My strategy that has been working out for me is spending 75% on 50/50s and 25% on the bigger tournaments. I've done this for the past few weeks and been coming out ahead. The 50/50s are not as exciting but it's where I'm making most of my money back. I just use one lineup and do a bunch of them. The tournaments are more exciting to track during the games and I'll be riskier with those lineups than I am with the 50/50s

This is my first season too and I love it. I've placed in some of the big tournaments but not for much money. Think I'm gonna play mostly 50/50s. They're not as exciting but I can generally double my money up on those.

Yeah I agree. The Sirius/XM shows are all great. The Fox show with Jay Glazer is unwatchable. The forced laughter between the guys in the league is horrendous.

Fanduel has had their Week 1 players all set for awhile. Once Sam Bradford went down, I switched up my rosters so I’d start Shaun Hill in each contest I was in. Not that he’s anything amazing but his cost is much less than any other starting QB. This obviously allows for better quality at every other position. Smart idea or will I just be donating more into Fanduel while learning the ropes? Thanks.

I just finished a 10 team draft. I drafted from the 10th position. I'm very happy with my team. Tell me what you think. I agree about making the trade. I can't really offer any more insight than what was already said but I agree it should work out well for you.

I like your draft a lot. Especially the RBs. I'm hoping and expecting Ball, Gerhart and Bell to have a great season.

I can't remember the exact order but the first 9 guys were McCoy, Peterson, Charles, Megatron, Kaep, Rodgers, Brees, D. Thomas, Julio Jones.

Yeah at least 2 of them are in their very first fantasy year. Kaepernick went #5 overall because one of the guys is a Niners fan. I was thrilled. A few guys know their stuff well though so I can't get too cocky. Especially since it never works out for me when I am haha.

I'm cautiously optimistic. I picked him up super late cause everybody already had their QBs but were starting to get their 2nd QBs. And since I was in the 10 spot I was worried they'd all have backups before it got back to me. Think it was like round 9/10 when I took Cutler.

I'm starting Torain over Ryan Mathews this week.

This is our 3rd year of our keeper league. My RBs are looking terrible although I had a lot of confidence in Forte and Lynch when I gave them long term contracts. My issue is which 2 RBs to start week 1 this season. Here's my RBs: Forte, Bradshaw, Spiller, Donald Brown, Marshawn Lynch, Tashard Choice I'm trying to decide between the first 3. Was thinking Forte and Bradshaw but Spiller's guaranteed most of the carries in Buffalo but their line is garbage and he's unproven obviously. Forte underperformed last year but still think he has the most skills of this group. Bradshaw should have a better year this year than expected (imo) but may give up the goal-line carries to Jacobs. If it helps, this is a ppr league. I'm thinking definitely Forte but who to start with him? tia

I use TheGreek. They've always been good to me and offers a lot of different props too.

Thanks for your insight. I'm pretty much hoping some of my opponents face injury issues with their RBs or WRs so I can capitalize on it with my depth. I clicked your link and gave my .02 too.

I had my first draft out of 3 the other night. I wanna tell you my roster, how I drafted and how I can learn from it before my next 2. I drafted 5th out of 12 in a non-ppr league. My roster is: QB: Matt Stafford RB: MJD Clinton Portis WR: Randy Moss Roddy White Flex: Felix Jones or Mike Sims Walker TE: John Carlson Def:San Diego K: Jeff Reed bench: jason campbell michael bush jacoby jones malcolm floyd michael jenkins mohamed massaquoi le'ron mcclain zach miller brian westbrook justin forsett my strategy was to pretty much load up on RBs and WRs. QBs went like crazy in the first round which is how i got MJD at 5th then got Moss in 2nd round and Roddy White in 3rd. I couldn't get a top 7 QB so I just stock-piled RBs and WRs. My next draft I already know I'm drafting 12th out of 12 in a ppr league and my last draft I don't know my position yet. Ok...tell me what you think. TIA

I prefer Mendenhall for the same reason gocolts stated...not as much competition for the ball. He'll be seeing almost all of the touches in Pittsburgh but you'll be okay with either guy.

I'm trying to decide the same thing. I'm picking 12th out of 12 this year and have been seriously considering going RB/RB hoping for maybe Mendenhall and Matthews. Just not sure what WRs will be left for me at 3.12

Few years back, met a girl, loved her more than any previous girlfriend. A year or two passed and we messed around and had a baby. 5 months after he was born, pregnant again. She told me that after 3+ years together and 2 kids, I should want to marry her or let her go. I figured that I always did wanna get married and who better to marry than her. But that being said, I always had my doubts about it lasting forever. But I couldn't imagine life without her. We got married. By our 2 year anniversary we were in marriage counseling and we were done a few months after that. Should've never married her but hindsight's 20/20. I certainly don't regret it, just probably shouldn't have done it out of fear of her leaving.
