    Tampa Bay just got Focked!

Thank you. Thank you for showing what a know-nothing homer-tool you are. Watch the replay. Oh, that's right, they won't show it anymore. You can check your bears into the loser column come playoff time because they haven't defeated a single good team. Don't give me that seahawks or giants crap. They blow. Name one good team the bears have beaten. Name just one. I understand that you play the teams you are given, but not a single win vs. a quality team equals lack of battle-hardness in the playoffs. All the bears have done is screw up their draft position.

    Tomlinson HUrt

They didn't leave KC in the game. That game was never in doubt. They just turned it on when they needed to. LT is the best rb in the league and Rivers makes plays when needed. That looks like a very solid team.

    Tampa Bay just got Focked!

Rashied Davis didn't have possesion of the ball on the bears' last drive on a 3rd down play-no review.

Tank Johnson's buddy shot dead outside bar

Police: Tank Johnson present at shooting By F.N. D'ALESSIO, Associated Press Writer 1 hour, 7 minutes ago CHICAGO - Troubled Chicago Bears nose tackle Tank Johnson was at a nightclub early Saturday morning when a man who called himself the player's bodyguard was shot to death, authorities said. ADVERTISEMENT The shooting occurred about 12 hours after Johnson offered a public apology to teammates and family for his third arrest in the past 18 months. Johnson, the Bears' starting nose tackle, will be inactive for Sunday's game against Tampa Bay. Willie B. Posey, 26, was pronounced dead at Northwestern Memorial Hospital about 2 a.m. The shooting took place following a fight at Ice Bar, a club in the city's trendy River North neighborhood, said Chicago Police spokeswoman Monique Bond. Bond said police did not know whether Johnson was involved in the fight or the shooting. "He was at the bar," Bond said. There was "no information to link him to anything that occurred at the bar at this point in the investigation." http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20061216/ap_on_...bears_johnson_9

    Ethical Question

Not only should you not have told him, but you should print out a copy of your lineups, frame it and give it to him for Christmas.

    Tank Johnson in serious trouble?

Supposedly also found an AR-15 FULLY AUTOMATIC weapon. That is very serious.

    Fargas, Houston, or Washington

I need to choose a 2nd rb for this week. Injuries have left me with choosing Fargas vs. Stl., Ced. Houston vs. Minn. or Leon Wasington vs. Minn. I suppose Fargas is the best bet but would welcome any thoughts. Thanks

I am very very happy Indy lost....

It's a good loss for owners of Colts. There will be no benching/resting of Colts players by Dungy as long as they have to fight for home field advantage.

Who should I use to replace R.Brown?

Best wr in nfc north? Are you kidding? Donald Driver. Roy Williams. Greg Jennings.
  13. philmckracken

Michael Vick, quite possibly the best there is.

What does he believe in? Passing for 84 yards?

    Favre still the Pack Man?

Favre will sit only when Favre decides to sit. No one wanted to be the one to tell him not to come back this season so G.B. could develop Rogers, just as no one will want to be the one to tell him he has to sit the last few games so G.B. can develop Rogers. I even recall seeing an article in which someone from the organization had said that Favre would play as long as Favre wanted to play. He didn't come back to sit. Besides, he has shot at the all-time td pass record and sitting won't help him get there.

    How long is willis out?

Even if they are getting killed, Buffalo might run the ball more than most teams would because they can't pass the ball.

    bears can't stop stud wr's

Roy Williams 71 yds. Travis Taylor 82 yds. Donald Driver 96 yds. Darrell Jackson 62 yds. Anquan Boldin 136 yds. TD Lee Evans 94 yds. TD Chris Chambers 58 yds. TD The trend STILL holds-and all against crappy competition.

    bears can't stop stud wr's

This cost the bears last year (Steve Smith) and is hurting them this year. The bears refuse to put their top DB on the other teams' top wr's. They keep their DB's on the same side of the field all of the time. They refuse to make switches when wr's go in motion. This is stupid and will again be their downfall. http://www.profootballprospectus.com/stats/teamdef.php

    I can't take it anymore!

Hey Stupid, Restaurants do the same thing when they abbreviate orders for chicken dishes. They write 'chix or chx.' Putting an 'X' in place of 'ck' when abbreviating is very common. Just get used to it. You don't make the rules.

top points but not making playoffs

Nothing should be done. Having the highest point total in the league could be the result of a team having a handful of monster points weeks while being average or even below average the rest of the weeks. You can have the highest point total without having been consistently good. Would you deserve some special treatment then? What if the person with the most wins has the best record because he luckily faced opponents every week whose best players were on a bye? Do we penalize him? What do we do about the guy whose team seems to always face the team with the highest points for the week resulting in his terrible record? Do we want to take all luck and randomness out of fantasy football? That would take a lot of the fun out of it. We all benefit or suffer from randomness and luck in our leagues. Your situation is just more easily noticeable than others.

    bears can't stop stud wr's

"lastly, much of these wr numbers were gained during garbage time when the Bears were up by 30 points. Prevent defences and sometimes 2nd stringers in for Chi. The whole premis is flawed and overblown because of last years playoff game." Nobody listens. One of my points was that the bears do not adjust by switching their best corner to the other team's #1 guy. The premise is not flawed because of last year's playoff game. Last year's playoff game exactly proves my point. Steve Smith torched the bears for 169 yds. in their regular season meeting. What did the bears do to prevent that in the playoff game? Nothing. They were too busy patting themselves on the back for being a great defense. The #1 wr numbers for this season show a trend that helps support my contention. I understand that a lot of those passing yards are in garbage time, but so far there is not one game that anyone can point to in which a #1 receiver has been shut down. I've seen great receivers shut down by other teams this year, ala Chad Johnson, Marvin Harrison with stat lines such as 3 catches for 13 yds., etc. We have not seen such stats against the bears. Doesn't anyone find it curious that a #1 receiver hasn't been completely taken out of at least one game? It will likely happen but that won't mean the end of what is a trend worth watching.

    bears can't stop stud wr's

The point here is that most people can't see beyond that overinflated record. Look deeper and you'll see some things that are going to cause problems for a team that is playing well but doing it against very substandard competition. The bears' refusal to cover the other team's best with their best and a near total lack of a running game seem to be a couple of fairly large flaws which they won't be able to hide come playoff time. Rolling over cupcakes gets you a bunch of nice write-ups in the hometown papers and a lot of arse licking from the tools at espn, but it won't help you very much when a battle tested team comes to town cracks you in the mouth.

    bears can't stop stud wr's

Also, please notice that the bears offense ranks 30th in avg. yards per rush. There are some #'s with this team that merit watching in light of the cupcake schedule that they have played. http://www.profootballweekly.com/PFW/NFL+S...subRank=offense
