I'd really appreciate some help on this, I am 2-2 and really feel like I need to make a move if I want to win my league this season.
-
I have R. Brown on my team as well and I am loving what he's giving me since Gore has been such a letdown. However as someone was saying earlier in a post here Brown still has the Pats twice and a difficult playoff schedule. Meanwhile KC's passing game is coming alive and that should allow LJ to keep getting stronger and stronger. If you can give up Brown for either LJ or LT and feel like you aren't giving up too much of your depth then I would take a shot to make either of these trades happen. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=293454

I was thinking R. Brown for Palmer or manning strait up. or Brown and Ward for Manning/Palmer and A. Crumpler. Ahh there is so much I could do this is driving me crazy. I could also keep big Ben and go after Gates...

I currently have Cooley and J. King on my roster at TE. I don't know if I'll start King again if Cooley stays healthy so I feel like it would be worth the risk to grab up Davis in case he decides to play a little ball when he gets back. The only reason I haven't pulled this triggers is because I have no faith in any part of SF's offense this year. What do you guys think?

Only 4-0 team in league and just made a BIG trade...

Your good depth at WR makes this a very nice trade! Good job man -
I really think they both have close to the same value, but if I had to chose then I believe Jones will be more consistent week to week.
-
Any chance that Dayne is floating around out there? Definitely grab him up if you can. Otherwise I guess I would take my chances with Norwood...that is a pretty ugly situation though.
-
Well this might be a biased though but earlier this week I picked up Griese to start over Cutler. I think that he will be accurate enough to move that offense more efficiently than Grossman especially against DET. (I have Bulger benched in my other league for Big Ben so I have my fingers crossed that he will come around this week). As for your RB I would bench Addai....hahahah alright if your still reading go with Jordan over Brown. The Dolphins are just terrible and Jordan has been playing well EVERY WEEK not just one. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=291856

I need to start two and could personally make an argument for all of them. 1 pt for every 10 yrds, and 6 pts for every touchdown. L. Fitzgerald vs PIT K. Curtis vs NYG D. Driver vs MIN B. Marshall vs IND
-
I honestly think this scenario would leave your RB situation as your weakest link. However on a good weak I'm sure your WR's could easily make up for it. As for your QB situation trading would pretty much be out of the question because you no longer have much depth so I would look into QBs such as Gus, Griese, Warner and just hope that one of them can play better than their counterpart.

Hey I have Wilkins as my kicker but for some reason the top kicker in my league is a FA. Do you think Reed will continue to out perform Wilkins all season?
-
I really like both of you options here and like last week I think you should just go with your gut decision. However, I really think the the dolphins and raiders game will be a lot closer than the jets game. This means Jones may see a lot more carries on the ground but Jordan also has the ability to score through the air. Tough one for me, but I play Jordan. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=291243

I honestly like Peterson at GB. He seems to be Minnesota's biggest TD threat this season and you can all but guarantee he will get more touches than Brown. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=291243

That sounds like a very solid trade to me as long as you have depth at RB. Maroney will probably be giving up a touchdown here and there all year to Sammy Morris and there's a good chance you have receivers that can match Edwards performance so I really think you should go for it! http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=291243

and just because I brought back a thread I was right about....I'll bring back the one I totally bombed too!
-
I sure hope you went with Brown man!!! I've been wrong about so many of the players that I have drafted (to this point) so it feels good to nail one thing down this season hahah
-
Give Brown a shot this week...he may be on a terrible team but since nothing is working out for them I'm pretty sure they will be pounding the ball today against a week Jets rushing D. Just do it...do it.... EDIT: Last game Vs. Jets - 22 rushes for 127 yrds and a TD
-
My current players are: (2 RB, 2 WR, 1 Flex) L. Fitzgerald H. Ward K. Curtis C. Chambers S. Holmes F. Gore E. James R. Brown J. Jones D. Wynn Would you trade E. James and H. Ward for Moss? It would really weaken me at RB but I think it would help me at WR.
-
This guy is desperate for a back...is there another trade I could possibly purpose that you think he might be interested in?
-
Well I think S. Holmes is a lock for you this week, SF allowed close to 400 yrds to Bulger last week and Big Ben has way more protection around him. As for your second pick I would have to plug in White based on the amount Tenn has been running the ball so far this year. Foster might not be a bad decision but I dont think he will touch the ball as much as White will this week. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=289454

Which RBs to start? Pick 2, and leave a link!
twofewbraincell replied to oban14's topic in A Little Help!
I really think you should put the Bush show on hold for this week. Start McGahee and Portis with confidence and still hope for good signs and a big game out of Reggie. The problem with starting Bush is that even if he has an encouraging game this week, his numbers might not be much better than McGahee's so why take the risk? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=289454 -
Looks like this question boils down to Jones or Branch in your flex position. Assuming your WR's and RB's get similar points for yardage and TD's I think you have to go with Branch here. I'm big on always playing your backs too, but for some reason up until this point of the season I would play Branch this week. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=289454

Alright my WR's in one of my leagues are L. Fitz, D. Driver, K. Curtis, D. Bennett, and D. Hackett. I only get to start two and L. Fitz is a lock so my question is...Do I start an injured Driver who I fear may not play the entire game or Curtis who was thrown at a lot in the preseason but only came up with a handful of catches???
-
Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone of you would drop one of these bench players to pick up Henderson. K. Curtis D. Hackett D. Bennett M. Lynch D. Williams C. Pennington (Only backup QB I have to Cutler) M. Turner is also a FA who I have considered sitting on...so any help there would also be appreciated!
-
It's tough having those as your only options...it would help me out a bit to know how your league scores its points. Even though your being told not to play Lewis, I think he has the best chance to score a TD this week over your other options. He may be a big risk this week but he has the best upside in my opinion. However, Stallworth is probably a much safer bet even though the Jets D may hold the Pats to very little scoring opportunities.
