  1. I don't think thats a very crazy idea at all. If this year is anything like last year (I was a Williams owner) then you can expect one DET receiver to have a big game....but only one. So if you think that this just isn't Roy's week then I would take my chances with Holmes too! http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=285293

    starter help

I would definitely start Leinart at QB, because his matchup with SF seems to scream Shootout. If SF gets on the board early then you can pretty much count on Leinart to produce big big numbers. As for your other two players I would go with Roy and Driver, but only because Tampa's ability to run right now is a big question mark for me. I also believe GB is going to get beat up badly this week so that means there will be a lot of opportunities for Driver! http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=285293

    Betts, Westbrook, Parker. Pick two

Thats a really tuff decision, but a nice one to have! I think I would go with Westbrook and Betts though, because Betts has looked so good since taking over and you can be assured neither of the two will have less than 100 total yards. Parker is going up against a weaker defense but if Pittsburgh is able to get their passing game going against such a weak passing D then Parker may not get many shots to run one in. Thanks for mine

    RB help

I like Pittman for you this week, Clevlands QB situation scares me and I wouldn't count on Droughns getting too many carries! http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...p;#entry2946691

    Rb Situation

Definately Betts and Westbrook!!! Both are great matchups for them and have the potential to put up more points than the rest of your backs any given week. Also, C. Taylor might not be in the lineup all day, because I've read that the Vikings really wanna see where there at with RB going into next season! For TE my gut tells me to stick with the Vet in Gonzo, but a lot of people expect Davis to put up great number this week! http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...p;#entry2946691

    Who wins this matchup

Looks even to me, I would definately give team 2 the edge though haha Tomlinson is a one man team! The only change I would consider is Hendo for Evans. Brees probably wants to put up a few TD's this week after having an awful game last week. Team 1 T. Rattay T. Owens C. Johnson A. Green -- 6 Pts. W. McGahee T. Gonzalez N. Rackers KC Team 2 P. Manning D. Driver -- 9 Pts. L. Coles B. Westbrook R. Dayne D. Clark A. Vinatieri Miami Which team do you like this week? League details are in my sig.

    Jamal Lewis or Ron Dayne

Umm 80+ yards and a TD in a blowout game vs. New England...still can't believe your asking this question?

    Dayne or C Taylor (tonight)?

Just wanna say...I started Dayne over Taylor this week and I couldn't be happier atm!!!

    Playoff Help

Hey guys I'm at the point in the week where I change my lineup every 5 minutes and I was hoping that I could grab some insight from a few of you. Last week I had more points on my bench then on my starting team and still snuck out with a win, so please help me prevent this from happening again! RB's Chester Taylor: I'm worried if he gets hit hard he'll get knocked out of the game and I've also been reading that he will lose playing time because of his injuries. Ron Dayne: I really feel like he could have a huge week against Indy, but I also fear that Houston might be playing catchup early and Dayne might not get many carries. WR's Donald Driver: I've got him as a starter now, but his injuries and the short week make me nervous. L. Coles: I'm leaning towards him as my other starter, because he had a decent week against Miami earlier in the season and 12 catches last week! I also couldn't help but notice that Losman threw for 3 TD passes last week...and then noticed that Brady couldn't complete a pass the week before..eck. Joey Galloway: I like his upside, but he really doesn't get many catches in most of his games. If someone told me he'd catch 3 balls last week I still would have had him on my bench. Roy Williams: What a pain in the ass to have this guy on your roster...can anyone tell me why passes haven't been coming his way? Should I even consider having him in my lineup for such an important game? Just a quick side note...I have C. Cooley and D. Clark at TE too so if you have something to add about that I would appreciate it. Thanks Please Help and I'll take a look at your questions! Oops sorry thought I was in the other forum...I will repost this over there

    Tough Decision....?

Alright I'll try to give you a decent reply since nobody else has helped too much. I'm taking Cutler this week if I'm you, its a huge game for Denver against the worst pass D...do I need to say more? No, but I will because this is also a huge game for the bengles who are also looking to rebound from a nasty loss. Palmer will get himself straitened out and Cutler will have no choice but to chew up massive yards through the air. Your WR delima is stressful but a nice delima to have. I see both putting up great numbers, but I have to agree with Fantasy Girl that Dallas has allowed 9 TD passes in their last 2 so dont be shocked to see Brown grab two this week if you stick him on your bench. At RB I think you have another easy decision, you must start Ron Dayne. With Addai a little banged up, the Colts will ride Rhodes to a victory after they pull ahead. Why not give the guy some extra rest with the playoffs right around the corner. The people saying Dayne wont get opportunities if Houston goes down early must have turned off the NE game when it got ugly. 80 plus yards and a TD from a game they had no chance of winning after the first quarter tells me he's going to get his chances this week. Just to make my previous info less credible I'll throw you a curve for your TE situation. Grossman's back and clicking with his WR again and somehow his confidence help remind him that his team does infact have a pretty decent TE. My prediction is that Grossman throws at least one TD before he is pulled from this game and that TD goes to Clark. Hope I've given you at least a little useful info, here's mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=261343

