3 Santana Moss WR 4 Joey Galloway WR 5 Joseph Addai RB 6 Jake Plummer QB 7 Ben Watson TE 8 Nate Burleson WR 9 Lawrence Tynes K 10 David Carr QB 11 Zach Hilton TE 12 Colts D/ST 13 Matt Bryant K 14 Falcons D/ST I'm planning to drop the Falcons for Lavareneus Coles or Matt Jones, and Bryant for DeAngelo Williams. What are your thoughts on those? Should I hold off until closer to the season to get a better read on depth charts and injuries?
