As predicted... Raiders tap McFadden as starting running back Coach Tom Cable has named Darren McFadden the Raiders' starting running back over Michael Bush and Justin Fargas. Cable cited the 2008 No. 4 overall pick's consistency and "explosiveness" as reasons for his promotion. We envisioned McFadden as the offensive centerpiece regardless of whether or not he lined up with the starters. This news only ensures that he'll see upwards of 20 touches per game on a regular basis. It's very bad news for the incumbent Fargas, who risks losing his spot in the running back rotation. Clearly, both McFadden and Bush are superior talents. I'm in a very comptetive 10 team league. 2 RB's 2 RB/WR's I have Dangelo Williams / Chris Johnson auto-starts every week. Never bench your studs ( though it probably killed me this week w/ CJ @ Pit , ugh ) Now that Pierre Thomas has been ruled out I have Mike Bell vs. Det McFadden vs. SD FJax vs. NE Julias Jones vs. STL to fill 2 RB/WR's slot All are probably going to get 15-20 touches and are probably legit # 2 RB's with their matchups. I feel like any wrong decisions i'm going to make will leave me 15-20 points on my bench. All those guys are capable of putting up 50 yrds 0 tds or 125 yards a TD What a predicament.

I'm not asking for help. Just simply stating what a interesting situation I find myself in week 1 already stuck with the tough decisions.

I think LJ is a total HIT / MISS candidate. Either 1200 yrds rush 10 tds 25 catches 200 yards Or play in 7 games 400 yrds rush 4 tds 10 catches 100 yards

I think Aaron Rodgers will have a better year than Warner. I don't think his scrambling ability has much to do with it, but I think both Warner & Boldin's health are a big concern for Warner's production. I would say Rodgers 3800 yrds 32 TD's Warner will only play in 10 games 2500 yrds 20 TD's

We're giving this guy nicknames already???? I drafted him in the 15th round in a 10 team redraft. Loved him @ Clemson, was an absolute moose. I don't even have turner, but scooped Norwood in the 13th. I chose to drop him over JD because I think JLew is on his last leg in CLE. Why wouldn't they start Quinn, phase out Jlew ? But seriously, when do you think he gets his first start or atleast a majority of the carries? Week 5 me thinks. What's With James Davis? WWJD?

I think my league settings are the most used settings in long running leagues. 10 teams 2 divsiions 6 playoff teams 2 division winners get byes in the first round of the playoffs. That being said, Yahoo tried introducing all these innovative ways to beef up the schedules. You can customize the schedule, set up " rivalry weeks", etc etc. As always been the case with yahoo, whenever you would get a random schedule they would NEVER have equal division games. Clearly this is a huge issue seeing as the 2 division winners get byes in the first round. Am I missing something or did Yahoo totally blow it in not having an option saying something like " Equal division games". I guess I could make my own schedule but i'm sure everyone in the league will cry that i'm making the schedule and it's too much power. Are there any random templates out there to create a custom 13 weeks schedule, 2 divisions , 10 teams?

Are you a 'skins homer? I think that's a lot of love for Campbell and a lot of hate for Manning... I would say probably 220 yards 2 TD 0 int for Eli ( how can you ignore what he did at the end of last year )... 180 1 td 1 int for campbell

Who cares about any injuries he has... In that offense, with that protection and Randy Moss.... He could throw for 35 TD's in a wheelchair.

Assuming you judge both of their talent being equal... Who would you rather have throwing to you? Tony 'Butter Fingers ' Homo or Tom ' I bang more supermodels than Seal ' Brady? Not to mention Whitten is a LEGIT redzone target and will certainly steals some of TO's TD's...

I'm higher on Kitna for a couple reasons... - Megatron has looked like an absolute beast phsyically and fantasy wise... - I'm higher on the Det running game this year w/ fresh legs Kevin Smith - He plays in a domeski - You will likely get him in the later rounds in fantasy drafts Cutler 8.06 vs. Kitna 11.06 - Cutler will be without BMarsh for the first 2 weeks of the season and may effect their chemistry - Cutler plays 2 games in the fantasy playoffs at home likely covered in blankets of snow...

We have an open waiver wire system in our league and are thinking transferring to the Yahoo waiver system where it locks on Sunday right before gametime and then opens up on tuesday morning. One question we had when there are weeks with games on thursday / saturday does it lock from that Thursday all the way until the tuesday night game? I think that's stupid if that's the case, but the open waiver system is getting a little out of control.

25 pass yrds per point 5 pts per td -2 for turnover... Culter needs to get me 2.65 I can only think of how it's possible to lose this.... 200 yrds passing 2 int 1 fumble lost sounds about right

I agree.... Especially with a ton of turnvers by Alex " Ryan Leaf Jr" Smith... Look what happened last monday night, everyone was saying the same thing about the Ravens / Pitt game. Alex Smith will give the seahawks atleast a few turnovers which will set them up with great field position.

I would say the majority of fantasy owner play in Yahoo leagues. Our league has no waiver period during weeks everyone is available. Has anyone else ever tried to add / drop players on their mobile website using their cellphone? This has been going on for over a year now and i'm starting to flip out that i'm unable to watch the games at a bar and add/drop players on my cell phone instead I have to sit in front of my computer hawking the waiver wire.... I'm still young...I work mon-fri...get blacked out fri-sun morning...then sunday you just sit around and try and recover....when there is football on it's like going to therapy you can get your mind off how hungover you are, continue to drink and enjoy the day...when there's no football, there's no reaosn to drink hence making it boring and tacky.
