Should be double 'chez berger

I read this morning that Tate would be getting the majority of the carries. It was from some random fantasy expert so definitely not a reliable source but something to keep your eye on over the course of the next hour.

Well just to screw with you I'm just going to throw out there that I expect McKinnon to catch around 6 passes tomorrow. I think he's busted off a run of 20+ in 3 of his last 4 too so if he get 12+ carries there is a good chance he'll break off a nice run. I can't recommend starting him over Ingram because his floor is way too low. BUT I will go on the record saying that I predict he will outscore Ingram in 1pt PPR leagues this week!

Ingram or CJ Anderson? Playoff chances on the line
twofewbraincell replied to Sal6482's topic in A Little Help!
I guess I'm in the minority here but I would start CJ Anderson over Ingram this week and this week only. Ingram is facing the Ravens who have not allowed 70 yard rusher all season. They play a ton of close games and I do not expect this one to be an exception. This means they will have the luxury of hunkering down on what they do best in taking away the run and force Brees to beat them through the air. Brees has not been dominant enough this year to allow the Ravens to sleep on Ingram. They know he is the key to beating them and I'm expecting them to stuff him early and often to send a message. *I should note that no runner has had more than 16 carries against the Ravens and I expect Ingram to have around 20. Anderson on the other hand is in a very favorable position. The Dolphins defense has been downright dominant for the majority of the season and the main reason is that they are allowing an average of about 200 passing yard per game. Now, that does not mean I expect that to be anywhere near Peyton's ceiling for the game but I do think they will try to establish a running game early to help Manning out. I also am anticipating the Broncos winning this game by 2+ scores which means there will be plenty of Anderson involved late in the match as well. -
WARNING: This post is fairly long for this forum. If you are in a hurry or just not in the mood to read through the rambling thoughts of a madman then I recommend only reading the text in bold. I have a lot of intriguing possibilities and a lot of them will dry up once waivers lock tomorrow. All of these options except for #1 involve dropping B. Tate. Option 1: Hold onto B. Tate for RB insurance through the playoffs. This might be my least favorite of the options because I will likely drop him in the near future. I have Crowell, McKinnon and F. Jackson as back-up RBs so he seems like overkill. Option 2: Pick up V. Davis to backup Kelce. I never would have thought I'd find Davis in the FA pool of my competitive 12 team league but I cannot say it isn't justified. However, Harbaugh has stated this week that he thinks Davis is about to turn a corner (maybe there has been an undisclosed injury bothering him?) and I'm inclined to listen because Davis is a player that often starts slow and has his best games late in the season or during the playoffs. I do not trust Kelce week to week due to the run first nature of the offense he is on. That said, unless Davis shows some life this week or next there is no way I can justify starting him. Option 3: Roster a second defense to stay a week ahead of other streamers. My current defense is Buffalo who after this week has a rough 3 game stretch against CLE, DEN and GB. I could drop them after this week and continue to stream week to week or hold onto them and grab Baltimore which would give me Balt vs Jax week 15 and Buff vs Oak week 16. Option 4: Pick up Peterson as a possible keeper/pre-season trade bait. This option is tempting me because I panicked mid-season and traded my 3rd round pick for Marshall. Now I'm desperate to get it back any way I can. The problem is that I do not believe I have the best team this season but I do have a decent shot at winning the championship. Rostering AP would mean that I either had to give up my backup QB or Defense and unfortunately I do not have a match-up proof starter at either of these positions.

I do not see Peyton having another mediocre performance coming off of last weeks shocking loss. But the Dolphins have been fantastic all year against the pass. Due to this I would temper his expectations some which means there will be less wealth to spread among his receivers. If I were you I'd feel a lot more confident in Hilton this week then I would Sanders.

Here's a good example of how luck can affect you in FF. Last season in my annual 10 team league I got off to a 1-6 start while I had the most points scored in the league by a decent margin. I ended up winning my next 6 straight to barely get into the playoffs. First week of the playoffs I have my only ###### game of the season. If I had gotten a bye then I would have easily taken the championship. Fast forward to this year same league. I'm once again leading the league in scoring and rocking a robust 5-6 record. I'm playing the 2nd and 3rd ranked team in the last two weeks and I need to win at least one of those games. The chance that a team could lead a league in scoring yet finish 6th or worse in back to back years is extremely unlucky. I think their is a lot of skill involved in putting together a team that will outscore most of the league any given week, but after that you really have no control over who you play against (looking at you Larry Donnell).

