    KU Jayhawks...BCS Bowl Bound?

It's very unusual to be talking about the KU football season still after basketball practices have begun. KU just shut down Texas A&M on the road to improve to 8-0. Still one of the 4 undefeated teams so far, but Arizona St is down right now to California. With the downfall of Nebraska this year, a home victory is very able to see with 2 tough games at OSU and rivalry MU. If, KU manages to run the table, win or lose in the Big 12 championship game should guarantee a spot in a BCS bowl game. Nov. 3, 2007 Nebraska Nov. 10, 2007 at OK State Nov. 17, 2007 Iowa State Nov. 24, 2007 Missouri Think about it, with how crazy college football has been this year, why not?

    KU Jayhawks...BCS Bowl Bound?

I have to tell you. It was crazy down at the Orange Bowl. Who thought the Jayhawks would make it to a BCS Bowl? Well, just take a look at the thread. Not only did we make it but we beat a pretty quality team. Ohh yea. It's college basketball season and the boys are also still undefeated.
  3. Travis Henry wins appeal The good news is that all Travis Henry owners will kept him on your roster can still use him. The bad news for the NFL is that they will face many more lawsuits to contest positive substance abuse test.

    Roy Williams this week

You shouldn't try to run on the Vikes, so passing should be the only way the Lions have a shot at winning. I think that Martz comes out of his amnesia and starts passing of old. I am starting Kitna and think he is due for a big game as well. On another note, how small are Kitna's hands? That boy fumbles as much as Kurt Warner.

    is sperm edwards retarded?

Great move, replace a kicker with no accuracy with a dinosaur with no leg strength to miss the same kicks. Freaking brilliant. What, Morten Anderson doesn't want to come back to KC. Old kickers...old QB's....old coaches......no Super Bowls. <---- Chiefs business plan Chiefs suck!

    I need to vent.....

Kicking a man when he is down is the optimal time to do it, opposed to kicking him when he is standing up. The object of fantasy football is to score more points than your opponent, not score the most. You claim you scored the most point, but if there are several teams just behind you then it's a moot point. Also, scoring 200 points in one week and then 50 the next doesn't get you to 1st place. Learn to get more consistant players on your team, or people might say you just got lucky that a player went off.
  8. After thinking things through and much analyzing, I have always gone with my gut feeling with no regrets. Just like playing poker, you make the best decision and accept the probability that you will be right the majority of the time but you might get a bad beat every once in a while.

    What #2 RB to start?

Currently still deliberating over the matter. I am notorious for stock pilling RB's so I have to decide who to start along with McGahee. My choices are: DeShaun Foster DeAngelo Williams (What's up with Carolina's RB's and their two capital letters in their 1st names?) Travis Henry Selvin Young Chester Taylor (Waiver Wired him this week) Ricky Williams (Picked up during preseason and stashed on the IR).....

    Roster Review Requested

Javon Walker and Ricky Williams look interesting. Walker should be back soon and should be a big push the rest of the season, Broncos Homer here. The Broncos have no teams left on their schedule with a winning record after this week. I believe that Ricky will be playing somewhere rather in Miami or not. Those are two I would take a shot on. Huge upside. I think you could let go of your WR Henry and Hackett.

    WR Chris Henry .......

Never bench your studs. You have to keep Smith in the lineup. As soon as you take him out he will go off.

    Sleeper WR of the week

Are you talking about the sub-prime banks? They tend not to be doing well lately and I wouldn't "bank" on anyone in the passing game for the Ravens.
  15. kcsportsguy

    John Beck?

I would just keep Eli in there.
  16. Looks like Steve Smith is just practicing not being thrown the ball to during the week now.

Help for WW RBs in deeeeeeep league

If your going to have to gamble, might as well pick someone who can get you a cheap TD. A goal line back like Jones at Jax might be available.

Is Ryan Grant the next Ahman Green...or Samkon Gado?

Gado. It's easy to look good when Favre is playing like a youngster again.

    Ricky Williams - Re-instated

Did you ever think that Priest Holmes would play again? I believe that Ricky will play this year. His body is well prepared and the rest of the NFL has been banging it out all season, and preseason, so Ricky has to be fresh. Ricky will be auditioning for next year so I expect this former Heisman winner to perform up to a #2RB. Best case scenario is that the Dolphins cut him and he becomes a free agent, then lands on a team that can use his services immediately.

    Adrian Peterson, MIN

The thing to consider is how much does Braylon upgrade your WR core. If you only start 2 WR, probably doesn't impact the lineup but if you have to start 3 WR and no flex, then I think the trade makes sense. You would upgrade your WR spot as well receive a YOUNG RB who is having an off year compared to last year. A new offensive coach and the injury of their starting QB has played a role.

    Travis Henry - Out

Young with a 100 and a TD look good for the future. He almost fumbled twice and needs to hold on to the ball to stay out of teh dog house. An empty Arrowhead stadium in the 4th quarter with the Broncos a head. What a great day.

    Chiefs

Like I have been saying in other post, Holmes is running well, but they have a terrible offensive line that cannot run block or pass block. Holmes looked like he had the same burst and made his shifting cuts like it was 2 years ago. I have had Selvin Young stashed on my team since pre-season and glad I did not drop him. Selvin looks good.

    Dallas Clark

I have him too. He was fine last week and then the concussion came out of no where. He practiced Friday though. I heard a reporter today mention that Marvin Harrison and Anthony Gonzalez did not make the trip out to San Diego and that Wayne and he joked that Clark might have to line up as a receiver so I assume he made the trip and is playing. I am rolling the dice and playing him. There was no other TE on the waiver wire who would amount more than 3 points and Dallas could easily get double digits. I think this is another NFL manipulating the "injuried player list". We'll see.