    L. Coles vs miami or J. Walker vs cincy

After seeing that beautiful pass from Cutler and Harrisons three TD receptions I think I'm gonna have to say Walker. However, I had Coles on my bench last week and I love to see a reciever catch 12 balls in a game. He also had a decent game against Miami earlier in the season, so he's not a bad play but Walker is who I start this week.

    dayne over westbrook ?

I gotta say Westbrook too, I think I'm starting them both this week...somehow Dayne managed almost 100 yards and a TD against the Pats in a blowout game last week. How could he not do better against Indy? He big enough to break tackles and that where the Colts have really gotten themselves into trouble.

  16. I want to upgrade my team at WR and I see a possible opening but a lot of factors are involved for it to work out perfectly. First trade - The top team in my league is hurt with Bulger, Holt, and Chicago's D on bye. He has nobody to replace any of these players with. I was thinking about trading him Vick and Driver for Kevin Jones. If he took it, I would be hurt at WR but stacked at RB. This trade might also help him get a win which could hurt me in the long run, however playoffs are where the money is earned. His other backs are Maroney, T. Barber, and Caddilac. Second Trade - If trade one goes through I would attempt to trade B. Westbrook and J. Galloway for M. Harrison/S. Smith and R. Bush. All of his backs are around 40 pts for the season so this would definately give him an upgrade and he also has TJ Housh so his recievers would still be solid. However, I lose a solid back...but because of injuries I think it would be worth it. My team is listed in my sig...should I go for this?

Which 2 QB's would you start?

I think I'd go with Pennington and Leftwich. My thoughts are the Pennington and Coles have had a great connection and Cothery is great with runs after the catch. A shaky RB core will mean that yards will come through the air. This is a big game for them and I think he's a safer bet then Brady. NE loves to run the ball with Maroney and Dillon and Buffalo is looking to rebound and have a solid defensive game. Leftwich is up against a horrible defense so he's a lock. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=245661

    Trade Help

With Barber talking retirement and Holt looking like he's got another year or two in him, I would try to find a way to make this trade happen. He'll never take Barber for Holt, but if you can put together a nice package it might start thinking and upgrade at RB could help him get a few more wins this season. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=245661

    Trade MBIII?

I think going after Galloway is a great move, you will probably never start M. Barber for the rest of the season so he is just dead weight. However, with the amount of times Galloway is being targeted since the QB change and the emergence of G. Jennings as a huge threat for GB. I think Galloway could end up with numbers better than Drivers on the year. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=245661

Trade thoughts - Risking back to back trades

I could also just go for trade number 2 without landing number 1 but it would leave me weak at RB, my only upgrade would be D. Williams on waivers.

    WR help for the week

Pick 2 please! Ro. Williams @ NYJ J. Galloway @ Phi D. Driver @ MIA Br. Johnson @ Oak
  22. twofewbraincell

    HOLY CCCCRRRRRAAAPPPPPPAH!

One thing I'd keep in mind about this move is that White will be seeing more and more carries as the season moves on. With Indy a huge part of the playoff race, Rhodes will continue to get 15 or so carries a game for the season and will also be the back helping run out the clock at the end of games. Tough decision...I like Rhodes though. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=245280

Tiki for 2 back and 1 reciever?

Maybe i'm nuts...but Tiki for Bell and Johnson seems like a fantastic deal if your desperate for an everyday reciever. Denver has been relying on Tatum more every week and Houston likes to play from behind...WAAAY BEHIND...so Johnson will get as many looks as any reciever this year. Denver's D will be able to keep them in any game so if they get a score or two expect them to pound Tatum for the remainded of the game. I think you have to worry about Jacobs stealing more carries and TD's than you would M. Bell.

    Roy Williams

Can someone help me out...is he probably or doubtful this week???? Everything I check seems to agree that he is probably and doubtful...and its driving me nuts! Any help on his problem would be great, thanks.

    Roy Williams

thanks, any idea on what the "personal problem" he supposedly missed practice for is about?
