Need help at QB, WR & TE - If I win I'm in

Contrarian view: 1. Brady for sure (I agree) 2. Bryant(GB pass defense is worst)-I agree. Cotchery(I do give Caldwell a slight, slight edge over JC but why put all your eggs in one basket. Cotch is hot and Pennington must throw to be successful. JC seems to be becoming the go to guy. I just like to have diversity unless you are talking about a combo like Romo to Owens; Palmer to CJ; Hasselbeck to D Jax, etc. Brady to Caldwell is not quite that combo yet and should Brady stink it up you have an out. Keep in mind too that Brady sprays the ball all over the field.) 3. How can you ever sit Gonzo now? I wish I had snagged him!

    Muhsin Muhammed or Ben Watson

I love Watson, especially if this is not just a td league! If I had Mush, I would hope he was no better than a #3 WR for me, "it's Chicago for crying out loud"

    wayne and barber for alexander

It depends on a number of things. Are you set at wr on in need of help(I can't imagine a team that Wayne would not seriously upgrade); is it a td heavy scoring system or does it favor yardage; is it a ppr scoring or not? If td heavy and no ppr I lean a bit toward SA(barely for I believe Tiki is far from dead at 30). But, IF it is yardage heavy (ie. 1 pt for 10 yds) AND 1 ppr, I strongly suggest taking the trade! Tiki will catch more ball, get plenty of yards, and Wayne is a strong candidate for a top 10 wr. Add to the above that all of your hopes and dreams do not hang on 1 but 2 studs and it suggests a take it a run scenario. Just my opinion

    McGahee for Wayne?

rb R Brown McGahee C Taylor K Jones Gore M Barber wr C Johnson D Driver D Jackson Michael Clayton Rod Smith L Coles qb Plummer Vick te Cooley League = 10 ppy receiving and rushing + ppr The Wayne owner is weak at rb. A straight up trade could be made and still leave me fat at rb and stronger at wr imo. I could also trade mcgahee/coles for waynete alex smith to back up cooley. I may also be able to trade for Bulger to upgrade qb, Bulgers owner also has Peyton. Another desire of mine is L Jordan, the Jordan owner is fat at rb but weaker at wr (it would cost me cj to to get but I may be able to do a double trade with him, i.e. c johnson/taylor,jones,mcgahee or gore for jordan/j horn or roy williams. I feel my weakness is qb right now but with the ppr, jordan would be a huge impact player for me. I am leaning toward standing pat but thought you gurus may hit me with something to think about. Thanx to all!