I currently have Kelce in my TE slot and would like to work out a last minute trade for Olsen. The Olsen owner has Gate and Olsen at TE and he's been starting Gates over Olsen most weeks. His current RBs are D. McFadden, J. Bell, M. Asiata, and B. Cunningham. He's 6-5 and currently in 7th place. My tradable RBs are F. Jackson, I. Crowell, J. McKinnon, and B. Tate I'd love to swing a 1 for 1 trade but I don't feel like he'd be getting fair value on his return. I'm thinking Jackson and McKinnon for Olsen. Would you consider that if this was your situation?
-
Fair enough. I guess I just want to know if anyone thinks its even worth my time.
-
I've been wavering back and forth on Crowell and McKinnon. I've got Crowell in right now but Sunday morning I'll be looking to see if Asiata sits out and if Crowell is announced as the starter. If Asiata is out then McKinnon get very interesting.

Anyone doing this Kelce thing again?
twofewbraincell replied to Eagles Green's topic in FFToday Board
I don't have a better option so I'll rolling him out tonight. Honestly he will be the only reason I'm watching the game tonight anyways. I'm not expecting much of anything out of him so if he catches a couple of passes and doesn't fumble again then I wont lose any sleep. -
Want to have a good laugh at the New York Jets franchise over the years?

At this point I think the ownership just does it to mess with them. I've always appreciated a good April Fools prank...even when it occasionally happens in early May. -
Grab the Colts and use them for two weeks, WAS and JAX are fantastic match-ups. I'd just stream after that though.

WDIS - Pick 3 (Calvin, Gordon, Jeffery, Evans)
twofewbraincell replied to ree10's topic in A Little Help!
I'm going to go with the consensus and tell you to leave Jeffery on the bench. Evans is too hot to sit right now. Cutler's nearly a lock to throw 2+ TD passes this week but Forte, Marshall and Bennett are just as likely to grab one as Jeffery. I think Gordon's going to torch Trufant who couldn't even hang with slow ass Benjamin last week. -
I'm dying to start Gordon up because players that are coming off a suspension have fresh legs and usually perform well. He also happens to have a pretty soft match-up against ATL. However, he knows there is going to be a ton of attention on him this week and CLE might limit his plays especially if they take an early lead. Marshall and Green are finally getting healthy and playing TB and HOU respectively which happen to be the two most generous defenses for WRs. I can only start two and I can lock in a playoff spot by winning one of my next two games. Do I play it safe and wait a week on Gordon?

Jason Cole is reporting that Tate was claimed by one of the following teams: Jets, Jags, Raiders, Titans, Bucs Source: https://twitter.com/JasonPhilCole/status/534925933451685889

Newton vs NO, Foles vs HOU I have Newton in now and I want to believe that it's because I think he gives me the best chance to win. However, there is a part of me that is thinking that I'm only starting him to make tonight's game more enjoyable/miserable for me. Who would you roll with this week?
-
I think Gray is the safer play here.

Official I got focked in a trade and curse the football Gods thread
twofewbraincell replied to Eagles Green's topic in FFToday Board
Seems like it was a good trade for you then. I'm certainly not expecting Sanders to grab 3 TDs every game. I think you're just regretting it now because of the upcoming byes. However, if you weather that storm then Julio, Cobb and Golden are going to be just fine for you. And I wish it wasn't true but Rivers still looks like a big upgrade over Newton. -
I don't think the Bucs would give a 3rd for him, but I don't think any other team would either. Therefore he'll likely remain on the Bucs but we'll see.
-
My vote is the Buccaneers...
-
I played against Vareen last week and Sanders this week. Looks like I'm in line for a disappointing thanksgiving this year.
-
I just offered a trade (still pending) to the Gates/Olsen owner. My B. Tate for his Olsen in s .5 PPR league. And here's where my turmoil begins... My other RBs are Forte and L. Bell. They both still have byes and I am 3-4 can't really afford to lose more than 1 or two more games. If either of them get injured then my drop off is substantial as my only other RBs are McKinnon and Ball (I have a waiver claim on Robinson). My current TE is Kelce. I see Olsen as a decent upgrade but not a huge one. Should I leave myself vulnerable to injury risk or just do anything I can to upgrade my starting team?
-
Olson is leading the league in scoring (no bye) and his schedule looks like there could be quite a few high scoring affairs on the horizon. They play NO x 2, Atl, Minn, TB, PHI, CLE.

Ray Rice to Buffalo
